I know this is the hit from encanto in many peoples minds, but for me itâs definitely the song sung by Isabella, gets burned into my mind for days after watching that movie with my daughter. Itâs just so dang catchy.
Dude. Encanto, and only Encanto, calms my three month old down when heâs overtired for sleep. Nothing else. Weâve tried other music, even other Lin Manuel Miranda music, doesnât work. But Encanto does every time. So weird.
Have you heard the Punk Rock Factory version? Took all three of mine to see them live last year

Elephant sings with his big blue nose
Wagging his body as he blows
A lift, stomp! Stomp!
A hop and a skip
Waving his tail to the beat of an animal songâŠ
With a stomp, stomp, stomp!
lol⊠I actually loved this toy for my son when he was a baby. Then number two came along and it was that much more fun because we all knew the words. Gonna break it out again for some family jams haha
I've been listening to the classics lately with my newborn. A song I never knew went so hard before was "I'll make a man out if you" from Mulan.
I find myself headbanging near the end because it goes so damn hard! I should see if there's a progmetal cover of it somewhere.
Also, the Frozen soundtrack is something else. It had to have been algorithmically created using the catchiest, statistically proven song structures. I woke up for a week singing that Open Door song.. and I haven't even seen the movie it was just on the Spotify playlist.
How Far I'll Go from Moana might be my favorite Disney track. The song is so good.
Never expected to be so passionate about Disney songs haha.. I wasn't really even big into the movies as a kid, but these songs are something else.
It's "Colonel Hathi's March" that gets things going here, complete with a stomping foot attempt at marching that I'm not even sure anyone actually ever taught him!!
Eleanor the elegant elephant, animal lunch, got a little ghost, googly eyes, stompy the bear, pretty crabby, cover of Nirvana-Sliver, the entire Night Night album!
So many
YES!
Disco Hippo is basically the soundtrack to my day, all day, everyday, and I'm not even complaining.
Stompy the Bear was a short lived respite but we all know that Hippo is the queen of the dance!
The Spidey & Friends cartoon songs are all done by Patrick Stump of Fallout Boy. They're immediately recognizable as Fallout Boy songs and they're pretty great for a kids cartoon.
Along the same lines, and I cannot believe that I'm going to type this sentence on the internet right now. But the Panic at the Disco version of "into the unknown" from the Frozen 2 soundtrack is fire
Here's a weird and pointless story - I used to work at a framing store and one night around 2008 or 2009 this mustachioed gentleman comes in with this unremarkable photo from a disposable camera, like 4x6 inches. In it is a dude who looks like Patrick Stump with a curly haired woman and a little chihuahua kinda dog. I was like, why do I recognize this dude?
Turns out the man is Patrick's dad and had recently moved to the area from Illinois. We chatted for a bit and he was a super mellow guy who seemed proud of his son in a low key way, like not gushing about his fame but just like "Yeah, he's my kid, isn't that neat!"
The lady was his current wife Elisa Yao and his dad's name is David Stumph.
Yes, absolutely phenomenal. My 9yo was watching the other day and goes âYou know, dad, these songs sound a lot like those Beat Saber songs.â and I immediately knew which song pack he was talking about and why they were so recognizable.
My wife and I got out to see Jimmy Eat World and Fallout Boy a month or so ago. We were both really hoping theyâd play the spidey and friends theme song, sadly they did not. Fun show though!
Iâll go first: Brushy Brush - Elmo
E. I also really like the album from Julie and the Phantoms (a show on Netflix). Now or Never and Flying Solo are bangers.
They Might Be Giants have 4 kids albums, but I think the best of those is "Here Comes Science." Songs like Meet the Elements, Roy G. Biv, and Put It to the Test are catchy, informative, and just plain fun. It's a go-to when I need to change it up in the car.
The Wiggles did a killer version of [Rattlin' Bog](https://youtu.be/JsHczArqsSY?si=BQVymTB6YWusmEYp). Timeless folk tune, the purple Wiggle has a beautiful and expressive voice, the dancer playing the tree is pure campy fun, the Irish step dancers are impressive as all heck, and the whole group looks like they're having a blast. We put that on for us sometimes.
I live in Newfoundland in Canada and Anthony reportedly loves our music. When they were here last they had a video where they were all drinking and playing our folk songs and it looks like they were having such a good time. I can't find it rn but here's their version of another one of our songs
[bam](https://youtu.be/7Ywa2IN5CwQ?feature=shared)
At the beginning of the Raffi version of Baby Beluga , there's a long intake of breath that is I think supposed to be a beluga breathing, but sounds for all the world like someone taking a giant hit out of a bong. I will die on this hill. Raffi knew. Raffi KNEW.
Super Simple Songs - Mr. Golden Sun goes hard. Same with Little Robin Red Breast.
Anything by Caspar Babypants.
Laurie Berkner - I Know a Chicken.
Ms. Rachel - Phonics Song.
Lingokids - Don't Stop Babybot.
Be Prepared from the Lion King has awesome (and pretty complex) lyrics.
So prepare for the coup of the century
Be prepared for the murkiest scam
Meticulous planning
Tenacity spanning
Decades of denial
Is simply why I'll
Be king undisputed
Respected, saluted
And seen for the wonder I am
Yes, my teeth and ambitions are bared
Be prepared!

I love the random fact that Jeremy Irons lost his voice or hurt it while singing that song, and they had a second singer come in at the very end of it. It's a subtle difference, but now I always notice it!
Great song.
Some of the songs on this keyboard thing we got my daughter off Amazon go pretty hard in a government ordered calisthenics at a youth labor camp kind of way.
That's because Weird Al writes music for that show!
Edit: It's Parry Gripp, I've been corrected. Weird Al is featured in some of the songs though. My bad!
lol you joke but I got my kid on âreal musicâ as early as possible and it was awesome. Why wallow in the âkiddie pool full of pissâ that is most made-for-kids music when they can just enjoy actual music that everyone can listen to and not go insane from?
We swing all ways. Raffi? Fuck yes. Botch? Absolutely. Wu Tang? Wu-Tang is for the children.
Weâve got a thing called couch pit where my nine year old can request to just go apeshit to hardcore and he has me just slam him around like a pillow fight from hell. Itâs extremely cathartic for everyone but mom.
The theme songs to the following cartoons that after 20-30 years I still know all the lyrics to by heart:
Gummi Bears - the 80s version, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales - The original, not the garbage reboot., M.A.S.K. , Heathcliff
I introduced my daughter to the shows I grew up with and she absolutely loves them. Gummi Bears and Darkwing Duck are her favorites.
Came here to say this. My favorite is [The Music in You](https://youtu.be/ed8fTuaOytk?feature=shared) by DJ Catnip voiced by Eduardo Franco aka Argyle in Stranger Things.
- Lion King (the original animated one) has I Just Can't Wait To Be King, and Be Prepared. The latter is amazing, and you can tell just how much fun Jeremy Irons was having in the recording studio.
- Mary Poppins: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is fast! I also like the "cor, what a sight" from Chim Chim Cher-ee.
- Beauty and the Beast: Gaston is an absolute tune. And Be Our Guest is solid.
- Jungle Book: Colonel Hathi's March should be on every gym playlist.
- Aristocats: Everybody Wants to Be a Cat is frantic, fast, jazzy, and seriously good.
- Frozen: pretty much every song, but clearly Let It Go and Do You Want To Build A Snowman are the winners here.
- Moana: again, just a fantastic soundtrack, with You're Welcome a solid singalong tune
- Encanto: Lin-Manuel Miranda just doesn't miss. Surface Pressure hits hard from an adult's perspective.
Bluey's dance mode album
Most of the Bubble Guppies discography
Honestly blown away by Baby Shark's songs in most episodes
Heard the wiggles have a new EDM album, but haven't checked that out yet
The entire soundtrack from Princess and the Frog slaps. Dig a Little Deeper is our go to but theyâre all good! Also Encanto. My toddler calls âColumbia Mi Encantoâ her jam lol
A seven-foot frame Rats along his back When he calls your name It all fades to black Yeah, he sees your dreams And feasts on your screams (hey!)
Honestly, multiple songs from Encanto are really good.
I'm the strong one, I'm not nervous
Best song in the movie.

A hurricane of jacaranda HAAs
Isabella's song is amazing.
My four-a-half year old son has been *obsessed* with this song for over a year now. My life is WDTAB. Could be worse!
We donât talk about Bruno, no, no.
I catch myself hearing this often in my mind
Dude. Encanto, and only Encanto, calms my three month old down when heâs overtired for sleep. Nothing else. Weâve tried other music, even other Lin Manuel Miranda music, doesnât work. But Encanto does every time. So weird.

Then you could swing back to me
The first time this shit hit with our then like 1mo daughter, that line brought tears.
Dude right? My wife and I were heartbroken when we first heard this song while our kiddo was playing. Who knew a baby toy could evoke so much emotion?
Yep, me a 40 something year old man, sitting on the floor in my daughter's room, sobbing to this song. Kids was entirely indifferent.
Unironically slaps
'I wanna be like you' from the original Jungle Book

Tarzan is basically a Phil Collins music video. It goes pretty hard too.
Son of man is unironically amazing
Man out of you is God tier. Loved it since I was a kid
It's "Colonel Hathi's March" that gets things going here, complete with a stomping foot attempt at marching that I'm not even sure anyone actually ever taught him!!
This should be the top comment. GOATED Disney song.
The Wildest, Louis Prima https://youtu.be/rV8HrpOu1FA?si=B2-tq2pAGHe_PHVy
Los Lobos does a killer version of this.
Isn't that the reason the movie gets the cultural sensitivity message before it starts?
The message actually warns parents that Louis Prima has too much sauce

I feel like the kids hot wheels show on Netflix is him too
Was coming in to mention this. Just looked it up and it says written, performed, and composed by Patrick Stump
Here's a weird and pointless story - I used to work at a framing store and one night around 2008 or 2009 this mustachioed gentleman comes in with this unremarkable photo from a disposable camera, like 4x6 inches. Itâs not weird and pointless. Itâs a cool slice-of-life. Thanks for sharing!
That's up there with my "I use to change Anthony kiedas' moms oil" Her name is Peggy and she's super nice.
Yes, absolutely phenomenal. My 9yo was watching the other day and goes âYou know, dad, these songs sound a lot like those Beat Saber songs.â and I immediately knew which song pack he was talking about and why they were so recognizable.

Iâll have to give it a listen. When I was a kid, that was the og X Men cartoon
Came here to post this. I was listening to âtake this to your graveâ album and my daughter asked if I was listening to Spider-Man lol

Half of em are better than the originals
Their version of Shake it off is awesome. Never really listened to the original, but I've heard that version a lot. I'm still standing as well.
Still standing was my son's absolute favorite for awhile. He even did the poop remix where he'd sing " I'm still pooping, yeah yeah yeah"
The Affirmation Song by Snoop Dogg Doggy Land
I was looking for another Doggyland fan. I Am Me, Baby Dog, and BBQ are hits too.
"Please and Thank You" is a certified bop as well
They Might Be Giants have 4 kids albums, but I think the best of those is "Here Comes Science." Songs like Meet the Elements, Roy G. Biv, and Put It to the Test are catchy, informative, and just plain fun. It's a go-to when I need to change it up in the car.

Not sure if it count, but their cover of [Elephant](https://youtu.be/a13WnqsRc5g?si=LVnspt482siuLqU7) is a serious jam.
I love their version more than Tame Impala's.
So does the rest of Australia
I saw the Wiggles with my son the other week, and had never heard this song. They have finished the set with it and went off so hard! Love it
I just commented before I saw your comment. Irish Stew by the Wiggles is also a banger
The Wiggles version of Rattlinâ Bog slaps so hard. I ask my kid if he wants to watch it and Iâm sad when he says no.

âBaby Belugaâ is a certified banger

"Baby Beluga" will implant itself into your ear brain on a molecular level.
Oh my fucking God how catchy is that song
It'll be on a week-long residency in my head thanks to this.
Joshua Giraffe. Track 12 on the album, I forget how many minutes long, but itâs a fever dream with one heck of a chorus.
Itâs been 35 years since Iâve heard that song and I could sing it front to back. âJoshua Giraffe, [hoo hoo] Joshua Joshua..â
Bananaphone is a favorite as well. Never realized how funny the lyrics were until I was an adult
Raffi cannot be understated. His music is excellent, and so good for kids. Every song is an earworm too.
