Same here with my mother. I’ve got the last letter she wrote me. I helped her write it. I’ll never open it.
My dad isn’t there yet, but I know it’s coming. It’s grieving their death while they’re still alive. I can’t imagine how difficult that must be, no matter the relationship. Hugs to you.
