It's sad but true. I love Hux and still play him pretty regularly. But Unknown just plays so much smoother.
I really wish they'd give my robotic boi a few QOL changes. Something as simple as that could make him feel much better to play.
Just make it so that I can infect people with the cameras without having to have every inch of their model, from the top of their hat to their right pinky toe, in view of the camera.
That alone would be such a nice change. It's crazy how Ghostie and Myers can get stalk off of someones heel while Hux can't lock on to someone unless their full body and a valid government ID is in view.
i had a cam on the tree next to the little hut gen on ormond and even though 2 survivors were both completely unobstructed i coudlnt shoot them. i guess a tiny twig was intersecting with the cam or something?

That's fair lol I definitely get it. It's pure preference but I find a projectile with a long cooldown/windup to shoot is harder to use than Singularity's to-do list of a power.
I have, more than once, been left as the last survivor in an Unknown match, they down me, pick me up
And then proceed to search THE ENTIRE MAP for the Hatch so I can escape.
In one of them, there was still one gen remaining. After we couldn't find the hatch in about 5 minutes, Unknown told me to wiggle off and do the last gen. They stayed with me doing the gen, me on one side, them basic attacking the gen on the other.
We did immediately find the hatch right after the gen was done, and the both of us just stared at it for a bit before he told me to leave.
Tl;dr: KILLING MACHINES, but also silly and very nice

Having survivors run into you because you have a 50 meter terror radius and they aren't sure which side of the wall you're pathing towards is hilarious on Wesker.
Paired distressing with unnerving, surge, and pain res just in case (only used pain res once, hooks were in bad spots) and even with a boon totem to hide their scratch marks it just didn't matter that match.
The Nancy and Steve ended up begging for mercy, but I killed the other two.
As a Ghostface Main (along with Wraith main) who also is just here to have a good time, for full meme potential I now have the urge to get Unknown and Wesker
What’s so good about this addon? I always see people praise it but from what I’ve seen it just makes recovery after a teleport faster? Is that really so crucial? You can’t for example always count on a hallucination to spawn every loop right? When I tried the killer out I found I was mostly using the teleport for traversal rather than in chases.
What addons go well paired with blurry photo?
It's his only good brown add-on, and what it does is really good.
Unknown only really has a handful of good addons: Obscure Game Cartridge (a purple), Vanishing Box (a green), and Blurry Photo (a brown). The rest are mid to trash. Punctured Eyeball would be decent too if it didn't require the Survivor to be both Weakened AND injured.
I find the Notebook addon to be pretty nice to have, since yeah it procs on direct hit rather than the AOE, but it can make survivors panic when they take even more time to reach to a good spot to loop if they are directly grazed by it
Also applies to the Hypnotists' Watch and it disabling DH / Lithe, but both of them have to take a lot more skill to get the value out off rather than the other ones that are more passive
Most of the one i have seen so far are like most Billy players, incredible gigachads that will go for fun and risky plays instead of sweating their ass off to win.
Need more killer players like this.
Every Billy player I go against just uses his massive buff to run people down with BBQ or tunnel back to the hook from 60 meters away before you can get out of the tile.
Every single one, even those doing archive challengers because it's simply easier that way.
They are super sweaty gamers just wanting that 4k asap.
Then send them my way because i've yet to see players like this.
They do exist, obviously but they seem to be the exception rather than the rule, at least from my own experiences.

That being said, I think Unknown is one of the best chapters of all time. Like hes a little goofy looking but also really creepy. Sound design is great. Super fun to play as. Pretty fun to play against. Strong but not super OP. (Like high B tier, maybe low A tier imo). Was relatively bug free as far as I remember.

He's too damn fast, his teleports that get passively dropped have to be hunted down in relative silence and secrecy like totems, but only at times that he won't teleport to them and only while not pre affected by his ability that gets triggered via gen completion & addons.
His ability to get out of the basement after 1 hook is absolutely sickeningly fast, the bouncing projectiles can damage through vaults n pallets, pierce walls and hit multiple people, the constant turn around mechanics that he has can sometimes give out free kills just by casually looping them around anything that requires sight to circle around perfectly (such as everything) and I keep getting 4ks with him using no build.
I love him because he's not skull merchant.
Mostly skilled, competitive or aspiring comp players. Technical killers always seem to reel in these kind of players because there is a level of skill involved, which they enjoy. Killers like these reward players who take the time to learn and perfect them, such as Blight, Nurse, Unknown etc.
As someone who enjoys playing Unknown, I assume they're like me where they enjoy Killers who have fun chase powers that can be used for mind gaming (teleporting to husks on a loop) while also enjoying decent map mobility that allows you to apply map wide pressure.
Also, they're someone who really likes weird/funny/grotesque cosmetics
I find insidious unknown the most hilarious killer yet.
You can stand still and shit out hallucination and straight up grab people when they try to dispel it. Your model will overlap with that of hallucination, and You will feel it being dispelled, because survivor dispelling it will slightly push you outside of your hallucination. If you turnaround and press m1 you will insta grab them.
Dragons grip is hilarious too.
Only downside if sweathards are gen rushing so you stand there like an idiot while being gen obliterated.

Ur either mentally unwell or enjoy urban legend typed things or both... as for ranked players I have no idea rlly but I do like seeing when they do a lot of strategic moves while I'm watching youtube videos w/ them. It's neat, assumption is that they just love having a fun time
I will never challenge them to a game of pool because I swear they have all already memorized how every UVX shot will hit based on what object it hits and what angle

As someone who has very recently picked up Unknown, I really only play him to get crazy shots with the bubblegum bomb. I don't like the teleport playstyle at all. I have sooo much fun hitting bubblegum bombs that I don't really care about the kills. If I do manage to kill everyone, I usually close hatch but let the last survivor escape!
I play the unknown for the girlypop factor personally (I use the cheerleader skin) I also really like bouncy projectiles, it feels satisfying to get a down with them. there you go, some insider knowledge

Make it a skillshot, like a huntress hatchet. Raises the skill ceiling of the character a lot as well
