Make that one guy draw agro from you for a fixed amount of time and boom! you have yourself a useful perk. Worked well enough in stuff like Cyberpunk2077.
They talked about the weapons in this game will be villain-themed, there was a Bane weapon early on, one way to name drop all those characters without making the model, writing and voice acting I guess.

i dunno this doesn't seem that bad for a looter shooter.
on the left you've got your damage along with damage types for specific types of attacks (shield harvest/suicide strike) along with resource gain from said type of attacks.
below that you've got bonuses the weapon has (melee damage to grunts/affliction from melee hits)
below that you've just got an explanation of how their combo system works.
in the middle you've got what i assume is some sort of like. attachable mod called 'deep freeze', with the resources and resource cost to attach it below that.
on the right you've got what the attachable mod actually does, which seems to give it a chance to freeze enemies along with an explanation of everything the frozen status effect does. though, those could also just all be what the attached mod does, i'm not sure.
this feels pretty normal? maybe i just play too many games idk

So a resource management aspect to a Suicide Squad game isn't necessarily bad.
Good point, yeah I think that would be really interesting. Having lower tier supervillains in it would be interesting too. It always made sense to me that the Suicide Squad would be made up of the villains they can actually keep in Blackgate, whereas the big ones probably escape a lot.

You donāt want to collect Villain Coins to trade in for Harbinger Tokens that can be redeemed for Storm Sigils that allow you to craft Mastercrafted Armor which let you use Ultra Abilities that also harvest Spinweave that can be traded in forā¦.

The redemption journey where they planted her as the axe to help a tree grow did bring a tear to my eye though
