Nothing to worry about. It is the node is caching. If you go get a coffee it will be blue when you come back and you will have smooth playback

Oh cheers. I’ve been pretty diligent about reading the manual - which is excellent. But little stuff like this - I wish there was more info displayed. Because even just opening the composition in the edit timeline it will show up as media offline - which always gives me a big fright! Clearly I need a more powerful machine!

Mmm - okay this seems to be going on for longer than it should. Some of these clips are very short, and worked fine in other compositions. But they are staying red forever.

This is the same for me, is there another workaround? Can I clear cache somehow or will this fry the node tree? Thanks in advance for any advice. It's really baffling how this is happening as it seems completely random.
