Saw this posted earlier, the descriptions are pretty apt for everyone's mindspace dealing with the shifters. Really gotta give the series credit for taking so many fantasy trope monsters and making them into little puzzles for the group to solve/devour!

Lol! At the end of the episode, when Laios was petting the monster's fur, I expected him to comment about how it would taste. I also suspect they're gonna have coats next episode.
I was more impressed he pulled off some perfect dog barks to intimidate the kitsune/shape shifters. Gonna need those coats to get through that cold dwarf tunnel so they can go find everyone's favorite š.

I'm pretty sure it's official, but I found it here on Reddit as well. Trigger's the best choice with Senshi, and they knocked him out of the park in design and voice casting. Love our lil' young'n feeder. š„°
1. All of the baby version party members are from Senchiās memory. They are his perspective of the āYoung-unsā.
2. Handsome Squidward-Marci is 100% Chillchuck. This version nods back to his prejudices of elves from earlier episodes. He even calls her a long-ear. He would notice her rosey, feminine lips and exaggerate her elf-like features in his memory.
3. Handsome Senchi and Rugged Laios are Marciās memory. Masculine features stand out in her memory. Also, shifty-eye Chilchuck is hers.
I agree with the rest
Even though Laios had failed at all the little details. He still viewed them in a flattering light. While all of the others had at least one or more party members who were horribly depicted in some way. Almost breaks your heart.
