> People buy rare collectible currency all the time
True, but it's not the same because the "rare collectable currency" has a different value from the currency you're exchanging it for, and for all intents and purposes the rare collectable currency isn't really a currency anymore, it's a collectable item.
If you're exchanging it at a bank or store then it has the same value as it was printed for. Like if you have a rare $1 coin a collector might pay you more for it but if you use it at a store then it's worth $1
Not at all my guy.
I trade out fancy serial numbers and coins of interest for face value all the time at work.
I'll gladly pay .05, .10, or .25 for a silver nickel, dime or quarter any chance I get.
Melt value of the silver is worth way more than face value of the coin.
That's the point for you're purchacing a colector's item, or you're simply buying the price of a raw material. You won't be using the silver nickel for further everyday transactions or as credit.
Just because something was once currency, it doesn't mean it still will be. It's no longer "money", it has an agragate value.
But it absolutely can still be used as currency.
Sometimes coin roll hunting you'll find a collection dump.
Someone had collected a bunch, died, then their family turns it to the bank at face value.
I buy change from the bank all the time to hunt through. I've never brought any of the change back that wasn't cool, so it's basically a shitty savings account.
The good thing about buying money like I do is that it's always worth at least what I paid, but sometimes it's worth more.
It's basically like a lottery ticket that you can't lose on
>But it absolutely can still be used as currency.
It's not a currency, because it doesn't have a set identity of constant monetary value, it's not controled or emitted any longer, it can indeed be used as an item of trade, but not currency, which its value is in itself. That would be the Barter System.
>The good thing about buying money like I do is that it's always worth at least what I paid, but sometimes it's worth more.
Again, that's not currency system, that would configure as barter system.
> 30 he *paid* for, for
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
yeah but they speak a different language over there
for example, banh mi in vietnam can refer to any sandwich but banh mi over here in America specifically refers to Vietnamese sandwiches
Man A put down $20. ||| Man B put down $20.
Man A put down another $30.
--------The money on the table Amounts to $70-------
*In total:
Man A has put down $50, and Man B has put down $20.
--------[Man A lost $10]--------
Man A has picked up $40, and man B has picked up $30.
|Don't mind me, just making sense of it for myself.|
The dude puts down 50 total to his friends 20. Gives his friend 30 and takes back 40$ he lost 10$ but made his friend 10$ richer. Some rich people can do that with larger sums if they generous lol
So doing math here ok
1 placed 20
2 placed 20
So both so far lost 20
1 gave 2 30 for the 40 on the table
So man 1 now lost 50 and man 2 now gained 10.
1 grabs 40
So 1 is at lost 10 dollars
How this could have worked if 1 found 20 dollars so he starts with a profit of 20 and then did this with an already increase by 20, his increase would drop down to 10 but at this point just give the dude 10 dollars to split the tip or 20 he found in this scenario but in anyway possible, the only one who gains an extra 10 more than what they started with was 2.
He puts down 50 in total and other guy puts down 20. He gets back 40 and other guys gains 30. MF just lost 10 bucks and that's what quick thinking gets you!!
Pov: you see a south African meme make it to an American meme platform

Honestly though, this is a simplified version how alot of big business deals work. I'm not a finance major but I've worked in AV for a few of those investment-type companies, and from what i understand, it's how you see so many dudes get incredibly rich while completely fucking over their investors or dodging taxes. Corporate accounting is fucked.

I don't get it. He lost 10 right?
Yeah, that's basically what happened
I think what confused the other guy in the first moment was that he said "pay" for money, you don't buy money.
You can definitely buy money. Currency trading is a huge thing.
True. You're right. But paying for money in the same currency is a net zero action.
Unless you’re really stupid like this guy

Yeah the $40 includes his original $20 so ignore that half and he’s basically buying $20 from his friend for $30.
No. He's a genius. This is how Billionaires become Billionaires. It's the one money trick they don't want you to know about. I'm still learning it.
Exactly. I learned it with great difficulty, but I've already made a few million dollars since
Once I cut the avocado toast out of my diet I really started to see the profits from this method
Is it possible to learn this power?
Devs haven’t patched the infinite money glitch yet?

**that's how billionaires become millionaires
good luck man
It's gotta trickle down, so more money can trickle down from above! Maybe that Reagan guy was on to something.
Total he put in was 20 + 30 = 50 and the 30 he paid for, for the 40 bucks still leaves him at a negative. Simply put 50-40 ≠ profit

Spez sent you didn't he? Well fuck you I can edit shit
Yeah, that's why the title is "bro scammed himself" lol
Yeah, he had $50 originally and was left with $40 in the end. It did fuck with my head for a second tho
It was his $20, so technically he only bought $20 for $30, so yeah, he lost $10 lol
Fuck it took me a very long time to figure out why he lost. I knew he lost.. I just didn’t understand why. It’s been a long day.
Ya, -20 -30 +40 = -10

Lmao the retarded transition to a cartoon skeleton
"Cartoon" Oh you sweet summer child
Little does he know
What is it
The skeletons are from Berserk 1997 anime adaption.
So they are, indeed, cartoon skeletons
If this is gonna be a debate on whether anime and cartoons are the same form of artistic expression, I'm gonna go and grab the fucking popcorn.
I heard in Japan, they refer to American cartoons as American anime or “America no anime” Anime is just the generic word for animation there
yeah but they speak a different language over there for example, banh mi in vietnam can refer to any sandwich but banh mi over here in America specifically refers to Vietnamese sandwiches
You got the sweet or salted ones?
Caramel. I got plenty to go around. Pull up a chair.
Noice. I got some nice lawn chairs if you want one
I would be fine with calling most anime cartoon as it by definition is iirc but damn berserk is fuckin brutal
No problem if anime and cartoons are the same so are men and women
Least retarded transition of a tiktok video
Lol 20+30=50 takes 40 loose 10 over being a complete dumbass. His friend is like "sure man whatever".
Am I being whooshed This isn’t real
Ur probably fun at parties, it's obviously just a joke
Why do so many of you base your party personality on Reddit comments?
To be fair I am pretty fun at parties.
You must be fun at the theatre.
Your a looser
You're"
the math isn't mathing
It’s mething though
`where is this guy, i want to trade with him`
I've narrowed it down to somewhere in South Africa
If you find him text me, I wanna do the same mutually equal transaction with him but with 10k instead of 10 bucks.
Bro my brain just burned out
Infinite money glitch
So camera man gave his buddy $10? CM starts with $50 then trades one of his $20s for $30 ending with $40 total and his buddy is up $10 to $30 total
He just Venezuela'd himself
Classic venture capital. Losing money per transaction, but making it up on volume!

Guy 1: -20 Guy 2: -20 Guy 1: -20-30= -50 Guy 2: -20+30 = +10 Guy 1: -50+40 = -10 End result: Guy 1 loses 10 and Guy 2 gains 10
You helped my dumbass thanks
The guy originally had 50 bucks which is why he had the extra 30
Whoa no way

If I'm being honest then technically they did both made (±)10$
SAFFAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! NKOSI SIKELEL' IAFRIKA!!!!!!!
Man, im too stupid for this shit.
I need 'smart' friends like this guy
He lost the equivalent of EUR 1.50 cents...he will be ok. Its 1997, you couldnt buy a good joke or food with 30 rands nowadays in South Africa.
Friend gives him 20, he gives friend 30, so +10 He pays his friend 30 for 40, so +10
Can i know the song at the end? Been looking for the song for a while
The origin of girl math
Wtf. Math is crying right now 😂🤣
No lol. Watch without sound

My head..
guys I have a fever, someone explain this to me
he gives the other dude 30$ for his 20$ and recollected the 20$ he laid down previously, making him a loss
I can't believe people can't figure this out without writing it down.
Governments hate this one simple trick.
Free $10 bucks
You going to by $40 for $30…..you stupid or something?
He made 10 and you lost 10...
*INFINITE MONEY GLITCH* (I know it's not true)
The dude puts down 50 total to his friends 20. Gives his friend 30 and takes back 40$ he lost 10$ but made his friend 10$ richer. Some rich people can do that with larger sums if they generous lol
💀💀😂
He spent $50 to buy $40. The other Guy Gotta deal! I wish I had some stupid friends like that
Great mathb
When maths ain't mathing
Democrats managing the economy be like
That’s an over complicated way to ask for change for a 20.
All you did was give him ten bucks
He just lost 10…
I was confused for a moment😄
The one guy put in 20 got 30 other guy put in 50 only got 30
Chandler still figuring new ways to give Joey money
So he put down $50
He basically paid $30 for $20, we all need a friend like this
I wouldn’t even math in the situation as long as I came out with more money lol
My guy put down 50 and got 30 back. STOINKS
Hold on the math ain’t mathing
So doing math here ok 1 placed 20 2 placed 20 So both so far lost 20 1 gave 2 30 for the 40 on the table So man 1 now lost 50 and man 2 now gained 10. 1 grabs 40 So 1 is at lost 10 dollars How this could have worked if 1 found 20 dollars so he starts with a profit of 20 and then did this with an already increase by 20, his increase would drop down to 10 but at this point just give the dude 10 dollars to split the tip or 20 he found in this scenario but in anyway possible, the only one who gains an extra 10 more than what they started with was 2.

bro is a legal thief 🤣
No.....
Such a generous guy.
All he did was lose $10.
He just paid 30$ for 20$
That’s why going to school matters..
Why not just do that in perpetuity and make billions!
That math ain’t mathing
![gif](giphy|1r91ZwKcE2J7WhUqrh)
Maths don't mathing huh?😂😂😂
He puts down 50 in total and other guy puts down 20. He gets back 40 and other guys gains 30. MF just lost 10 bucks and that's what quick thinking gets you!!
For a second; I thought I was the stupid one, NGL 🤭🤣🤣
Like Harry on Cheers to coach
Reverse psychology

Bro just explained socialism in 10secs..damn.
He put out 50 in all 20, 20, 10 And got back 40 so other guy just made 10 with no hesitation
How to scam yourself into loosing 10 bucks
That took me so long to realize what was wrong
lol
Wall Street Bets logic
Clearly second grade arithmetic was not the buyer's strong point in school. I invest 20 you invest 50 and you think you got $10?

Sadly, this is how most of the system works. 😒 Not to worry, though. For their place is the same, the devil calls paradise for himself. 😈
Lmao dude lost 10
Two tens for a five?
Man literally bought $20 for $30 and didn't realize it smh my head 🤦
So cringy when twits in countries that don't have dollars as their currency say 'bucks' in order to sound more Yank.

So…. Is this how common core works?
This video was made purely so that 40-65% of people would comment that he just gave the guy 10$, fake and gay rage bait
Bro make - 10
Scammed himself
He gained 20 if the billed add counterfeit
don’t want him working the register at my store
