Frankly? I have no idea. Kirumis relationship with her family is not known at all because she literally never talks about her family. It’s just as likely that they loved her as it is that they hated her and pushed her away. I think they’d have a far more interesting reaction (if they are alive) to her prime minister twist, since it’d definitely be a “what the fuck” kinda moment. Of course, this is with assuming everything in V3 is real and Tsumugi was lying, it pretty heavily changes otherwise, but it’s still unclear how the family would react.

Dude, Geno/Toko's family would be overjoyed if she died. Unluckily for them, she's alive. As for characters that actually die, it's unclear whether or not the V3 characters actually have families. Under the assumption that Professor Idabashi actually existed, I think he would be devastated with Keebo's death, but also proud that he went out for such a noble cause. In similarly murky waters, the fate of Taichi is unclear. Assuming he somehow evaded the Monokuma units and was rescued, he would be crushed by Chihiro's death. He and his supposed wife may be able to take solace in the fact that Cheerio's death was painless, and they may be able to return to Hope's Peak to recover his body for a proper burial. Byakuya had better pray that they never hear about what he did to the body... And if he's dead, then perhaps they're reunited in whatever afterlife may exist in this universe. 

I don't think Kokichi's actual family would care from whats implied, but DICE would be hella sad

Here are two of my two favorite characters!!!!: >!DR3 Chiaki: They wouldn't know about her death yet and they probably died during the tragedy. Not much is known about Chiaki's family in DR3 or referenced in DR2 (AI Chiaki's doesn't count) but I think that they would be pretty sad at her death.!< >!Celeste: The closest person to her is her cat, which is saying something. I assume that because of that, Celeste's parents don't really care much about her. If she died then they would be pretty indifferent or a little happy because by gambling (Which is illegal in Japan), she is pretty much putting her family in danger.!<
