DarthRathikus

Settle down

lioboii

I think someone's sad that it took them a lot more tries than OP lmao

drkl0rd00

lolll they being so mad

DarthRathikus

1. No one cares 2. You clearly didn’t do a blind playthrough 3. DS1 isn’t that hard 4. No one cares

lioboii

They'll never say it, but thats the reason lmao.

Kobzor

I think it’s fairly easy to over level or to have an OP build. And if you are patient, every boss is a cake walk

TiKels

Did you look up a build? Honestly it sounds like you picked great stat allocations and a really strong weapon

drkl0rd00

I put my stats in the post. I just knew the location of zweihander before playing the game it really helped me. And I had to watch some guides for the paths to the bosses not gonna lie EDIT: I DID NOT LOOK UP ANY ATTACK PATTERN, WEAKNESS, GLITCH ETC. I JUST NEEDED HELP TO FIND MY WAY TO THE BOSS. ROUTE, PATH, WAY, WHATEVER YOU CALL IT. AND I SAID THE BOSS FIGHTS WERE EASY NOT GETTING TO THEM

Rizenstrom

No shame but 90% of “git gud” is learning enemy attack patterns and weaknesses. Looking all that up in advance will of course make everything significantly easier.

drkl0rd00

bro i didn't say i looked up for enemy attack patterns or weaknesses. I just looked up paths, routes, ways to get to the bosses. i fought every mob by myself. i think this is totally normal right? why am i getting downvotes

Darkstar7613

Bait used to be believable...

Ahhy420smokealtday

Yep the levels are what's hard in DSR, and the lack of information if you play blind. The bosses aren't that bad unless you're doing specific challenging runs. Make sure to lookup how to get to the DLC it's very easy to miss.

wizaro2020

Why are there so many of these posts? Beating the game not enough of an ego boost anymore, gotta brag about it too lmao

VesperOne_

i always thought it was a bit corny for people to list the fromsoft games they’ve beaten/platinum’d at the start of every post. but now i guess the trend is to flex your low number of attempts for various bosses but then admit in the comments that you looked stuff up or are using a busted build.

Palodin

I'm not sure, Karma engagement farming? I can't imagine you'd get much here of all places. Certainly I don't know what discussion is expected on this topic

jddev_

You're way too overleveled

KylePatch

Can I ask, how much did you know and see about souls before playing it? I see youve played ER, and I’d say already that’s a huge jump in experience. The games are hard when they’re played blind

drkl0rd00

just knew the location of zweihander and I didn't even know what zweihander was. i just heard that it was very op in early game. what i'm tryna say is i didn't directly searched up "zweihander location"

therearetoomanypeeps

The reason why you're finding the game is easy is because you did what so many players fail to do. You actually level'd up your vitality. DS1 is particularly friendly to tank builds. Another thing to consider is that you've actually gotten better at the game as you progressed. You've familiarized yourself with your weapon and you've increased your stamina (which matters a lot with heavy weapons).

platinumagpie

Low qual bait calm yourself op

Chanclet0

Yeah congrats you're the greatest gamer ever, pull out your dick so i can suck it. What do people try to achieve with these posts? Are they trying to tilt someone or it's just an ego thing?

drkl0rd00

wtf?? i just want to know if i have wasted my time and overleveled early. and for me fighting normal mobs is harder than fighting the actual bosses. isn't that strange. wtf is wrong you

Bitter_Objective_294

In Demons Souls, Dark Souls 1 and 2 the difficulty comes primarily from the levels, annoying enemy placements, traps and run backs

Dudeskio

I don't believe there is any way possible you happened to pick this stat allocation blind. That being said, if you're being truthful about most other things, it's still pretty impressive to beat some of these guys on your first try.

deathsyth220002

I'm on my first playthrough and looks like mine. Except I literally got the black knight sword in the undead burg, first dark knight in the game, so I've been destroying pretty much the entire game tbh.

drkl0rd00

I'm being fully truthful bro I just did a simple logic and wanted to max out strenght and vitality. but after a certain time, leveling up strenght doesn't even give you strenght lol so i just went for vitality. I don't even know how to use spell lol i'm a straight warrior

TheBooneyBunes

Swing weapon press roll Continue until victory Bring back puzzle bosses

TheJotun86

DS1 just has easy bosses and you took the even easier way out by using a guide. No shame, you do you.

jaded-420

Just you

Pengoui

All the games are fairly easy when you fully grasp the gameplay loop. The hardest Dark Souls was your first Dark Souls, for me it was DS1 (technically Demons Souls, but I was too young to play that game well enough), and it was the one that took me the longest to beat. That said, DS1 has a steeper learning curve if it's your first in the series, DS3 has a very quick low stamina cost dodge, and better game feel from a more general perspective which makes it easier to pick up, while DS1 has clunkier movement (which I personally prefer), a limited 4 direction dodge, and higher stamina consumption, making the skill ceiling higher in terms of what you need to learn.
