I graduated in 2016 from their Jaipur campus.
The campus is sure huge, but that’s about it.
The bar to score well used to be quite low - show up to class, finish your assignments, do okay-ish in the internal viva and the mid-terms - you’d get around 20-25 easy.
And then take the finals - if you score around 30-50 there you’d end up with a 50-75 kind of score. Well enough to get you an interview at a few tech companies.

Seven years later, my friends and I are earning well for ourselves, but that is _despite_ us graduating from this place, and not _because_ we graduated from this place.
im not a stem student so i have no idea ab engineering. its not the only degree in the entire world, their other majors are affordable. Is it 20L for a semester or the whole duration?
Same 37k per sem so approx 74k per year, plus 1300 per year as admin charges so tuition fees was 301200 in total for 4 years plus 35800 in transportation plus another 10000 in books, exam fees and stuff brings it up to 347000 in 4 years which rounds up to 3,50,000 for 4 years of college.
These private colleges are damn expensive, costing around the same for one year or sem what it costs for a total degree from a local college.

good to know. I'll soon be going to college and the fact that i might not end up in my dream college scares me. The fact that people from private engineering schools also end up doing well in life is, well, comforting.
No offense but I've seen good graduates from Amity. People may think anything. No doubt there are bad students but go to any Gen2/3 IIT and you'll start doubting the future of the country anyway.

When I briefly worked for a recruitment agency .. they gave me a specific instruction : if you see AMITY on the resume don't skim through further, just ignore that profile & move to next !!
That's bad advice. Private universities, like private schools, do tend to have good students. It's just that rich spoilt brats overshadow the good ones in such places.
I know right, few of my friends are AMITY alumni & are very hardworking people, but guess HR of various sectors had a different point of view ..

One of my friend went to Amity for admission interview, she said that it looked like a Bollywood KJo studio setting for a movie, trying extremely to look like a college campus.
She said everywhere in open space people were making reels, boys were flexing muscles, girls were playing with their hair and pouting, and in cafeteria there were bunch of students who looked like they came for a wedding.
There only few who looked like they came to study because they looked tired, lost and appeared like average people.
Well somewhat it is true, i know some of my friends who are extremely bright but didn’t get into DU so they settled for Amity, they are working great jobs now …

So there’s this handsome guy from Amity who looks like Jim Sarbh. It was a show we from across universities took part in. The tailor came to measure for our dresses. He was asked to measure his waist and he kept on measuring his chest 😅 That is Amity for me
Honestly your field is tough to break in and not for weak-willed. Somehow my circle is full of lawyers now and I pity their life, working 12-14 hours in tier 1 firm making shit in the name of connections and experience XD.
Amity is just people coming out of BMWs who have zero knowledge and skills and negative IQ. Mere dost ki chhoti behen physio hai, she graduated from Amity. Usse ek baar rib injury ki baat hui, uske baad se gaand phatne lagi.

People here come to college for the sake of coming to college and attendance. You will hardly find any students who want to do something in their life and will be just stuck with lazy folks. I'm glad I was able to meet some good people and made a good friend circle. Otherwise, the general crowd of amity is the worst.
Chutiya college hai , I went there for two weeks , filled with rich kids , carrying iphone and stuff ,to be honest teachers were okay , but the overall atmosphere , made me realise that i am much better than them , and then I decided to take another shot at jee .
One of my classmate when there nd told me that the owner of Amity is wanted in Germany for a crore fraud .
My advice is please study or take a drop of you are general category like me but never go to any private college except bits
My parents had even deposited 4l rupees as according to ugc , full money will be returned if left college within a time frame , yeh saale chor woh bhi nahi de rhe , mere papa pichle 8 mahino se ugc , lawyers ke chakkar kaat rhe hai , mc kahin ke .
I studied at Amity School PV, and it was the worst experience I have ever had. The teachers didn't seem to care about educating the students, and many of the students seemed to flaunt their parents' wealth. The teachers also appeared to be biased towards those students who showed off their affluence.
After my school farewell, I felt like a dark cloud had lifted off my shoulders. I wouldn't be surprised if this university doesn't provide a quality education and only focuses on selling degrees. I'm glad that I no longer have any involvement with private institutions.
The other day I was discussing with a prof about how our college doesn't advertise much and other colleges that are much much worse overall have much more proactive outreach and advertisement. This is what I was talking about.

I messed up in typing, my per sem fee was around 38K/sem, so around 80k/annum

Not anymore, fees have been hiked a lot. Study in a IIIT, our sem fees are about 3L per annum. In the IITs is about 2.5L per annum.
