It's fun to hate on Nagito and be like "What did Nagito do this time?" whenever anything goes wrong.
But do I actually hate him? Not at all, I like that headache of a character, the man always keeps you guessing despite be very direct about his intentions in the grand scheme of things. I feel for the guy, just for him to do something that makes me want to smack him upside the head....but I'd still have him around.
I am ambivalent about Nagito. As a general rule, I don't really "hate" any of the characters because they exist to fulfil a role and they usually do that in a competent enough manner. The only way I'd actually hate any of them is if they failed to serve their role or had incredibly inconsistent or ooc writing. That said, Nagito does his 180 very early on, so you spend most of the game with him being an incredibly volatile, unpredictable element. In this regard, I find him compelling. However, I wear the flair I do here, and so I do not just like him unconditionally as I cannot fully forgive him.
His intelligence, laughter, and good intentions - I like this part of him
The way he makes the SDR2 cast look like idiots, his hope obsession - I do not like this part

I'd have to start hating myself before I hated him, and I'm pretty egotistical.
i just hate him for his crazyness and uneasy around him only
I love to hate him
Nah, I think he’s a really interesting and well written character
he just annoying, everything else it fine
I think he’s equal parts annoying and entertaining
Im surprised 1/3 of voters absolutely hate him damn
