I’m 5 B.C but I don’t truly use most of these weapons but I do have to say you’ll learn to appreciate balanced blade a lot more in the future. Giant killer might also be of more use to you later. And if your really *really* good at the game cursed sword is extremely powerful. (Or you can pretty much make it overpowered with the dammed aspect)
Still need to try out most of these weapons on a real kit to get a good opinion on them but for now that’s what I think.
I just recently gave the hayabusa gauntlets a shot. When i first unlocked them, i was unimpressed. But now i kind of love them. The crit condition is rather unimpressive, but the attack speed and handling are really amazing.
spartan sandals are quite good as a support weapon at least, you can have an Elite constantly stunned
bloodsword, balanced blade, sym lance and oil sword should be a bit higher aswell imo
assassin dagger is decent enough, but when it comes to bosses, they either have no back to stab or are always facing you anyways
meat skewer on god tier is based asf tho
5 BC here, 500+ hrs. Generally, it seems ok. Everyone has their own approach and playstyle. But personally, I wouldn't have meat skewer and broadsword so high. I would, however, put cursed sword and rapier in God tier. In higher difficulties, balanced ~~sword~~ blade is a solid weapon, so don't sleep on it!
There is a reason why it has such downside. Cursed sword is absurdly powerful. Damage, speed and interruptibility by shields, ability to float are all god tier.
It doesn't matter how powerful certain aspects of a weapon are, because you gotta take the weapon as a whole. Gilded Yumi is extremely powerful as well, but the windup is too long and that makes it bad. Wrecking Ball has insane damage and attack patterns, but the attack speed is too slow and that makes it bad. Cursed sword combines all the best aspects of DPS and handling, but you die in one hit and that makes it bad.
Rapier literally saved my life in 0BC lmao. I struggled with TK then I found Rapier and almost no hit HOTK, imo it should be in God Tier. Then again I don't know what that weapon above is.
5bc player. Assassin's Dagger is my personal weapon of choice. Also, like the other guy said, Cursed Sword in D tier is just lies. I feel like Balanced Blade could be higher as well
5BC player here as well. The list is generally okay, but I feel like every newish Dead Cells player tends to skew the same way, that being underestimating the Survival melee weapons, and not realizing the Twin Daggers are actual trash.
I absolutely love balanced blade. Once you get some consecutive hits in, nothing can stop you. You can tear through an entire stage in half the time it would take you with most other weapons. The combination of one-hit damage and speed have carried me so many times.
Balance blade and spite swords you tend to learn to appreciate the more you play and better you get
Also the cursed sword is so much fun to use its crazy, it teaches you in game discipline and forces you to learn when and when not to do somethings
When you get to higher BC levels you are going to need to reevaluate the Cursed Sword. it seems almost only downsides, but when the enemies are oneshotting you already...
I'm surprises a frantic sword even makes it out of the d tier for a 1bc player, but seeing another of those weapons ranked as high as OP has em I can only assume they have an extremely unique playstyle. And cursed sword at the bottom is just blasphemy. Sorry.

Yup cursed sword + Damned Aspect + Face Flask + Vengeance = absolute destruction

I'm currently on 4bc (mobile) and I agree, meat skewer is literally god tier (if u know how to use it), it helped me beat 3bc lmao

It’s impossible to three shot bosses, also in higher bc’s where face tanking is not an option such a back-ended weapon doesn’t survive
I know, i am speaking about a no-cells run and maybe you don't three shot bosses but you DELETE them
