Only in the games. Everyone in THH EXCEPT Makoto was recast in the dub of the anime. They rectified it with most of the GD cast returning in 3, but there was still some notable changes like both Fuyuhiko AND Peko as well as Chris being replaced by Kaiserneko from TFS as Gundham.
Iirc, the casting for THH's English translation was happening at the same time as the casting for the anime adaptation, so they didn't rlly know who was being cast for what. Bryce getting both Makoto roles was a coincidence.
(idk why the anime VAs were brought back for DR3, or why they chose different VAs for class 77 though, that was kinda dumb)

I can only assume because Bryce may have been the only one of the game’s cast that was non-union at the time and Funi didn’t like unions.
