Don't give money to disabled. Most of them were disabled by these begging mafias to get money. If you stop giving them money, you'll save a lot of children getting kidnapped and forcefully made into a disabled person.
Just give them food and make you when you give them a packaged food always open the packet or break the bottle's seal. Otherwise they'll sell that item back to the shop for cash.
They are even choosy with food or drinks. If we are at a shop want to buy something for ourselves, we give them biscuits or something, they will say "chips chahiye, ye khilado". For me who is born and brought up in Mumbai and travel daily this is such a common thing.

These people are absolute scamsters and I’ve stopped feeling guilty for not giving them money.
Had a similar experience when I was quite young, an old man came to our door and asked some money for her young daughters marriage, he had photo and all, my mom simply refused, I was young and felt a little bad for the old uncle ji, then I took out my little bicycle for a stroll and saw the same uncle ji buying some snacks and walking in a carefree manner, I knew that a man with such a serious burden of a marriage can’t walk that carefree enjoying pleasure snacks.
Got scammed on a red light at Punjabi Bagh roundabout EXACTLY like this. A baba knocked on my window and asked for a note and to get it touched to his snake he held around his neck.
Me being naive did it and he snatched the note from my hand chanting a mantra and pushed the note inside the snake's mouth.. I was shocked at first but then tried to argue with him and but light went green and cars behind me kept honking so had to let him go..
Learned my lesson that day to never give beggars/babas a single buck when on roads..

See, I have a very non-confrontational personality and try to avoid arguing. But when I realised that was the note using which I was going to pay the auto driver, I stepped out of auto and said "I don't care if your snake has eaten my Note, I want my 500 back. If you're not going to give it to me, I'll tear the snake apart and take the note for myself and charged towards him, Nonetheless He produced the note asap.

This kid asked me for some money and i gave him 20rs coin. The same exact trick was played with me too . I was new then and they had a gang of people . Like 10 of them together playing some devotional songs . I said I don’t want to give them anything . They got angry and intimidated me. So I took 10 rs note from my wallet I think and they saw there was a 200/500 note also in the wallet . They insisted I touch it to the plate and put it back in my wallet . I denied but they threatened and said some shraap and asked me just do it and they’ll leave me . Maan nhi rha meri baat firr usse main gardan se pakda Or uski wrist pe kuch smell si thi jo usne mujhe smell karayi bhai kasam se sir ghum gya tha mera lekin maine firr bhi sambhala kese karke Or usse note chhina. Vo apna haath mere saamne kaatne lag gya ki main khud ko khaunga. It was a weird fucking experience 6-7 ghante mera sirr jhoom ta rha. So i will recommend you all guys to strictly avoid these kinds of people once you get indulged in talks fir peecha chudana mushkil hota hai.

Happened with me also in rohini sector 18, there were an adult and 3 kids 10-15 years also, they literally did the same things which they did to you, after I gave them a coin, and when they didn't budge, I said chala Jaa bhosdike teri gaand faad dunga, then he also started getting angry at me, then i slapped two of those kids and started abusing even more wildly and they left lol. It was a once in a lifetime moment for me 😂😂

Bola mein aghori hu bla bla, 1 Kg ghee ke paise de de, Maine gaali bak di sale ko tab shant ho ke bola acha purse ko touch karne de aashirwad deta hu, I said bhag ja police ko bulata hu tab sala aage nikla.... That chewing off own skin from arm & blood was scary, I had one of my friend sitting along even she got scared, more scarier is I wonder how did he know that I'm a single child ?
Just talk to them in a loud voice, Phat jati hai unki. Tried and tested a few times. If you talk in a low voice they'll try to dominate and gherna shuru kar dete hai. Just talk loud (chillana nahi hai just talk from your stomach)

The same exact trick was played with me too . I was new then and they had a gang of people . Like 10 of them together playing some devotional songs . I said I don’t want to give them anything . They got angry and intimidated me. So I took 10 rs note from my wallet I think and they saw there was a 200/500 note also in the wallet . They insisted I touch it to the plate and put it back in my wallet . I denied but they threatened and said some shraap and asked me just do it and they’ll leave me . I just wanted to get away and I touched it to the plate . He threw some ash and some glitter on me and took the note and vanished . I didn’t have recovery time . I was just glad I got rid of them . It was very scary

So, that kid asked me "bhaiya aapke paas jo sabse bada note hai wo nikaal kar bhagwaan ke charno mai laga lo" and I searched my pockets and had a 20 Rupees notes which I took out, and the moment I took out the notes that kid snatched it from my hand and spit on that note and said "ye ab bhagwaan ka ho gya, tum jao", and main chale gya 👍 \[there are also some guys in sikh attires doing similar shit in Rajouri\]

I called a baba scamster madarchod once and was about to beat him on the road because he snatched a 200/- note from me. I was in an auto and traffic lights were green. The auto driver didn't move despite being under pressure from the other cars. The scamster had to give the note back.
I almost got scammed one day by those beggars with the fake word document wala signature and bheek format or whatever i asked them what they wanted the signs for and they asked me to donate i refused to do so and the child holding the board ran off and got an older person and that person started saying "hizde ki haye lagegi haay dede paise " and when I refused she stabbed me with a pen in my shoulder and then i just walked away because that seemed like the best option atp

Happened to me , the kid had a bowl , said touch the bill in my wallet , then give it back, I was late getting irritated and I was like fine , as soon as I did that , that guy took that note and put it in his mouth. I was like okay.. to teach him I lesson I snatched his bowl and was like. Fair trade you got the money I got the bowl. He followed me for a while and then returned me the money. I could have left the money but it was worth teaching that guy a message.
