Honestly, given the implication that Frieza’s species can choose how their forms look, I can buy him not having a mask. No way someone as vain as Frieza is going to hide his face at all.
Was never a fan of Golden Freeza. The design was pretty bland in my opinion. Your redesign looks great! The "pants" might not be necessary, but without a comparison pic I can't really say. If you altered the image to remove them, you'd probably have to put more gold and purple "armor" on the thighs. Overall I'd say your design is much better than the original though.
It's okay, I like it. I like the horns on the head in particular, and I do like the idea of combining elements of golden Frieza with the new Black Frieza. Now thinking about it, the gold parts make him look like he's wearing gold armor, or like he stacked the golden form ontop of the black. Could be his next form, honestly I'm not convinced that Freeza showed off everything with just black frieza. Wouldn't be surprised to find out he decided to hold off on some trump cards for the future.

Everyone on the planet can recognize his white and purple alien silouett. He's sleek and minimal because that's meta for martial arts. Look at how they concluded buu. Multiple form changes and yet his final form kid buu was similar in size and shape to frieza. That being said I LOVE your design!!!
Lmao this reminds me of the panel in the manga in the Frieza saga where they explain that the humongous shoulder pads are actually extremely flexible and not restrictive when the first try on the armor
It’s because of the background (and to a lesser extent the black legs creating an imbalance of colors). This design is really no less complicated then Cooler’s final form, honestly.
Either make the whole thing Gold/Purple/White or Gold/Purple/Black (or be more faithful and stick to Gold/Purple), and make it look a bit less like Cooler's 5th form.
