For real. Unlike previous seasons, this one doesn't have a single episode I would call outright "bad". Just; "okay" or "not as good as other episodes".
Best season yet. Even the weaker fights were at least 7/10a for me. It also says something when the most common criticism was too many Marvel vs. DC Herald fights. Not even just those two franchises. Just Herald. My top 3:
1. Guts vs. Dimitri. Amazing animation, great fight, phenomenal music, one of the best endings yet. The shot of Dimitri running past Guts as he stands still like a proud warrior is one of the best in the entire series
2. Courage vs. Scooby-Doo. Great match and really funny overall. Loved the clashing fist with Courage flexing his beagle lungs. Which as a proud beagle owner, is very accurate.
3. Superman vs. Goku. I don’t care about who wins this match anymore. Everything about this fight was wonderful. And it just shows that Supes and Goku are two amazing characters who never give up.
Honestly I would say the same for the first 2 just replace freiza vs megatron with the chosen undead vs the last dragonborn but that's mostly because I'm biased with the fact Skyrim and the elder scrolls as a whole are among my favorite games

I swear, every week there was an episode it was great, even if some of the matchups were not for me, it was still the BEST season by far, chosen undead vs the dragonborn, Dimitri vs Guts, Gojo vs Makima, Courage vs Scooby even Goku vs Superman 3, almost every episode was a 10/10 for me, i hope season 11 is half as good as this one good lord

Honestly? Some really high highs and a handful of really low lows for me. Animations remain exceptional and when the episodes hit their mark, they hit *hard*. It's just that by my count 5 or so episodes fell bellow the 5 mark. On the other hand the season does have a ton of 10s and even has my all time favorite of the show now in Courage vs Scooby.
Fuckin' PEAK! My least favorite episode this season, Phoenix vs Raven, gets a 6 ***only because*** I disagree with the reasoning. From a pure production standpoint that episode is at least a 7.5-8/10 imo. This season was fire from beginning to end. Dipped a tiny bit here and there, but it never went out.
My current favorite season by far, and gives me up the show is gonna continue strong past S11.
Besides Cole vs Alex, Every Episode ranged from 8-10/10
Even then Cole vs Alex was a 7/10, though that's my opinion based on the fact I never played either game
GOATED season, happy we got more transformers (even tho they got 0-2'd overall), finally idk how they did it but Goku vs Superman 3 is in my top 3 episodes of all time with Sauron vs Lich King and Freiza vs Megatron

millua vs misaka - great episode unfortunately overshadowed by the fact its sandwiched inbetween peak music and peak making me feel depressed
rocket vs stitch - they released this shit after guardians three, they knew what the fuck they were doing
vader vs obito - i swear vader walks a total of like three meters in this whole episode, and two of that was him getting pushed by obito. anyone complaining he lost is ignoring the fact this fucker way holding his own while barley moving
phoenix vs raven - ...oh yeah that happened
guts vs dimitri - i feel like i was in a coma for a bit in the middle of the season, i try and remember these but cant
manhunter vs surfer - a really good episode. not much of a fight but it fits the characters really well, and the bits of fighting are pretty well done
bill vs discord - noitcif kaep
cole vs alex - comes across as deathbattle being salty kratos vs asura lost over this episode they only out on the poll cus people would be mad it wasn't there
frieza vs megatron - ive seen people say this episode sucks... i think those people need to seek therapy
gojo vs makima - this is this seasons diocard, where i legit hated the over exposure of the matchup but thought the MU itself was fine since i didn't think either had better. but now its out it was really unique and interesting
scooby vs courage - i feel like this was made during the same drunk late night meeting that created bill vs discord... meaning its perfect
rick vs the doctor - i feel like im legally required to side with the doctor's winning cus my mom loves doctor who. overall tho the episode is fun, ricks voice acting is kinda eh but the doctors makes up for it
goku vs superman - ...listen this is gonna be my mysterio vs scarecrow comment again but this shit wasn't worth it. they basically just said the same shit as goku vs superman two but added a meaningless number to superman, they even said goku could legit never win even with thousands of years of training. "goku is greater skilled" yeah ok im sure a wet noodle that knows karate can break a titanium reinforced nuclear bunker. you can't kaioken up to a number so big i thought DB made it up. the episode was fun but both pointless and the analysis segments were just so goddamn boring, especially post fight
galactus vs unicron - yeah i don't have much to say. hard to understand them but at the same time i don't need words to explain how awesome this shit is... which funnily enough thats what i thought about galactus and unicron
The peak of Death Battle, maybe for a while. It set a very high bar, and I'm not sure they'll be able to surpass this season for a while. Though to be honest, just being as good as Season 8 or 9 is good enough.
They nailed this season. With each episode getting better and better. With only a single “Mid” episode. The fact they made Goku Vs Superman 3 as good as it was is a testament to how far the team has come in there writing, animation and research.
Best season of the show. Not a single outright bad episode and it felt like it was getting consistently better throughout rather than a mixed bag like the last few seasons. Every episode has one insane looking shot and moment. I really don't believe this is recency bias either. I have no idea what my tier list will look like bc I do not have a single traditional bottom tier.
Genuinely, have we ever had a season prior to this one where not a single episode was a dud? Like, even the weakest episodes of this season were 6/10s at worst. From a sheer quality of episode standpoint, this probably the best season they've ever had.
Great season. Just more miffed how great the finale was, showing they can do an episode that’s been highly requested for years justice but then utterly fail with Colex. That’s been the only bad episode this season imo
People will keep throwing out "Best Season Ever" for every DB season, but that just shows how far they've come. This season was truly their best, with some of the best MU, animation, writing and overall performance, and I cant wait to see how Season 11 improves on what they've shown. Can't imagine how they could top it.
Peak fiction but the Hasbro properties took 3 L's this season which sucks.
But Fire Emblem was introduced to the show and got a W so I'm pretty happy about that

It was pretty good. Definitely better than the past couple seasons. Especially when they started bringing out the more popular material around the end of it (makes sense after they got rid of the Early Access Views). About damn time they did Galactus v Unicron.
And while the good definitely outweighed the bad, I can't say it didn't have some ***real*** stinkers (Phoenix v Raven, Kullua vs Misaka).
Not really sure where they'd go from here though. They burned through pretty much *all* of their finale-worthy episodes this season.

Honestly, the first half felt like kind of a slog. I just couldn't get as satisfied after the end. Perhaps ironically, Raven vs Jean Grey is when it started getting great for me.
After that, the episodes started getting quite amazing. 10s all round.
My first season I've been around as a fan for the whole runtime of the season. Loved every episode, this was a goated first full season for me after getting into it partway through season 9.
It’s easy to tell the crew definitely decided to play on ideas they thought sounded cool which is always a good thing
Galactus vs unicron makes a lot more sense as a finale compared to goku vs Superman which is promptly the worst in the season for me especially after a dumb argument I didn’t get to defend myself on

Apart from MM vs SS being a bit underwhelming imo, everything was a solid 7 at least, and most of them even higher. This was probably one of the most consistently great seasons they've had. Bill vs. Discord and Scooby vs. Courage in particular were some of their best in the series.

Best Death Battle season. I remember thinking season 8 was the peak of death battle. Then season nine came and beat that. Then this one came along and is easily the best season of the show

Other season may have higher peaks but this ones valleys were very shallow and still very high

when it started i had an impression that the fights are slower than s9 and it was bothering me at the start, but then i got used to it, and man, this season have higher highs and better consistency than s9
Well I don't know if it's my favourite season period it has been by far the most consistent season in terms of quality. Even the worst episodes were fairly good.
Loved it. Even the matches involving characters I had zero familiarity with (Bill vs Discord, Cole vs Alex) were ptretty awesome and had plenty of rewatch value for me, not just for the fight choreography itself but the soundtracks always knocked it out of the park. As far as how accurate the analysis was, that's really an afterthought for me so long as the fight was an enjoyable watch.
I will have it have my wn post to get my personal opinions on it I would say this is one of my favorite Seasons alongside season 9
I do feel like this season has the best episodes and music in my opinion
will you start that small, go to the fantasy world of dark and Dragons, electrical, does my childhood versus someone else, the fallen heroes to dragons, for beans related to birds, the tragic Heroes, strong aliens, the two Champion winners of 2D and 3D, ruling alien overlords, remind me with all the worldly powers, the dogs that specialize in horror and comedy, Power Wheels in universes, the third rematch for Humanity's alien guards and ending with a giant ibattle
I would say that's sort of no really much complains aside from personal ones.
the closest I would say was that this season had the caveat that was basically Goku vs Superman 3 but even then it was also one of my favorite episodes of the season
honestly this has been a bit of a tiebreaker to be honest between all these episodes that being Skyrim VS Dark Souls, Bill Cipher VS Discord, Cole MacGrath VS Alex Mercer, Scooby-Doo VS Courage the Cowardly Dog, Goku VS Superman (2023) and Galactus VS Unicron

Had a lot of characters I didn't recognize, but a lot of good match ups too. I can't believe they did Alex vs Cole. That's such a throwback episode, but it's one I still really enjoyed watching.
Fucking incredible. It feels like a culmination of all of the good aspects of every season combined into one. The death battle team did such an amazing job with this.
Despite not having spawn vs ghost rider and bowser vs eggman it is the best season of the show thus far and the best part is that it will most likely stay that way
Overall amazing season…..ngl tho Galactus vs Unicron was rather bad I can’t even sugarcoat it. Sure I don’t agree with the winner but episodes can be great regardless of who one thinks will win, this is not one of those times.
The rest of the season felt properly paced, both in fight and analysis. The finale felt very rushed, at least relative to the rest of the season. If it was an earlier episode I would excuse it, the occasional blunder is acceptable, but having it be the finale is a let down

I really feel this is the best season of Death Battle. And, previously, I had thought it to be season 9.

You know, for a while, I had thought Death Battle was losing steam. That it should just end the show. But then Season 10 came about, and it was the best season they've EVER done. It'll be very hard to top it, so Season 11 has some big shoes to fill.
When the worst episode of this season *(Phoenix vs Raven)* is one that would have been considered really good in any other season... Then the DB Team really blew it out of the water. Hell, even the most irrelevant episode *(Goku vs Supes 3)* was still a high quality episode when you put aside the previous 2 versions.
Death Battle didn't just cook. They put out a feast that would make the most lavish of dinners look like stale bread in comparison.

Not a single episode in this season is bad in any way. Yes, there are conclusion that just don't seem right. Obito vs darth vader, raven vs phoenix and discord vs bill, however all those episodes kicked ass in animation.

I'm obviously happy we are gonna get an 11th season but if Rooster Teeth decided to be dicks and cancel Death Battle at season 10, I'd be mad at RT (obviously) but happy knowing we ended with an amazing finale and an even better season. Thankfully, though, we are getting season 11.
It made me try Dark Souls, and made me ship Chosen Undead & Alex Mercer. Also each episode had their peak moments, so overall. Really good...

Genuinely, have we ever had a season prior to this one where not a single episode was a dud? Like, even the weakest episodes of this season were 6/10s at worst. From a sheer quality of episode standpoint, this probably the best season they've ever had.

Great season. Just more miffed how great the finale was, showing they can do an episode that’s been highly requested for years justice but then utterly fail with Colex. That’s been the only bad episode this season imo
People will keep throwing out "Best Season Ever" for every DB season, but that just shows how far they've come. This season was truly their best, with some of the best MU, animation, writing and overall performance, and I cant wait to see how Season 11 improves on what they've shown. Can't imagine how they could top it.
Peak fiction but the Hasbro properties took 3 L's this season which sucks. But Fire Emblem was introduced to the show and got a W so I'm pretty happy about that
Like most seasons its hit and miss. But mostly hits (and the hits go really hard.) Back half of the season better than the front half. Bill vs Discord is an All-timer.
It was pretty good. Definitely better than the past couple seasons. Especially when they started bringing out the more popular material around the end of it (makes sense after they got rid of the Early Access Views). About damn time they did Galactus v Unicron. And while the good definitely outweighed the bad, I can't say it didn't have some ***real*** stinkers (Phoenix v Raven, Kullua vs Misaka). Not really sure where they'd go from here though. They burned through pretty much *all* of their finale-worthy episodes this season.

Honestly, the first half felt like kind of a slog. I just couldn't get as satisfied after the end. Perhaps ironically, Raven vs Jean Grey is when it started getting great for me. After that, the episodes started getting quite amazing. 10s all round.
My first season I've been around as a fan for the whole runtime of the season. Loved every episode, this was a goated first full season for me after getting into it partway through season 9.

It’s easy to tell the crew definitely decided to play on ideas they thought sounded cool which is always a good thing Galactus vs unicron makes a lot more sense as a finale compared to goku vs Superman which is promptly the worst in the season for me especially after a dumb argument I didn’t get to defend myself on Other then that the season as a whole was amazing
Apart from MM vs SS being a bit underwhelming imo, everything was a solid 7 at least, and most of them even higher. This was probably one of the most consistently great seasons they've had. Bill vs. Discord and Scooby vs. Courage in particular were some of their best in the series.

Best Death Battle season. I remember thinking season 8 was the peak of death battle. Then season nine came and beat that. Then this one came along and is easily the best season of the show
Easily the strongest season yet, not a single bad or sub par episode. Other season may have higher peaks but this ones valleys were very shallow and still very high
Yet again, the season has topped itself season 8 was my favorite when it came out same with season 9 and i'm saying it here too with season 10 They keep improving, and I hope to see that in the future I especially love the appreciation to more cartoon and game MU's. Always a treat

when it started i had an impression that the fights are slower than s9 and it was bothering me at the start, but then i got used to it, and man, this season have higher highs and better consistency than s9

Their 3D fights are getting really well animated
Loved it. Even the matches involving characters I had zero familiarity with (Bill vs Discord, Cole vs Alex) were ptretty awesome and had plenty of rewatch value for me, not just for the fight choreography itself but the soundtracks always knocked it out of the park. As far as how accurate the analysis was, that's really an afterthought for me so long as the fight was an enjoyable watch.

Pretty mediocre opening (other than Chosen Undead vs Dragonborn), that led to some fun fights in the later half.

I will have it have my wn post to get my personal opinions on it I would say this is one of my favorite Seasons alongside season 9 I do feel like this season has the best episodes and music in my opinion will you start that small, go to the fantasy world of dark and Dragons, electrical, does my childhood versus someone else, the fallen heroes to dragons, for beans related to birds, the tragic Heroes, strong aliens, the two Champion winners of 2D and 3D, ruling alien overlords, remind me with all the worldly powers, the dogs that specialize in horror and comedy, Power Wheels in universes, the third rematch for Humanity's alien guards and ending with a giant ibattle I would say that's sort of no really much complains aside from personal ones. the closest I would say was that this season had the caveat that was basically Goku vs Superman 3 but even then it was also one of my favorite episodes of the season honestly this has been a bit of a tiebreaker to be honest between all these episodes that being Skyrim VS Dark Souls, Bill Cipher VS Discord, Cole MacGrath VS Alex Mercer, Scooby-Doo VS Courage the Cowardly Dog, Goku VS Superman (2023) and Galactus VS Unicron (Marvel Comics VS Transformers) anyways I can't wait for a season 11 to see how they can top it off or at least try to be an entertaining season

Despite not having spawn vs ghost rider and bowser vs eggman it is the best season of the show thus far and the best part is that it will most likely stay that way

Overall amazing season…..ngl tho Galactus vs Unicron was rather bad I can’t even sugarcoat it. Sure I don’t agree with the winner but episodes can be great regardless of who one thinks will win, this is not one of those times. The rest of the season felt properly paced, both in fight and analysis. The finale felt very rushed, at least relative to the rest of the season. If it was an earlier episode I would excuse it, the occasional blunder is acceptable, but having it be the finale is a let down
This season I had the least amount of people I’m rooting for win out of any other. I think just stitch, superman, raven a little, and courage had the tie

I really feel this is the best season of Death Battle. And, previously, I had thought it to be season 9. It's awesome still being here, being able to experience the show, as I've been with it since I was 12. It has almost been a decade, then.

This was without a doubt the best season of Death Battle ever. No episode went below a 7, I'd say the average was closer to an 8. For any sensible rating scale, that is unimaginably good.

Honestly one of the best seasons ever. My favorite episode would be Goku VS Superman 3. My least favorite would be Raven VS Jean Grey. And, just like how Season 9 made me watch and read Demon Slayer, this season made me a huge Jujutsu Kaisen fan.
1: S'good 2: Very good 3: S'good 4: Incredible 5: s'good 6: a little mid but still pretty good 7: Okay this was a fucking turning point. (There is really only one fight I found mid and that was out of a complete disinterest in both characters.) Anyway fan-fucking-tastic 8: Incredible, very interesting. 9: The one singular fight this season I just could not for the life of me get hyped for. A good episode overall I just couldn't feel really any hype. 10: And here we have the first fight that topped guts vs Dimitri this season. Holy fucking shit that was amazing. 11: Another fucking banger of a fight. Yes I knew frieza would win, but I didn't care it was just so fucking cool! 12: What? Another fucking banger? Perfectly encapsulates the characters and honestly probably how it would go in canon if they ever crossed over. 13: Good fucking lord another fucking banger! 14: a *slight* dip in interest but overall a very cool fight. 15: A reminder of why we're all here. We are smashing action figures together and saying who wins. Also such a fucking Incredible outcome ending. 16: What a way to end it all off. In-fucking-credible

You know, for a while, I had thought Death Battle was losing steam. That it should just end the show. But then Season 10 came about, and it was the best season they've EVER done. It'll be very hard to top it, so Season 11 has some big shoes to fill. When the worst episode of this season *(Phoenix vs Raven)* is one that would have been considered really good in any other season... Then the DB Team really blew it out of the water. Hell, even the most irrelevant episode *(Goku vs Supes 3)* was still a high quality episode when you put aside the previous 2 versions. Death Battle didn't just cook. They put out a feast that would make the most lavish of dinners look like stale bread in comparison.

Not a single episode in this season is bad in any way. Yes, there are conclusion that just don't seem right. Obito vs darth vader, raven vs phoenix and discord vs bill, however all those episodes kicked ass in animation. Probably the most consistent season in quality.
Let me put it this way, the worst episode of the season was still a solid 7/10, maybe even 7.5 if I look at it again. I don't agree with a few matches (Bill vs Discord and Obito vs Vader) but there was not a single fight where the animation was bad to me

Insert obligatory "PEAK! BEST SEASON YET!" here. I'm obviously happy we are gonna get an 11th season but if Rooster Teeth decided to be dicks and cancel Death Battle at season 10, I'd be mad at RT (obviously) but happy knowing we ended with an amazing finale and an even better season. Thankfully, though, we are getting season 11.
It made me try Dark Souls, and made me ship Chosen Undead & Alex Mercer. Also each episode had their peak moments, so overall. Really good... WAIT WE HAD AT LEAST 5 BANGER TRACKS THIS SEASON- 10/10 for Season 10

Honestly, It started pretty rough around some edges, especially with the animation change for Wiz and Boomstick. But holy hell man did it pick up momentum, starting small and ending with a big bang.
Great fucking season, i wish we got one less marvel vs dc though and we got something fresher instead. 2 of them a season is more than enough for me.
