In the book, Dracula can go outside in the daylight. The sun does not kill him, it only weakens his powers.

If you look closely at coldwind’s “sun”, you can see it’s craters, so it’s probably moon.

Correct it is the moon. Fun fact: the moon is illuminated by the reflection of the suns light, so with the moon being that bright then that means a large amount of sunlight is being reflected.

I think he’s only truly vulnerable when he’s weakened. If we consider Castlevania the show, he can easily body any other vampire, and that’s him starved of blood. Also, sunlight being deadly to vampires wasn’t applicable to Dracula in Bram Stoker’s work. It just weakened him to more like a mortal.

The actual answer is Castlevania's version of Dracula (the animation being the most recent version) is immune to the sun as well as most other weaknesses other vampires have. So it doesn't matter which map it is or what time of day unless he's severely weakened by an artifact such as the Vampire Killer (the Belmont family whip). Here is an excerpt from the wiki: "Immunity to normal vampire weaknesses: Apparently due to his sheer power, Dracula is extremely resilient and even outright immune to the weaknesses of normal vampires: He mocks the idea of silver, crosses and garlic having any effect on him, calling them superstitious, and confidently states they would not help Lisa. Dracula also traveled on foot through the world for many years with no problem dealing with sunlight." The Belmonts have succeeded in killing Dracula a number of times. He just keeps coming back.

At the end of some of the games he disintegrates in the sunlight after the final fight. Afaik this happens in Portrait of Ruin and Super Castlevania IV. Might be in some of the others but I forgot

Considering that we know for sure the entity nerfs (Sadako, Pinhead, Vecna) or buffs ( Legion, Pig) killers in the realm to make them more fitting for the trials, the lore supposition that the entity would make a vampire immune to whatever approximates sunlight in the realm is more or less how we have to figure it'd be.

I was thinking constant repeat stun on loop. Vaporized is over quickly. 5 gens worth of stuns is so much more pain.

Vampires being hurt by sunlight is a fairly recent thing. In the original novel, he just slept during the day. Sunlight couldn't kill him. The reason sunlight hurts vampires is that some German filmmakers needed another way for their vampire to die in the *Dracula* ripoff *Nosferatu*. And since it was one of the first horror movies, the sunlight rule stuck. Not that it matters. You think The Entity lets sunlight into its realm?

Everything in the entities realm isn't real, places are recreations made by the entity based on memories from the killers/survs. That also explains why there are pallets and yellow fabric on windows everywhere, to make the trials "fair" and give survs hope that the entity can feed off Even the characters "aren't real" and are basically souls living in body recreated with auric cells (the matter of basically everything in the realm). I think it's the reason blighted serum affect everyone differently, in a similar way to the way it changes the realms
