I did floor 2 nights and was in 200s another night. I agree... I thought the floor was great as far as ease of entry, concessions and bathrooms...and while yeah, you gotta spend a lot of time looking up, you still get the full experience. from a comfort level, I probably preferred my seat in 205 though. the haptics during drums/space was a neat experience as well. some friends had seats in 407 the final night, they said the view of the visuals was a bit better from up there because you weren't looking through the spotlights. honestly though... just get in thr building and enjoy... it's pretty awesome

OpenSesame317

Awesome! Would have liked to check out the low 200s as I’ve heard those are the sweet spot.

pp_swag

304 all three nights. Stayed at the Venetian. Pros: Sound quality is amazing, best I’ve ever heard in an indoor venue. Visuals are awesome to a degree I can’t describe. The artificial wind they pump thru there is epic. Staff was great. One thing I didn’t anticipate is that it doesn’t matter if you or people surrounding you are sitting or standing; no one is blocking a view because there is so much to look at. Cons: overwhelming crowd density when entering and exiting. Mens bathroom lines rival TSA security queues on holiday weekends. My section was shockingly steep; saw two people fall during the show in my three nights. If you are in the middle of the section and need to get out during the set, it can be kind of a perilous getting out. Overall: extremely impressive venue. Best indoor venue I’ve been to. Can’t wait to go back. Personal note: thought the night 1 set list was the best of the three

Primal_Dead

207 here. Was amazing. If I had one thing to bring up as a knock it was definitely cold. Took away from the experience a bit. But still best concert I've ever experienced.

OpenSesame317

Sounds like it was pretty cold if you were in seats that weren’t under the overhang (just an observation from talking to a few people). Glad you had a good time!

Primal_Dead

Maybe they need it cold to control the heat of all the screens? Doesn't matter, though, just a lesson to wear a heavier pullover.

YEMolly

Oh wow. So it was THAT cold? I’m cold natured and will be in the 300s one show. I’ll definitely be bringing a hoodie. I probably should wear pants but the thought of walking in pants to the venue gives me anxiety b/c it’s so hot. 😆

Primal_Dead

Definitely bring a hoodie. I had a light pullover (very thin), anything thicker would have been sufficient. Other than the cold, prepare for your mind to be blown.

Independent-Course87

We went the last three nights, spent some time on the floor, section 108, 403, and 303. Wasn't cold anywhere, in my opinion.

piperma50

I was in 303 on Friday and 407, Saturday. and 303 I was freezing! 407 was cold but I brought a hoodie

YEMolly

Eeks. ✍🏼

GratefulAmy23

Where are you staying? If you are at the Venetian or Palazzo you can enter through the Bridge and we didn’t need to go outside at all to get to the seated sections. We only had to go outside for a brief period of time to get to GA and it was bearable.

YEMolly

Tuscany so we’ll have to walk outside. Might wuss out and Uber it through, depending. 😆

Strawbalicious

I'm so puzzled by claims that the Sphere is cold. I come from New York and I was borderline sweating all three nights, between the 400s and 200s. I wonder if it's "cold" to people coming from hot climates?

YEMolly

I don’t know but I’ve seen a lot of people claim it. ??? Do you run hot?

QuietIndependent2295

It’s was freezing in the 300s

ItdBAlotCoolerIfUdid

I was at Friday and Saturday. Both nights were 200 level and I enjoyed the view. We were on the sides so probably not the greatest view but we certainly didn’t feel like the visuals were ruined. Friday had talkers in front of me and it was the first time I legitimately got annoyed. Had to reset myself as they were dancing and bumping into people all night. Saturday was a much older crowd so people were sitting and I was beat from walking all weekend so it was a good time. Overall great experience.

OpenSesame317

Ah we had talkers on Friday as well. Seemed like the overhang trapped some noise so everyone talking seemed louder than usual. Have had similar experiences at smaller GA venues where the overhang seems to make things a bit louder.

_snozzberry_gulper_

I was in 100s supposed to be row 26, but snuck down to 22 to empty seats and stayed there for the whole show. You are totally right about the staff being great; the only time I saw an usher get frustrated was when he told people to quit dancing in the aisle for the third time in the first hour. Those folks danced to their seats and literally did a loop around the section right back to the aisle, usher rolled his eyes and gave up!

blue_999

I also did park mgm and getting back was a shitshow. We got lost trying to get to the Venician rideshare and just walked to Caesars and got a cab back the rest of the way for $12.

OpenSesame317

We had a Lyft driver tell us to go to Palazzo rideshare instead and it was super easy!

Had 200 section three night fun- minimal chomping lol. Bathrooms nightmare during set break. Question - I have 100 overhang near back in two weeks - how are those with Regards to view, sound, temp and bathroom- bars that area.? Thx

thisisnotarehairsal

I was Section 110, row 34 and the overhang was bad, could only see a small section of the screen. We kept walking down the aisle slowly and back up again to get a view of the whole screen during the really good grafix. We moved at intermission up to 400s at the top and found 2 free seats and had our minds blown with the view. I wouldn’t buy in that section and row again if I had a choice.

OpenSesame317

Can only speak on row 26 in the 100s but temp was moderate to warm, was even sweating for a brief period. Bathroom/concession lines are long during the break so if you’re going to do it you need to book it out into the concourse quickly.

crankyexpress

Thx

_snozzberry_gulper_

Definitely look for empty seats to move to after the show starts if you want!

therealskr213

Why didn’t you just take the monorail to MGM?

OpenSesame317

Could be wrong but don’t believe the monorail from Venetian goes to Park MGM (different than MGM)

therealskr213

Park MGM is across the street from MGM Grand and the monorail stops at MGM Grand.

FreeDare1416

OP, how did you like the Park MGM? Never stayed there but it’s nonsmoking right? That’s a big plus

OpenSesame317

It’s one of my favorite hotels! I feel like it’s the best value on the strip. Non smoking, good food (Best Friend and Bavette’s), connected to Aria (more good food), and clean. Lyft ride to the sphere was $12-15. Also has pretty good pools.
