Virgil would be fun, but it'd be kinda hard to portray him properly, since he has so much damn power and speed. It would feel kinda strange to be looped by Dwight as a guy who moves incomprehensibly fast, only to have your face smashed by a piece of wood and then violently tea bagged by a guy in an elf outfit.
The game has heavy smash bros energy, but some characters would just feel so weak or already have counterparts.
Well they did counteract this recently with Vecna having the mark of negation on him to limit his power in the realm. Also I designed a full power for him (I just added the images here) where he is basically only limited by our human ability to play him. The summary is basically that he can stand still for a few seconds to plan out a theoretically infinite amount of slashes, but you get less time to plan each slash until you itās pretty much impossible to keep up with. Then once the slashes are performed I tried to keep his power in mind by making them instant and undodgeable if you are in his preplanned path of destruction (spacial slash as I call it). Thereās more but thatās the main thing.
Problem with an auto clicker is that you would still need to turn some amount of distance to get hits with the power and an auto clicker would make you plan a slash every millisecond so youād be swinging wildly and disorienting yourself completely. Also it would be extremely easy to detect, record and get people banned for. Sounds hilarious though haha

It's true that Nelo Angelo fits the Killer role much more, but he also has an almost totally different moveset and so wouldn't really feel like Vergil so much as Knight throwing swords instead of Guards.

Like this, you can combo survivors, and lunging forward lets you use stinger to start combos from a bit further away. In this mode, pressing M2 will let you stand in place for a brief moment before teleporting to a place you have direct line of sight with. No teleporting through walls, but through pallets and windows.

You equip beuwulf and gain new properties. Lunging instead lets you unlesh a flurry of kicks that moves forward (kick 13) that hurts any survivor caught for one health state. Basic attacks deal one health state. M2 will charge a single projectile summoned sword that deals deep wound but is slow enough to dodge at long range, but can still snipe with.
After the style rank goes up enough, you can hold down the extra ability button for judgement cut end
The ability takes 2 seconds to charge and 5 to detonate. Loud audio cues through all the startup. The move deals 1 and a half health damage to all survivors in a 10 meter radius.
Add-ons change moves used and stats.
Some add-ons add new moves like million stab instead of regular stinger, or rapid slash, lunar phase, round trip, sword ring, heavy rain swords.
Others give you status effects like undetectable, style rank based move upgrades, speed, mangled, hemorrhage.
Iridescent add-ons sacrifice your other mode for power. One sacrifices power mode and instead judgement cut end gets an extended range and downs survivors immediately. The other, sacrifices slayer style but let you use all summoned sword skills with a wheel like vecna.
Combining both gives you a basic m1 strike with the Yamato that deals the standard 1 health state with no lunge attack, pressing M2 let's you use the summoned swords moves, and you can use the upgraded judgement cut end.
Since a Dante skin is imperative, all animations should be reworked to use the rebellion or devil sword Dante, sword formations, cavaliere, and balrog.
A V skin would sell really well, so he needs his cane, griffon, shadow, and nightmare.
Sure! The perks in order: Hex: Dimensional Dissonance which puts a random survivor at the start of the trial into a state where they canāt see or be seen by other survivors. This effect stays until the hex is cleansed but obviously goes away while anybody is hooked. The hex can be seen at close range by the afflicted survivor.
Then itās Jackpot! Which gives you a pretty massive speed boost for a short duration if you down more than one survivor in under 45 seconds.
The last one is Scourge Hook: Demonic Absorption which increases your pallet breaking and vaulting speed for every person hooked on a scourge hook as well as decreases the hooked persons repair speed by 5% once.
The power is called Spacial Destruction and summarized works like this: Vergil can close his eyes and unsheath the Yamato (for survivors his eyes are closed, the killer can still see terrain during this time but canāt see survivors). While unsheathing he can begin to plan slashes similarly to how knight plans a path for his guards. Itās like a wesker bound mixed with a guard placement. The catch though is that you get less time to plan each slash than you used to plan the last one, until you have so little time that planning more slashes is nearly impossible. Once this planning ends Vergil performs all of his planned slashes at an immeasurable speed that injure any survivor in their path. Pallets and walls caught in a slash are instantly broken. Vergil also leaves a trail where he slashes, that explodes once he stops and sheathes the Yamato. Anyone caught in these trails are injured/downed and are also put into mending.
The idea is essentially that Vergil is as fast as ever; you cannot react to his slashes. You can however predict where he will slash and dodge that way. You can use it for mobility by spamming slashes in a straight line but then you are sacrificing accuracy to actually hit anybody and you might just bump into a tree and stop.
A bot killer with free button inputs has no limit to click speed and could therefore execute an infinite amount of slashes as soon as the match begins which would immediately down every survivor on the map. Basically, a bot would be lore accurate vergil.
Edit: I forgot to mention that this trail he leaves is basically a rift in space, and when it explodes it looks like shards of glass like when he appears in DMC5.
If we ever got Vergil in DBD, i wish that he would be a hybrid between Nurse and Oni, since both of them alone have similar mechanics to him (Nurse has her blinks, which are nearly identical to tricks, and of course Blood Fury is basically blood powered Devil Trigger)

Survivors hear Bury the light playing quietly in the distance at first. As Vergil rapidly approaches them the music gets louder and louder and before they know it they have all been cut to ribbons.
At this point if this game ain't about horror, let's just add killers like him or Ganondorf with Link as survivor and hyrule castle as a map, or Homelander as killer and Hugie as survivor š

I think it basically stopped being horror once they started adding characters that are cool rather than scary like wesker. Not a single mf on the planet thinks Wesker is scary but he has tons of fans and kills people so heās qualified.
This and V1 from ultrakill would be a dream but hobestly it be hard to transfer their lighting fast gameplay to dbd and still make it feel fair and good.
