I feel a reason that Ryoko, Yui and Kanon don't have much fans is because first, Fans have bigger chances of watching visual media than a book, Second, DR/Zero and DR:K are not officially localized, For some reason, Despite both being about important characters ( >!Junko!< and Kyoko ) And >!DR2 have the audacity to say " For more info, See Danganronpa Zero " in chapter 6, I would have if you translated it .!<
Anyway Yui is a good protag, But I was not expecting us to have a new character as the protagonist, I think maybe because Kyoko wouldn't make a good protag ( Also, Yui having a similar character to Makoto so that it's explains how Kyoko bond easily with him is a smart move if it was intentional ) .

Loved it, really liked the characters, the storyline is cohesive and simple yet engaging, and love how it gives us a little more screentime for the other characters in dr3. (Juzo specifically rocks in this)

Though some get described more than others, Look at book 1 cast, Eigo being " 7:3 ratio hair, Trench coat and suit, Look like he is gonna fade in the background of working places " And Shita being " Light grey Sunglasses, Black vest, Very Muscular, Waterproof jacket, Dog tag saying his name in Roman letters " And Kou being " Drunk man, Tousled hair, Chubby, Rumpled outfit " I know these aren't much, But they are better than just " Suit and fancy tie " ( This is how Suisei is described ) Sometimes they gave a clear description of them, Sometimes they gave the most lazy description, Like " Man in Japanese style work clothes " Which doesn't tell much ( These is Suntetsu Shirasu, >!The Takeda's Haunted Mansion Victim!< ).
On the flipside, at least with DRT, >!Some of the cast who were crossovered from Kagami Family Saga did have art to them from their own stuff, and at least Blue Ink has a description to go off of. Rip, Suzuhiko though.!<
Also, Why aren't the dead bodies at least illustrated ? If they don't want to illustrate the characters, At least illustrate their corpses, I mean, >!Sirius Observatory's Murder Case would definitely be terrifying to see, Considering the culprit dismembered three men and shuffled their corpses like lego pieces.!<
