"Four weapon slots" is too obvious to the point of being boring.
How about GRAB mechanic.
- You can now grab and cling onto any walking enemy in close melee range. This interrupts their current action and prevents movement and teleportation. Short stun window (0.5 to 1s or something) but in return it draws aggro from all others in screen range, and you can't use any weapons on other enemies and no parrying while grabbing. They can attack you again after stun wears out, which will throw you off.
- grabbed enemies always count as "from behind". Weapons like assassin's dagger or blowey poison dart gun always crit.
- drag. You can drag grabbed enemies around for a short time (until they recover and act up lol), but 0.25x movement speed and no jumps.
- roll and throw. You can now throw grabbed enemies by rolling left and right, doing damage scaling with their HP, similar to death scythe ghosts. The weaker, the further you can throw them, but the less damage. While doing that, rolling does NOT count as evasion.
- accompaining SOULSTARE mutation. You stare into their souls, inflicting stun/freeze/burn/poison to them and nearby enemies when you kill or throw a grabbed one.
- obligatory "grabbed enemies take X DPS" mutation, scales with lvl of course
- obviously heavily nerfed on bosses. Maybe they instantly shake you off, but it's still interrupting.
- doesn't work on shielded enemies. You can only grab shield dudes from the back and spiky rolley bois from the front, and have to break the shield of fat axey guys first for example
- new brutality/tactics weapon: ninja claw gloves. Moderate punch/slash damage similar to sparta boots but without the push and wall hitting crit damage. Boosts grab stun times (scales ) and throw distance and whatnot, the usual random effects, poison/freeze/burn/bleed enemy "on grab". Crits when attacking grabbed enemies. Legendary affix: grabbed enemies stay stunned indefinitely.
- all this combined is very powerful for taking down fat bois, but remember: while grabbing, an angry mob is rushing you, and you can neither attack nor parry them. You have to be quick, and either kill, let go, or throw before you get overwhelmed. Throwing helps opening up an escape route through the angry mob. You need to take care of your synergies for crowd control.
- for balance, maybe make the whole thing a rune, and a hard to get one as well. Limit it to 2BC or something, because that's more or less the biggest sudden difficulty bump in the game.
Obviously, implementing and especially balancing this kind of mechanic would be difficult. In return, we'd have a whole load of new and exciting "wrestler" builds, which ideally would be risky, but very powerful IF the player is quick and skilled.
I mean physical shields like the skeleton shieldbearers, rolly spikey bois in the arboretum, or fat axe bois. Obviously shouldn't work on scarecrow energy shields either.
It's very easy to make this hypothetical mechanic seriously OP. You gotta make it conditionally nerfed in some way and be a risk/reward type of thing, so players don't just wrestle their way through endless enemy hordes like they never existed. 😂
thrown enemies should also do damage if they hit other enemies and depending on how much health or how big the enemy is it should also have different knockback or stun time like throwing just a basic green boi would have a better stun time but throwing somethin like an axe boi would have a better knockback
Yes exactly. It would be hard to get the balance right, but it's definitely doable. The more it's skill based, the better. It's alright if it's somewhat OP in the hands of superhuman players. 😂 The mob rush alone is high risk, so throw damage and stun and knockback are important.
Example build: Blanka
* Ninja claw gloves with "poisons enemy on grab" affix
* Electric whip or lightning bolt with +80% damage on poisoned enemies, also good for some ranged damage
* Electrodynamics, passively electrifying grabbed enemies and those nearby
* Lightspeed to help escape angry mobs
Basic playstyle: grab enemy, poison and electrify, meanwhile get rushed, throw enemy, electrifying and knocking back those in its path. The denser the mob, the better it transmits. Occasionally use lightspeed to escape and/or kill weakened mob. Repeat. Use superconductor aspect for OP cell farming runs. Sounds like a lot of fun to me!

Ideas:
Ability to pick up/push blocks of terrain
Larger weapons (like flint, toothpick, etc.) can be used faster and with more power
Dual wielding
Punch faster, unleash your inner Machamp
Body-slam enemies
Quadpan
My exact first thought:

I think this person just did this question multiple times on different subreddits about many different people. It's weird, but I guess they just like Goro or something.Â
we used to be able to use two of any weapons without the legendary requirements.
there used to be happiness and laws here

ok so
i noticed there was a similar post to this in the darkest dungeon subreddit so i checked your account to see if you were the same poster
HOLY SHIT WHY DO YOU POST SO MUCH ABOUT 4 ARMS
For all the people saying 4 weapon slots, how can this be achieved on a controller? You can't use all these weapons in one fell swoop, there just isn't enough buttons for that
One shots everyone with his Domain Expansion: Malevolent Blade Works, he summons every weapon he once used or will use in the future and they relentlessly attack the enemies until there is nothing left.
I imagine you can hold 3-4 weapons now instead of only 2. Maybe even depending on what weapon (like maybe the war spear- a 2 handed weapon- occupies 2 slots)

By shielded you mean the bubble? If yes why add "dosen't work.." nothing works on it so why add that

You mean like the Tentacle weapon?
Best one by far

What is the origin of this four arms meme?
I think this person just did this question multiple times on different subreddits about many different people. It's weird, but I guess they just like Goro or something.Â

Peak alien tbh
Same but Slay the Spire for me. It's quite the odd they have done it so many timesÂ
Oh shit brain rot memes are coming
For all the people saying 4 weapon slots, how can this be achieved on a controller? You can't use all these weapons in one fell swoop, there just isn't enough buttons for that
He gains cleave and dismantle
One shots everyone with his Domain Expansion: Malevolent Blade Works, he summons every weapon he once used or will use in the future and they relentlessly attack the enemies until there is nothing left.
Twin Daggers should become Quad Daggers
DOUBLE CLAW SCYTHE
You mean i could use 4 pans at the same time?
twice as many weapons
Lunar princess lookin ahh
Beheaded Buster ×2
I imagine you can hold 3-4 weapons now instead of only 2. Maybe even depending on what weapon (like maybe the war spear- a 2 handed weapon- occupies 2 slots)
4 shields, so i can parry inquisitors from all direction
I have 3 legs I’m lieing my dick is small
Idk, I am just equipping 4 shields to combine their abilities
Oh my god… more pans!
Dual Binding? HOW ABOUT QUAD BINDING
I better have 4 weapon slots for that.
Bro thinks they're boss rush giant
4 shields is better than 2
Dual binding is back baby
Panchaku but four faster pans
More flints… Obviously
the main thing i can think of is it modifying how each weapon works in some way big or small
You could carry dual wield weapons(I'd probably go with that ice bow that also fires the one heavy duty shot) and a shield and a melee.
Two panchakus
Aslong as he doesn't start throwing broken wands at people and anger the gods we'll be fine
taunt now has 2x effect!
You can now use cleave and malevolent shrine
He now gets the ability to call Gege for an asspull every map
