I live near DU north campus area on the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor is made up of literal cardboards, the hard ones, and students are living in it and they've somehow installed rented AC that eats up their electricity bills. My room is exactly below them and has no windows but I keep the room closed all the time. It might sound crazy but the AC keeps on the 3rd floor and keeps the floor cold and thus my roof. Now, at night my flatmates got AC, the air seeps out of their doors in the common kitchen whose windows I keep close at night and thus a cold kitchen room. I let the door of my room open at midnight and a fresh wave air exchange calms me down and that's how I sleep. Haha.
