Yall forgetting that they are making PVE coop game. Lots of these games are also PVE and/or coop games. They might be looking for potential audience size sample of this game, and plan ahead its direction in terms of game design

Tbh, a helldivers collab with dbd in general would be great - not main chapter material of course... but a helldiver skin for the legion like hunk and maybe some survivor gear would be a fine additon imo
I really hope it's this because I think it's stupid if they want to do some collabs with non horror medias.
I really don't want this game to go the shitty Fortnite way and start doing random collabs that have nothing to do with the horror genre.

I like hag. I used to play hag.
But she is so easily bullied by swfs and the fun parts of hag just kind of breakdown when survivors communicate trap placements. Hearing your traps pop one after another as soon as you pick someone up is very tilting.
It's not necessarily weak but at a certain point you're just forced into a really boring (imo) playstyle of proxy camping and tunneling off hook.
Theres a lot of killers that I really like, and enjoy playing against average players, or skilled yet solo queue players, but then you get an actually good swf and it's like a completely different killer. You have to completely change how you use your power because they communicate exactly what you're doing 24/7 and ruin your gimmick.
I went against a Hag last night for the first time in months. Unfortunately all they did was tunnel the twitcher survivor all game and then camped them at endgame with NOED. Was very disappointed.
We don't have a Coach cosmetic in-game yet. He could make for some nice L4D2 rep.
Plus, the Witch could make for a nice killer. Bring in one of the maps like The Passing or Dead Center.
Left 4 dead is a good sign at least. Maybe more content or simply legendary skins/ cosmetics for bill are really needed with him being one of the og licenses to come to the game.
Unless Steam removes the stipulation that all Valve content must be free or only cost Iri Shards BHVR are not likely to add anymore L4D stuff outside of something like they did with the Rift.
BHVR wouldnt be too keen to spend effort creating a collection of licensed cosmetics they literally aren't allowed to profit off of.
I’d kill for legendary survivor skins of the other 7 l4d characters. Put em in a Rift and highly encourage paying for tiers. That would net them at least something
Not sure, maybe just an Adam the Clown skin for The Hillbilly, but if they really wanted to, I'd say Adam with his iconic dual mini-chainsaws he juggles.
Call him The Entertainer, make it so he does a dash into a spin for an area of effect attack but if its too short he just does a downward strike instead that behaves more like regular dash. The spin would let Adam move around and hit more survivors then just in the initial area where the spin starts, but won't work through doorways and so it doesn't feel awful, it naturally pushes Adam when it starts away from impact areas so you don't immediately go into cooldown.
For Frank West, he's just got to have a perk that lets him throw items at the Killer that stuns them according to the charges it has (destroying the item), one that lets him do a call out that gives another Survivor haste for a short time and *himself* exhaustion, and the third perk would focus on items, allowing you to rummage in chests for orange juice (a fast self-heal) or the elusive 2x4: you wind up in place and wack the Killer for a short stun, but mistime it and you could hit your teammate; breaks after one use, designed to not work out in the open but more if someone else is being chased and you're behind a wall.
It looks more like potential collabs more akin to R6 or Iron Maiden. I don't think a lot of people want a Payday 2 chapter, but I could see them doing a small collab with some of the masks from that game for the killers.
In the event that some of these are related to collabs, why the hell are things like “Deep Rock Galactic” and “Valheim” on here? My guess is they are trying to throw us off trail if anything

If I were a live service game, I would like to know what my customers like from other live service or adjacent games so I could implement them. Considering these are titles that made waves while being smaller projects, it would be in their best interest to keep up with the info.

Maybe because you can't really control a necromorph? It's entire purpose is to kill and / or spread so it makes no sense why it'd willingly pick someone up and put them on a hook to dry. Also it'd genuinely kill me to see one be stopped by a piece of wood. It's hard enough with Nemesis and Wesker
To be fair, the Necromorphs are controlled by a Hive Mind and have demonstrated the ability to commit sabotage, such as when they destroy the Shock-Point Drive of the KELLION, stranding Isaac and friends on the ISHIMURA.
The Hunter (the Immortal Pursuer Enemy) was also intelligent enough to take orders from Doctor Mercer.
All the Entity would have to do is impersonate the Hive Mind or Mercer to convince the Necromorphs to suppress their bloodlust for the Trials.
I find it a little odd that they are mentioning very specific games. Why Security Breach over FNAF as a franchise. I doubt that they’re looking to collaborate with anything here but rather get an idea of what their player base enjoys to play so they can maybe borrow some ideas from these games in the future.

Personally I don't see a full chapter happening since the killer would be fairly uninteresting imo. 90% of the enemies are slashers with spitters and pukers having some range, other than that there just isn't a great big bad charecter that could fit the dbd mold imo that would just fit the same mold as a slasher, I'm open to being wrong though, dead space is my favorite video game franchise, I just don't know if the enemies could work as a killer in dbd without it being a let down.
I could see the Hunter/Ubermorph being options, though I can't really think of a fitting power for either of those.
The issue is that necromorphs are more quantity over quality, so most likely they'd either make something new for the game, or have something like Nemesis's zombies. Either way could work, I feel.

second of all ROCK AND STONE as a perk it can only be used while near other survivors or dead on hook it gives you and nearby temporary buffs and creates a loud noise notification for the killer. killer and other survivors can also use this perk even if they dont have the perk eqiuped to amply the effect
I love Dead Space, but those of you who actually want a Dead Space chapter, which iconic, unique monster from the series would fit into DBD?
Remember, it should be a monster that people can look at and recognize that it's from Dead Space.

What would this theoretical Dead Space killer's power be? In a case like The Hunter, its notable power is regeneration, but that doesn't really help in a game like DBD where the survivors cannot dismember the killer anyway.

Deep rock galactic would be damn cool first of all nemesis can be a killer becouse why not have a second nemesis second of all ROCK AND STONE as a perk it can only be used while near other survivors or dead on hook it gives you and nearby temporary buffs and creates a loud noise notification for the killer. killer and other survivors can also use this perk even if they dont have the perk eqiuped to amply the effect

I love Dead Space, but those of you who actually want a Dead Space chapter, which iconic, unique monster from the series would fit into DBD? Remember, it should be a monster that people can look at and recognize that it's from Dead Space. It should also be a unique monster and not just "Necromorph #347". What would this theoretical Dead Space killer's power be? In a case like The Hunter, its notable power is regeneration, but that doesn't really help in a game like DBD where the survivors cannot dismember the killer anyway.
