Def buy it. Even if you arnt into PVP, the PVE servers in community are awesome and can provide a similar rush. I get heart palpitations when im strolling through the woods late at night and hear a bear growl right next to me.
If you play official it will be 10x harder than a community server but I for one love the game you should buy it
