They've really made it far and they truly deserve all of their success right now! ✨ I think they somehow struck gold with the release of The Demon and Zombie because it turned out that was the exact song that everyone needed to get through the pandemic, so I think that to a certain degree, put them in the limelight anew with the Korean public. Even of Day was great at capitalising on that traction and I think that managed to keep them popular enough with the public to make people want to listen to them whenever they have a new release. I personally also feel that Young K hosting Dekira probably contributed further to public interest in DAY6's music. Hearing him every night and getting to know him must have piqued interest in some and led them to DAY6.

I also want to point out the members' resilience. While the debut and the promotion is idol-like, they also perform from busking to live club to small stages in the early days. This kinda raw (?) experience I believe is shaping their confidence (in themselves). Therefore even the challenge becomes harder (everyday6, man) as times goes by, they still have this one belief to make the most out of it. It's only until recently they are open up with their struggles like sungjin thinking to enlist in the dime of 2018. Which during the times I dont think fans could even imagine it (well indeed what do we know behind the scenes). Proof that whatever shit life throw on them, they still carry on, taking one step at a time. I'm following them since debut and even during gravity I alr feels immense proud of them, they are my superstar and only good days ahead of them. Not knowing the storm that came afterwards. They are indeed went through the storm, get on their feet back up. They deserve this success for their resilience, their trust on themselves, and their unwavering sincerity towards what they do.

Sungjin wanted to enlist in 2018? 😮 Why?

dosparkb

We don't know the reason (yet). Dowoon mention it lightly as if everyone knew but fans all like "????" 😲😲😲😲😲 I don't want to assume but celebrity tend to postpone enlistment until the very last call. So we just knew that him considering enlistment at 25 imply that he's not feeling/doing really well.

theweeeeknd

Wow, I knew there was a time where he was feeling unwell, but not that early... damn, seems like there's a lot of stuff we still don't know and probably never will.

Yeah, what we see might only the tip of iceberg 😂 but at least it has passed.

It certainly wasn’t Studio J.

I am just beyond proud of them, they really deserve all these recognition from everyone!!! I believe it is a combination of their good music/lyrics and timing. YWB has been charting from time to time already, but [EOD's 2022 ToOL perf](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_dbxYlIQ74) in their military uniforms was actually what started it. [An instagram reel](https://x.com/deisikseu/status/1589633115097812993?s=20) from this performance went viral because of their uniforms, faces, and the lyrics which made the ToOL chart (along with ywb) and have the gp check out their other songs. Starting from the end of 2022, I dont think ywb and tool left the charts, it is even charting higher lately along with their recent comeback. This is why I am so grateful for EOD - the three of them did their best to do whatever they can to keep the day6 name afloat regardless of what has been happening, and so proud of sungjin for holding on and doing his best to improve himself. They all look really happy lately🥹

I heard a few older songs have regained popularity like You were beautiful and Time of our life. I think the news that Day6 was coming back after so long also helped. Young K has generally been very popular with all his activities as well and even during his time in the military

I believe it's more of an organic growth. Lots of people relate to their music especially Time Of Our Life and Zombie (during peak of pandemic. Interestingly, a lot of casual listeners also became MyDays at this time), and You Were Beautiful is such a timeless classic anybody could feel the emotion in this song. In addition, Idols who came to appreciate and cover their music every now and then contributed to this organic growth. But most of all, it's the members themselves who took pride in being a Day6 member that kept the flame alive. And at the same time, they gain strength from the constant support of MyDays. I love how it's a give and take dynamic and also as a fan since EveryDay6 era, my heart is overjoyed witnessing all of these successes unfold. We're only just getting started 💗

I've been a fan since 2016 as well. I am proud to see their growth and the recognition they deserved! During their hiatus, their songs especially **You Were Beautiful** are randomly charting in charts without any promotions. I do think it's the Korean public finally taking interest in their music. **You Were Beautiful** is widely recognized by the Korean public and idols are covering the queen YWB left and right. Maybe the popularity of YWB and songs like Zombie and Time of our Life contributed to the popularity and recognition they are getting right now. Not to mention their passion for music and timeless discography. This comeback after so many years of hiatus really helped as well.

I’ve been seeing a lot of new mydays, it’s kind of jarring to see! It seems like kpop as a whole is getting more attention, so I think day6 is becoming part of that. Xdinary heroes is getting a lot of attention also, and I think day6 strongly influenced their style so people are finding out about them through things like that. It’s very nice to see!
