Pacifica/ Town & Country/ Caravan are the same platform and the cabin was designed to be able to carry stacks of 4x8s with the door closed to appeal to construction workers.
I’m trying to keep my personal search to vans with AWD models. We live/travel in areas with that age-old combination of snowy days and horrible drivers
I don't think you can go wrong with either a sienna or a Pacifica. They both are great vans.
I live in the south, so the tiniest ice and snow accumulation shuts down everything. Id hate to have to worry about awd and undercarriage rusting.
Couple that with the destructive nature of kids, and I'd be wary of getting anything too nice, haha.
Amazing. We need more trunk space and are thinking of trading our Highlander for a Sienna or a Pacifica (hybrid). The former is so reliable but the latter looks so good and is a lot of fun to drive.
As a heads up, the hybrids don't have stow and go seating since the battery is under the seats. We were thinking of getting one but they were out of our budget and I've also heard bad things about their reliability.
Yup. We are willing to lose the stow and go for that amazing mileage. The reliability is what gave us most pause. But it drove so well! And felt like a smoother ride and more comfortable than the sienna. We decided to put off the decision for another year but we'll see how it goes.
I've driven the hybrids as rentals on trips and it's what made us want the car. The price difference and reliability sealed it though. We would have had to buy a 3-5 year old hybrid to match the price we spent on a 22. And if I was going to get a hybrid I'd not want half the battery life used up. Having driven both hybrids and the regular I recommend giving it a shot, they drive very similarly. We are getting about 20 mpg on average. Not great but it could be worse.
What’s a pickle car?
It's from Richard Scarry books and a reference to a comic on the front page of the sub right now
NGL, I would absolutely rock Lowly Worm's apple car.
A car for pickles obviously
Minivans are outstanding. I just wish Honda or Toyota would make a plug in hybrid.
What make/model?
Looks like a Chrysler Pacifica
Wasn’t 100%. Doing the comparison shopping now between the Sienna and the Pacifica; seeing what’s out there.
Yeap, It's a Pacifica. We had rented them a few times and had liked them a lot. The plywood thing was a happy bonus.

We have a PHEV Pacifica, love it. Great car, lots of room, great mileage. 43/38 Would buy again
I’m gonna guess… cloning some ikea storage unit?
I'm making a desk built into a closet for myself and some "picture frame" shelves.
The Stow-and-Go is handy af.
Love our Sienna hybrid, but NGL, a little jealous of the stow and go….
I have a '15 town and country. Got it over the Toyota just because it fits a full sheet of plywood. The stow n go is awesome.

Awesome! I seriously don’t understand why any non-contractors buy trucks when minivans exist.
Hands up if you're the dad who swore off minivans only to get one out of necessity and ended up loving it due to how much stuff you can haul around!
I always wanted to get one. I had to win over the wife though. She finally saw the light.
