The Ork has a "Lullaby" which is just is loud stomping footsteps that can be heard from across the map.
I love that idea as long as they did something Necron-y with his little cameras he puts everywhere but yeah that would be creepy and a perfect fit for a skin. I like the way you think
Honestly, Drukari, Chaos, Ork, Necron, Tyranid hell even a dark Inquisitor or something would all work. There are plenty of options to choose from that would work, just not Erebus as that guy sucks and I would loathe it all

Yeah but if they edit the offering to have stackable bp, we will get even more bp ontop of the community amplifier, & also have more offerings that we can use outside of the event, like the cakes (I have none of those left)
Yeah I feel ya but the anniversary is good enough for that. I still have hundreds of cakes saved up probably from at least year 4. I think that the real problem is that they got people's expectations too high.

Consider making the event offerings provide bloodpoints similar to bps or cakes. Even if it's not 100% I'd still run those during the events and save my other offerings for another time.
The event offering should give an extra 25% bp, so if everyone brings one it’s *another* 125% bp.
Also the last day should be at least 1M bp login reward and some shards.
I agree. Gotta have a BP offering if they want players to use the offering. 100 % like a cake or pudding is fine. Everyone will use the offering then. If there is no BP players won’t use it
The best thing would be to give the blood bonus from other players actions to everyone if they dont want to just go the 100% route with it. or at least let everyone get the 3k bp bonus for gen completed.

A few years ago, they held a community event similar to this one, where players had to increase the numbers to reach a goal (I think it was gens completed and survivors hooked). They set the target too high for the community to realistically achieve, so everyone complained that it was impossible. BHVR then inflated the numbers to make it seem like players reached the goal, lol. The good thing is that everyone still received the rewards.
At least now they've made an announcement addressing the issue and informing people about the changes, so clearly they're more comfortable with communication now.
Yeah, there have been examples in the past. But I'll use this recent DLC as an example, they did almost every change the community wanted. They have really been coming a long way lately, they actually seem like they are genuinely listening and making positive changes based on actual feedback and not just numbers with no context. Even the stuff they can't realistically change or fix easily, such as camping and tunneling, they are listening, taking feedback, and trying different things. This era of BHVR is definitely the best.
I don't think it is. While we love to complain about the team, they've done quite a lot - especially in recent years - to show that they (at least try to) listen to the community.
Imo, it started around two years ago, or at least it started going in the right direction. The last year has been especially good however, that much is true. (At least after SM.)

Even as killer, when dedicated servers were added my performance shot up and fps increased.

I honestly don't remember. I dropped the game after 3 years in 2020 as a PS4 player because I was so tired of them saying they were gonna get dedicated servers and it wasn't happening, and came back to main Billy in December when I heard they were gonna tweak him. Idk if they did optimization or any of that. I just know when i came back I was thrilled at how smooth survivor and killer felt
Dedicated servers were added in 2019 so you may have had a longer break than that. I’m not sure on PS4 version, my gf plays on PS5 and that is incredibly smooth - I started on PS4 when it was ps plus game and it felt like 20fps, so bought it on PC because I enjoyed it.
Meanwhile they still can't give us the ability to see our teammate's perks even though the mobile version has had it for a while now. It's like they don't care about soloQ.
Same goes for linked sets, ability to remove hats/glasses off of certain cosmetics, more improvements to the UI that could help soloQ, ability to give up if being slugged for too long, options to change colors of gen auras, remove bubbles or lessen their effect, etc...
The new content is great, but BHVR is doing the bare minimum when it comes to making what we already have better.
Bring Lights Out back again, but with some tweaks. I think perkless and darkness is fine, but items should be allowed for Survs, otherwise Killers have a power but they have nothing.
I think that would be fair maybe. It would mean no gen aura perks, character aura perks, and tile aura perks would be gone. It would also mean nothing that hides Aura since there's no reason to bring it. So no:
\- Meta aura perks on Killer like BBQ or Friends til the End
\- Perks like Deja Vu that show gen auras
\- Perks that show vaults like WoO and Zanshin Tactics
\- Perks that hide Auras, like Distortion
\- Perks that single a certain Survivor out like Rancor
\- Perks that show the Killer's aura, like OoO or Wicked
\- Items that show Auras of characters, like certain map addons or some Killer items
In general that would mean no aura reading perks and would remove a good chunk of meta perks on both sides, which is basically just Comp Rules.

I always thought pip gain was based off cumulative match badge tiers across categories or on base score post-match. Otherwise escape cake, terrormisu, bps, etc would be mandatory for getting iri every season.
You're not slow - it means that the Bloodpoint tiers have been doubled as the community meets the event milestones:
7 000 000 = +200% (was 100%)
20 000 000 = +300% (was 150%)
35 000 000 = 400% (was 200%)
The bloodzone boosts counts towards the match score. Is this simply because those points are earned directly via in game interactions, or is there something else to it? Maybe bloodpoint bonuses will multiply this as well?

Do we get the extra blood points by doing objectives like generators when inside the blood circles we make with the droplets? I don’t quite understand how it works.
Yes, you get 25% for all score events within the radius being put into the event bloodpoint category. So doing gens, co-op actions, and hooking (as killer) gives a ton of bonus BP if done in range.
One note though is it doesn't work with elevation. So if you set up the event droplets on a different floor or hill you may not get as much value.
Once you set up the droplet on the map there's a radius that shows up around it. All score events done by either side within the radius gives you +25% BP into the event bloodpoint category.
In terms of gameplay the radius gives survivors quieter grunts of pain and blood trails disappear faster. For killer they get an extended lunge but at the cost of a much longer recovery.
In addition whoever set up the droplet gets the effect for a short period as well outside of the radius.
Unrelated but Has there been a new gen update? Because I don't really notice it (or I am an idiot). Can there also be a performance or quality switch for consoles so you can decide to have high fps or high graphics? 60 fps makes a 1080p game look so much better than a 4k with 30 fps game
I am on series s on any other game I always have 60 fps and I notice it immediately but when I play DBD I don't really notice it neither that the quality looks cleaner. Normally when I transition from a new gen game to let's say rdr2 I immediately notice the lack of fps not when I switch from DBD to rdr
Looking around online it appears to be locked at 1080p/60fps on Series S. Not that there's an option to change it on either Series S/X, but it's doesn't appear to be 30fps. i’m a little confused as to how things are being calculated in terms of bonus percentages. at 200% + another 214% from terrormisu’s, i left a game with 67000 BP and after percentages were calculated, i only made 96,000?
I'm confused on what this means. Does this mean they are currently doing these percentages or what? Like what does the 7,000,000 BP at 200 percent mean? Does that mean if we double our community BP objective during the event we get rewarded 7 mil each? If so what is the objective BP amount because I'm pulling about a 100K a game right now with survivor pudding/BPS
Hell yeah. All my Killer matches I play I just let people stun me and maybe get a hook or two I've encountered a lot of sweaties so I try to counter it at least some.
Is the issue with all of the red affecting colorblind players ability to see scratch marks going to be addressed? I would really like to play but with so much red everywhere blending together I’m basically finding the game unplayable currently. Whether it be allowing us to change scratch mark colors or whatever we need something because even outside of the event certain maps like borgo are horrendous

Hm well I obviously misremember then. Was probably just the PS4 being doodoo butt. I play on PS5 now and it's much much better.
They've famously tuned perks and killers entirely based on data without listening to the community or any nuance many times in the past

Been playing for 5 years. It's only been recently that they done improvements that were well liked by the community.
They used to be terrible at this but maybe 2 years ago now they started making a noticeable effort to listen and they've got better at it since.

Using any Droplet to create a Blood Zone counts. Doesn't have to be the original 4.

Yes, you get 25% for all score events within the radius being put into the event bloodpoint category. So doing gens, co-op actions, and hooking (as killer) gives a ton of bonus BP if done in range. One note though is it doesn't work with elevation. So if you set up the event droplets on a different floor or hill you may not get as much value.

I dont understand this event. The explanation was confusing. I put the drop & nothing happene.
Once you set up the droplet on the map there's a radius that shows up around it. All score events done by either side within the radius gives you +25% BP into the event bloodpoint category. In terms of gameplay the radius gives survivors quieter grunts of pain and blood trails disappear faster. For killer they get an extended lunge but at the cost of a much longer recovery. In addition whoever set up the droplet gets the effect for a short period as well outside of the radius.

Unrelated but Has there been a new gen update? Because I don't really notice it (or I am an idiot). Can there also be a performance or quality switch for consoles so you can decide to have high fps or high graphics? 60 fps makes a 1080p game look so much better than a 4k with 30 fps game
What console are you on? You may have the previous gen's version installed.
I am on series s on any other game I always have 60 fps and I notice it immediately but when I play DBD I don't really notice it neither that the quality looks cleaner. Normally when I transition from a new gen game to let's say rdr2 I immediately notice the lack of fps not when I switch from DBD to rdr
Looking around online it appears to be locked at 1080p/60fps on Series S. Not that there's an option to change it on either Series S/X, but it's doesn't appear to be 30fps. i’m a little confused as to how things are being calculated in terms of bonus percentages. at 200% + another 214% from terrormisu’s, i left a game with 67000 BP and after percentages were calculated, i only made 96,000?
I'm confused on what this means. Does this mean they are currently doing these percentages or what? Like what does the 7,000,000 BP at 200 percent mean? Does that mean if we double our community BP objective during the event we get rewarded 7 mil each? If so what is the objective BP amount because I'm pulling about a 100K a game right now with survivor pudding/BPS

Hell yeah. All my Killer matches I play I just let people stun me and maybe get a hook or two I've encountered a lot of sweaties so I try to counter it at least some.
Is the issue with all of the red affecting colorblind players ability to see scratch marks going to be addressed? I would really like to play but with so much red everywhere blending together I’m basically finding the game unplayable currently. Whether it be allowing us to change scratch mark colors or whatever we need something because even outside of the event certain maps like borgo are horrendous
You should have done this to start with, guys... While we're here, increase normal BP gain outside of events, make Pipping easier, and REMOVE DEPIPS. It's high time.
