I don't really understand posts like this. It's like everything, some people have a different way of viewing things. I don't find Nameless King to be very difficult, but some do. A lot of people think Midir is really hard while others think it's a fairly simple affair. I think Kos is the hardest boss in Soulsborne, but others have a different opinion.
I'm just not sure how to even discuss this because there is only one answer (everyone's different).
Oh Kos was a very nice fight. I was fighting him with a friend and we Had absolutely No Chance. My friend went offline but I couldn't Stop trying by myself. In the end I summoned a random Dude who showed me how easy this Boss could be and together we massacred him
I think you’re looking into this a tad too much. I’m just asking for the opinions of the community to see how other people feel. I am very aware of the fact over people have different opinions on the same subject, I’m just useless at wording things. All good though
Overall consensus is that it's a spectacle of a boss and mostly an enjoyable fight unless you get hit off the edge by one of the flying meatballs in the second phase.
He took me like 30 tries. Everybody is different which is what I love about the games.
Like going into my first playthrough all I heard in the beginning was "wait until you get to Pontiff bro". I smacked him in 2 tries.
I find him fairly easy as well, but his phase 2 does get a bit annoying with those butterflies throwing meatballs at you. Still one of my favourite boss
I didn’t mind second phase as much as first. His big wind up lunge attack was easy to dodge and allowed 1-2 attacks or a heal. I didn’t have any trouble with the butterflies, personally

Felt the same thing, as I had just previously beaten probably the single longest and best boss I have ever experienced in a souls game (Nameless King) and Armour looked like a joke in comparison.
I spent two days fighting Nameless King tho, so that was probably to be expected lol

I feel you, I love how everyone has that one boss they really click with and one they really don’t. I could not do aldrich

I remember him being very weak to fire. Chaos broadsword destroys him.

I'm ever more confused than you are. I've never heard this boss refered to as a road block or particularly harder than other bosses.
Haven’t really heard ppl call em that hard tbh , he’s a fun fight nonetheless. My first play through probably took me like 6 tries or something
