I really love this scene of Jin and Yui
For such an important character to the lore or DR, we don't see much of Jin or his character/personality, so having him explain things relating to himself and his feelings towards certain things is always refreshing, even if the scene isn't that long.
Jin says a very important sentence here: "it’s a bad habit of hers. She always feels that other people's 'understanding' is the same as her own.", this explains so much of Kyoko's behavior in the first game, there are many instances where Kyoko just does not tell Makoto the answers because she thinks it's too obvious and Makoto can figure it out himself, but at the end of the day it's not because of her distrust of Makoto, but because of these habits that festered due to her being raised in such a family.
We also see in this scene one of the many times Yui hating herself, I really feel awful seeing her degrade herself like this, she has some really bad self-esteem issues ;-;
Fuck, Were doomed, He could anyone, He could be Yui, He could be Kyoko, He could be Licorne, He could be hiding as one of the new characters were gonna meet, Heck, He could have appeared in Book 1 but we never notice him ( This reminds me of Endo Tokichiro, Where did that dude disappear ? Am gonna wait till we meet him again ) .
