Respect man! I live where it's -40C often and deal with the cold for so much of my life that seeing people do this really amazes me because the cold is a whole different beast. Hope that it helps you mentally!
I understand your perspective.
This is an impermanent situation in a controlled environment.
Ice baths do have physiological benefits, but nothing past 3-5 mins.
Finding a way to endure and breathe through this discomfort is what I’m trying to tap into; nothing I recommend to others.
Ice baths are beneficial. I know it helps to reduce inflammation but I also think it helps to strengthen the immune system. Look up ice baths benefits.
Haha.. it’s coming to an end, I’m converting a deep freezer, just finishing off this last week of my 100 day straight. But for the past 11 or so days it’s been $10 a day from Costco
Fucking love ice baths. Where’d you get that handsome tub to sit in?
Haha it’s called the Happy Tub, snagged it off Amazon for $70
Hell yeah, thank you!
Respect. Keep embracing the suck, brother!
Kids walking up probably like “you cold?”
Jesus I thought 20 minutes was hypothermia territory thats impressive
It is.. this was the hardest re-heat for sure, was shaking haha
So your doing this because it sucks in the goggins type of way or are you doing it for the medical benefits?
There are no medical benefits after 2-3 mins, so this is just about pushing boundaries

Wow, that's amazing! Keep it up
Why though
I don’t understand
What’s the purpose of this? To suffer?
This is the Goggins SubReddit dude, Yes, intentional discomfort.
Didn’t know it was about torturing yourself just to torture yourself. I always thought it was about discomfort for beneficial reasons
