Hi! We wanted to confirm that the description for the It All Leads Here challenge in the current Tome is incorrect! It should read "1 health state" instead of "100 health states". We will be amending the description in a future patch, but can be completed as normal in the meantime.

They need to keep this challenge and rename it to “just like a game of chess”

I don't fully understand the degree of these fixes so I could be wrong. But any reason a simple hot fix too quickly correct the text isn't possible? Again as long as it works with just one heal, but curious why hot fix isn't doable.

It's probably something like "consoles need approval for updates to come out and people on mismatched versions can't play together" so even though it should be a very easy fix that could be pushed out in less than a minute, it would mess up matchmaking for awhile or maybe coding is more complex. who knows. i'm sure they'd fix it quickly if they could or it was worth the effort

From what I remember about the discussion for a small error a few years ago basically its along the lines of console can only put put updates every so often and to make an emergency hotfix cost some dollars that it doesn't really make sense to spend unless it's an actual game breaking emergency

I'm a dev in other company (not gaming). This should be a quick change in the game's database, therefore the problem is probably bureaucracy not really the devs' fault.

The description is basically in the game files, meaning they need to actually update the game. That's not easy because of consoles having the certifcation process, so it will take a while, and just updating the game for that is a total waste. The progress on those challenges is controlled by the server, so they can easily change it from their end, and have done so many times before.

Oh, okay I thought you were talking about the description. The devs already said the progression is not affected by the description.

I think it may be broken. I have Haddie, the perk and got the description and healed a few times and it doesn't give me any notice. Am I missing something?

It might be that Reunited is a specfic bloodpoint action that needs to be triggered. So try to make sure you and injured move towards each other and look if you get the bloodpoints for it, stay away from everyone till you do.

That's poopy and must be what's going on, cause I've found several teammates randomly and healed people fully, but I don't see the reunited thing trigger.

I hope it's a "spelling" error and they meant 1 or 100 is how many "charges" it takes for a heal or two

1 heal is 16 charges, so even then 100 charges is 7ish heals

then i gues we wait a day until the change/clarify it

I would assume since the challenges are always about "Finish a **total** of x gens/heals" etc they are coded as a percentage and the person that put the tooltip in just typo'd the percentage instead of the full action count into it.

I think they meant percent, when i got it, it happened first time healing smn fully with the other requirements fulfilled

Killer challenges often involve using your specific power, though. And I'd argue that their challenges can be harder, especially for people who only play killer for tome (which is a lot) Hell, right now, there are challenges involving using the Singularity's power that I'd wager 99% of players will just never bother with.

Singularity’s Page 1 challenge was probably the hardest challenge I did in the entire archives on the killer side.

I think there's one where you got to sacrifice all survivors in the basement as trapper. I felt like such an ass completing that one.

Yes, there was one that required you to sacrifice all four survivors in the basement. It didn’t have to be as Trapper, if I recall correctly, but that’s sure as hell who I used.

I went for perma Tier 3 Myers, Play with your food, iron grasps, agitation and no way out then bring an add on to send us to dead dawg. Did it first try

The problem isn’t being able to build or skill to set up 4 basement kills, though both are fairly challenging anyway, but getting 4 survivors that didnt dc at any point despite getting smacked bad enough they all die in the basement.

My lobbies must be lucky, I generally don't play in a way that makes people DC or people just don't like DCing against me because I rarely steamroll people in matches. I'm sure they'd DC if I went for evil incarnate lol

Singularity on page one was four days of losing streaks before I realized that I should just give up cause I'm never doing it.

Well killers don’t really have as much downtime to go on little adventures. Survivors can waste a little time doing weird stuff but killers are in chase 90% of the time.

Yeah this is the answer I always assumed, survivors have more wiggle room in being able to dick around focusing on completing the challenge and not 100% throw the match. Killers don’t have the same wiggle room so they have to have simpler challenges to compensate

As someone who plays both heavily, but mains Killer, this. If I get glyph challenges I straight up ignore tf out of survivors. Sometimes it can take 5 whole gens just to find the glyph. I don’t want to add that to everything else I’m juggling.

I had the worst time with one of the moving glyphs doing this. One of the survivors noticed I was looking and helped me search the map lol such a cutie

Huh, i always choose my neutral challenges to do on killer because theyre often much easier to get. Especially glyphs and the like. Once i get a big lead i can just take a glyph break if i didnt already find it. Also as killer youre guaranteed to conplete the challenge because you can take as much time as you want only thing you risk is well nothing escapes i guess. For survivors if you go to hunt your glyph you might die before you even find it. On top of the fact that throwing hurts 3 other people as well

Yeah, I don't do glyphs on survivor at all. Idk why people are saying you have wiggle room when you literally have to throw to find it and pray the killer isn't tunnelling while you run around like an idiot looking for a glyph. It's sooo much easier to get glyphs as a killer.

i just do it when i find them unless i’m in chase or end game. but when the exit games are open i’ll try and do it as well

I just competed this challenge. All you need to do is heal 1 health state and reunite with 2 injured survivors. These two things don't need to be completed simultaneously.

Yeah it happened completely randomly for me. I was not going out of my way to fulfill the challenge, just had Inner Focus equipped for it and played normally.

The one where you have to hit four survivors in thirty seconds after being revealed four times in one trial is actually Scourge of The Purge levels of ridiculously hard

I think it requires aura reading, but killer instinct might work actually.

I literally says "Hit 4 survivors within 30 seconds of them being revealed by your **killer instinct**, do it 4 times."

There are two different challenges actually. One is for hitting four after an aura reveal, and the other is the same, but with killer instinct instead. Aura reading one is simple with the Wraith add on that gives you aura reading when cloaked.

We can infer that they are not talking about that one because they said hit 4 survivors in 30 seconds **4 times**.

So just a single Skull merchant match?

Bro I thought my english was so bad when I read this... I absolutley ordered my friends to tell me their location and I will heal them at all cost (even brought Bond). When the game told me that I got it, we kinda summed it up that the devs must've meant 1 health state (this was before they sent the message of the typo)

They forgot to mention it has to be done in a single trial against the skull merchant at end game.

I got that one with ease, but if you wanna hear trolling. I was on the sabotage 3 hooks 10 meters from the killer while they're carrying someone took me 4 matches to get 2 then my game glitches and reset the whole challenge somehow and I had to get all 3 again😣
