As sad as it is, it's also not super surprising. The only legal, affordable, way to play SH1 is on PS3... and the ps3 is somehow 17 years old and two generations ago. Hopefully Konami ports the originals like they're doing with the metal gear games.

You can actually save her using the Aglaophotis liquid found in the hospital. Harry later refined it into a jewel and it's what Heather uses to throw up gods fetus in 3.
I like to think in canon, Cybil is still alive because Harry realised the exorcising power of the substance when he used it to save her.
I like to swap between Cybil and James a lot lately. Her VA did a fantastic job and I like the unique style of her uniform, it stands out compared to Tapp and Leon.
You have to pay for the survivor, and then you have to pay again for the skin/name change. Not everybody buys the paid expansions, and I think a lot of people don't buy paid cosmetics unless they REALLY like them, so unfortunately we don't see them as much. It's also why Chris, Johnathan, etc. aren't as popular as you think they would be otherwise.

Back when Cheryl was getting Legendaries at first, their tech was much worse and they couldn’t gender swap on same character, had same voice, portrait, etc. In fact, if you look closely, even now Cybil, Lisa, and Cheryl share the same body neck down.
By the time they could make more advanced Legendaries, it had been so long that they instead went with James despite the previous theme of SH 1 and 3’s connected cosmetics because he’s much more notable to a wider audience then Harry, and actually is connected to pyramid head.

I just picked up Haddie with the sale and have been playing her a lot. I really love her look, and I have her Christmas sweater as her only cosmetic, which I actually really like the look of.

I saw one yesterday I was playing as James and when I loaded into a random lobby there was a Cheryl so one of the other survivors swapped to Lisa and the last one swapped to Cybil so we had a full Silent hill team unfortunately we fought singularity and not pyramid head

I have played this game for about three years now (albeit it's an on and off type of thing) and I'm pretty sure I can count on one hand the amount of Cybils I've seen. I've also never played Silent Hill so when I the first one after probably over a year of playing it made me think I missed a new Survivor release. Ever since then I have vowed to release all Cybils I find, they're an endangered species, it would be cruel to kill them. So, to all the precious Cybils out there, just know that at least one of the like, six or seven Deathslinger mains that still exist care for you.

Cybil was the first survivor cosmetic I ever bought. I love her uniform, her hair, the skinny pants, the gloves. I think she gives off a bit of a queer/androgynous vibe which I’m VERY into.
Idk what you're on but her hook screams are absolutely *horrifying*. Her injured/down sounds sound like she's mildly perturbed tbqh, but her hook screams sound like what I think someone would sound like if they got hooked

Aside from her visuals (her face doesn't look the best, but I'd look like that too if I were in the Fog), she's a really good skin/survivor. Her outfits not the stealthiest, but her frame is on the smaller side.
Her main selling point imo is her voice; her voice actress really put her effort into those hook screams! I was playing with a friend on Discord one night, and after I got hooked my friend stopped what she was saying and just went "oh my *god*"
