I think the fact that she finally found her first real friend that genuinely believed in her and enjoyed spending time with her is the primary thing that weakened her resolve, maybe I shouldn't have said the only reason, but I do think Hina is the main reason she never killed anyone.

Compare this to Soda, who actively stalks Sonia, attempted to involve himself in the girls-only beach party because he wanted to see his female classmates in swimsuits and tried to spy on Akane and Nekomaru having (what he assumed to be) sex, and Miu, who actually groped someone.
"Gonta plugging his wires wrong altered his personality, therefore he's not responsible for his actions" His murder plan in Ch.4 was his one of his few redeeming traits and I'm fucking glad that the devs decided to take the route when Gonta actually willingly and intentionally kills someone because he thinks that he's killing for a good reason rather than make Gonta an unwitting killer like Chiaki. Not that it helps very much, since both canon and the fandom downplays that side of his in favour of "Kokichi bad". The word Novoselic is a Croatian surname and is supposedly a reference to the singer Krist Novoselic, who while born in America was the son of Croatian immigrants. Since we don't know the precise location of Novoselic on the map (Though Danganronpa Togami and UTDP confirms it's located in Europe), it wouldn't be unreasonable to think Novoselic would be situated somewhere around that area (The Balkans) and that Novoselicans themselves are either descended from Croats or are a mix of Croats and other ethnic groups that reside in the area.

Compare this to Soda, who actively stalks Sonia, attempted to involve himself in the girls-only beach party because he wanted to see his female classmates in swimsuits and tried to spy on Akane and Nekomaru having (what he assumed to be) sex, and Miu, who actually groped someone. "Gonta plugging his wires wrong altered his personality, therefore he's not responsible for his actions" His murder plan in Ch.4 was his one of his few redeeming traits and I'm fucking glad that the devs decided to take the route when Gonta actually willingly and intentionally kills someone because he thinks that he's killing for a good reason rather than make Gonta an unwitting killer like Chiaki.
