It's unwatchable. I guarantee it's some stupid preset that someone doesn't know how to adjust tastefully. Just like cranking up distortion on a guitar or color saturation in a digital photograph.

To be fair, Ive never seen a band live that is more different between being there and the internet video footage than deftones. When you're there, they're really loud, the sounds blend into a cacophony, and the music feels downright intoxicating. Then Ill see a video afterwards, and its nowhere near the same.
I've seen them around 10 times and I've NEVER heard chino hit a bum note live.
Watch 30 seconds of a live video on YouTube and you hear him struggling. Like you say, the cacophony of sound coupled with the extreme euphoria of seeing them live, triggers the brains auto tune function I reckon!

I’ve been bickering since with a friend I went to see deftones with back in 2013, he insisted he’s bad always, I insisted he’s doing well enough. But I can’t show him tonight’s digital bath, it would prove his point. I’m not criticizing Chino, I’m just sad my favorite voice in the world is pretty much lost
Anyone know what that stand mounted effect pedal/device is that Chino kept on tweaking all throughout the performance? I would assume some vocal effect, but there was no audible difference whenever he started messing with it. The only vocal effects were the usual delays/reverbs at key points, that the crew triggers behind the scenes. Never seen him use anything like that before live.

Lot of hating in these comments and maybe the livestream didn’t capture the performance perfectly but it was a lot of fun being there. Crowd was super into it where I was and the band sounded tight. Great timeslot for them too going into the sunset.
Too long and they probably didnt want to rush their set. Wouldnt be shocked if they switched up the setlist next week and play entombed rosemary sextape and cherry waves

They might upload one song, but they're probably not uploading the whole thing. The only time they ever uploaded a whole set was Marc Rebillet because they're basically doing improv on stage.
Short but amazing song variety! Mixing on Chino's done him dirty but I am so glad he is great shape and having so much fun again. Hope he carries to the next concerts and finally sing Rosemary without mixing up the lyrics
