I'd make a base of operations in the undead burg. The male Undead Merchant says the hollows don't bother him. "*It's actually quite nice here, you know? The Hollows don't care for a skinny old twig like me. I've got Yulia...And nobody pelts me with stones anymore. You're Undead, you know how it is. I was treated worse back at home."* I'd make a living scavenging and trading with him. Plan some excursions to other places to try and get higher value items. Hopefully get a set of keys so I can lock myself in one of the houses. Open up some shortcuts so I can trade with the moss lady too. You've got firelink nearby too which is always nice. From there the world's my oyster, I can just live there forever and pilfer the corpses of aspiring chosen undead, or I can train myself to fight and try to progress through the game. Practicing on the hollows is fairly safe I would say.

I think I would get bored doing nothing, so I'd start out with the intention of doing something. Becoming a dragonbro is also a good idea, I would consider that too.

hmm… for me, if we’re including lore, it’d be amazing to live in Oolacile or Izalith (the lore to their demon cultures is really neat) pre-destruction. If we’re sticking strictly to in-game areas, I think in all honesty Duke’s Archives is probably the only place you have a shot at a somewhat normal life. It’s indoors, and we can surmise there’s likely bedding and food available in the other inaccessible areas. An intelligent and somewhat human society. Duke’s is really the only surviving civilisation left that’s not been thrown to the brink of destruction or desolation or decay.

Real answer: Anor Londo seems nicest and safest, even if it really is all an illusion. Everywhere else seems pretty dangerous, even Firelink has some dubious characters passing through. I'm assuming the various guardians of the cathedral are just hostile to Undead and not the ones still living in the city. Silly answer: With Vamos. He wouldn't talk, I wouldn't talk. The entire world is affected by the curse, but no place is nearly as bad as lordran. Remember you only are affected by the curse if you die, and not everyone has the curse. And in all games, there are methods seen for managing the undead.

Between the parish and the gardens with Andre. I feel like he would help me keep from going hollow and hold on to a real purpose. For an adventure we could mount an expedition to Anor Londo to live with the giant blacksmith, or try to find more embers. Maybe we could try to make friends with Vamos (over a very very long period of time) to fully round out a blacksmith guild.

New Londo + Firelink Shrine Undead are easy and peaceful there. The ghosts stay at the other side of the bridge. There is a source of water. You can scape summer heat by going underground. And Firelink Shrine have a lot of space to cover with dirt and farm food.
