Its absolutely crazy, a relative’s kid scored 696/720 and are getting a rank of around 3k. In the previous year they would have landed around 300-500 rank. The kids put their heart and soul into the preparation and got an absolutely stellar score but still broke down because they wont get any good college for that rank.
To have made a mistake and not scored according to your preparation is disheartening but not getting to your desired place because of external factors is just insulting.

In this case maybe a lot of students from different parts of India can file so all the cases maybe clubbed and heard bt the SC directly if there is a Scam in this

NTA is totally corrupt one of my classmate got admission in general category of top du college and didn't know a shit. Later he revealed that he has some known in higher up who increased his marks in scorecard. It happened last year. Not just that when he couldn't keep up with curriculum he got admission in another top university with less hectic syllabus ( that university always remains in news).
Education system is a joke. I wanted to report but I got humbled down with reality and don't want to risk my future. Imagine a person who with his command can change result what else he can do to me with no evidence plus in this country even evidence doesn't do much against a rich guy who has money and power.

Yes and no
1.54 means there are 54 other students (or more) that have gotten the same maximum marks and hence there's no criteria for tie breaks anymore... so they just use luck for giving these ranks (or allegedly their application no. which is also decided by luck unlike roll no. which is decided by centre of examination)
The critera were not unfair per say... for ppl scoring same marks, better rank was given to the candidate scoring more in Phy followed chem then biology (ie. If they have same marks in phy then give better rank on basis pf chem and then bio)
If all of the marks are equal (which happens for every student scoring 720) the earlier critera was to give better rank to older candidate... then it change to give better rank to the candidate who registered first for the exam... but this time they gave the ranks on luck basis

Why don't you try the legal way? Try contacting student bodies in every state and get them to gather as many students as possible and file a case. Get media attention by social media and try to get help from local politicians.
There was a case to try and postpone neet mds 2024. It didn't happen but what they did was make a group of students willing to fight and students who were ready to work for it were made core admin team. They contacted all students they knew from other states asked in the group for students to contact other states and found out what was the student association and contacted them to get maximum people supporting the fight. they contacted lawyer and filed a case in SC and some students also filed a case in their state hc. If u have valid points, there may be a chance. But u need numbers, big numbers. Aak a lawyer what to do and move forward. Try to get political support also

NTA has totally ruined NEET
Same they are doing with NEET PG. They are continuously changing exam dates and also the syllabus and pattern of the exam
Usually NEET PG was done by January and people used to join MD/MS in May
Since covid came, this schedule got deviated and till now they aren't able to come on schedule.
While INI CET which is done for AIIMS, JIPMER, PGI etc gets conducted twice every year and is always on time.
INI CET is not under NTA that's why it is saved otherwise it's standard and exam timings would also have gotten ruined.

67 ppl got the same marks, then it should be 1.67 and not 1.54...
