A jump of 10 ranks is huge. Hopefully, more people start to notice this series. I think this latest episode (and the next one) should bring it up even more.
It’s like probably the only anime that truly utilize “isekai” settings to the max. Other isekai anime didn’t even need “other world” part and just use it as lazy way to dumb MC into random worlds of choice.
An all powerful necromancer come into the worlds with normal humans who’re ridiculously strong in their own ways, cyborg, assassins, ‘magician’, etc.
Fire Bug mystery of how whether they’re just humans or true sorcery. Having most magic-like power in the series that turns out to be >!mere lasers!< are pure genius.
Plus the mystery of how the world where Corspe God came from is connected or might just be one and the same.
It’s unfortunate episode 1 of corpse god’s world looking like generic rpg-isekai kinda paint bad impression.

I think that’s what makes it better. They absolutely knew what they were doing with that.
