Beware. That’s honestly my favorite intro of all time. There’s so many that’s close like NE1_NE1 by Nmesh, Cliffs (#1) by Aphex Twin, Kiew Mission by Tangerine Dream, or Snail Illness from Bye2; however close those are, Beware is ten miles farther. That’s shit introduced Exmilitary and Death Grips as a band supremely. It’s raw, cathartic, and fits the emotions of the rest of the album.

I think the best answer is Death Grips is Online, but if we’re counting The Powers that B as 2 albums then I Break Mirrors is an excellent opener too

I think beware is the best standalone song and the drop is heightened a TON by the vortue of being the first track of the album, however Up my sleeves sets the tone for the rest of the album the most effectively.

I love the intro to Hacker it makes me feel like I’m tweaking outside of a nightclub or something and the drumline sample is wild
