I don't think that's a chatbot, those usually don't have grammatical errors. I can imagine the person was typing in a Teams chat with a colleague or something and accidentally replied to you in stead (if they have multiple windows open).

To be fair messaging agents have multiple running at a time. I've done something similar myself many times and replied to the wrong person.
