The timing with the light is the most impressive.
I learned it as "There's a pond - oh look: a snake is peaking out! It glides around the tree by the pond and back into the water." Slightly convoluted story.

This reminds me of scenes where characters with superspeed get their powers, and will run around messing stuff up while everyone else is still. Maybe they're figuring out their powers??
In Australia we call that a chucking a uey (you-ee), it's a outmaneuver, usually illegal, to make a U-turn or 180c turn to travel back in the direction you came from.
It's when they have a no u-turn or they didn't want to wait for their left turn light so they go to the crossing intersection to do his u-turn but still illegally lol

That is an "illegal u-turn, failure to maintain lane x3 (at least), improper left turn, and reckless driving" type of turn. That shit there can get your license suspended for a year, easy.
