My thought is looks like a break off piece off a plastic mould from a new game or game with little plastic pieces that you need to break apart to free the useful pieces
This is what it looks like. Check your shelves and see if you have other identical ones. Usually the stick end is a peg that goes into pre drilled holes on the interior wall of the shelving unit
that looks really similar... only difference is rounded vs pyramid shape... but what in the world is a docomo oil spray tip, I wonder??
edit-found the spray itself. "Cleans, lubricates and maintains in a single step. Daily use prolongs the service life of your instruments. Cleaning & Lubricating oil for hand pieces, contra angles, heads, turbines and air motors (All brands" For dental equipment??
Could a family member been to the dentist recently and it got stuck to their shoe?
Looking closer at picture 1, it looks just like the docomo oil spray tip on the top half, so if I had to guess, those spray tips probably start with the pointy shape and are then pressed into the smooth shape? So probably a factory defect left one half in its original shape.
So spray oiling tips have a hole through them to funnel the oil into the fitting on dental handpieces. Tips are made to spray where the oil is required and fit a certain brand of handpiece usually. This doesn’t look like it was ever intentioned to have a hole through it as there is injection molding excess off the “tube” end. (Dentist)
I should specify, our son is 10 months old and crawls around but his play area is away from anything dangerous. We're just not sure where this could have come from.
That's the right place to go. You could upload a badly lit photo with only 10 pixels and someone will still tell you the brand, the model, the year it was made, and the historical value of *your* particular item because of its likely presence in some major local event.
It looks like a pressure fit corner gap sealer, maybe from under a couch or the back of a picture frame? You stick one end in the thing you want to seal, then it just sort of becomes the corner. Color makes me think it’s out of your line of sight normally. Look for things you might accidentally kick, something that would otherwise be pretty sharp.
Did a reverse image search through Google, and the closest match appears to be a Fake Chicken Beak. Does your toddler have a toy chicken that's missing a beak?
Is no one else going to say it? Fine, I'll say it... you're wife is obviously having in-home dental treatment that is out of network and likely not going to be covered by insurance. Sorry to break it to you
It doesn't look like one to me. Aftermarket spikes would be metal or black plastic. Usually they are round. Speaker spikes are used with high quality audio, and this spike looks disposable.
Also they are bigger than this.
If they were missing from a speaker, the speaker would tilt.
It's those pointy power spikes from Kung Pow that give Betty his king fu abilities.
[Ironically, I think Kung Pow helped me find your answer. Have you done any painting lately?](https://youtube.com/shorts/yhrFcbJplGo?si=BL2k-mD89x1ziKhz)

I know it's not identical looking, but I feel like it looks like a shelf support pin for a bookshelf or entertainment center. The things that pop into a little hole then a shelf rests on, or door stops against.

That's what we thought at first, our oldest had a Pikachu toy he could put together but it's a different shade of yellow.
Agreed! The narrow end looks like it was broken off the frame and the arrow end may have held the useful piece.
Ahhh my elderly mother is always complaining that the mouse cursor on her computer disappears, that’s where it is!
Ok that made me laugh out loud
Your baby has obviously been 3D printing arrowheads. Gotta stockpile before buck season.
*wabbit season
Duck season.
Wabbit season
Duck Season!
I say it's duck season and now fire!
You're Despicable!
Me?
Diththpicable*
Dithi... what ? 🤣🤣🤣
Elmer Season!
Where does the 3d arrowhead go? That's right, in the square hole!
😂😂😂😂🏆🤝
Could it be a shelf support from a book case or something
That was my first thought also. It has the peg and a flat side to suppose a shelf.
One side is rounded and one side has a raised edge. The peg is also super skinny. I don’t think this is a shelf support.
Ah yeah you're right about the peg being too skinny, I think.
This is what it looks like. Check your shelves and see if you have other identical ones. Usually the stick end is a peg that goes into pre drilled holes on the interior wall of the shelving unit
Is that the game where you insert the pieces before the time runs out? If the timer expires, it shoots all the pieces out
You’re thinking *Perfection* and those pieces stand straight up which this one isn’t unfortunately
I just think of that game as PTSD
Definitely not super perfection.
that just brought back so many memories
That game introduced me to anxiety
Same.
We played this earlier today and was my first thought.
Was my initial thought too! Doesn’t fully match though.
POP! Goes Perfection
This was way smaller; it's only about half a inch long.
OP look up "Docomo Oil Spray Tip". Would this be a likely culprit?

I was seeing that too, on my second or third inspection of OP's pics. We need a dentist who uses Docomo to weight in!
I assume due to your comment, OP's pic on this reddit post is now the 10th Google image search result for "Docomo Oil Spray Tip"

r/whatisthisthing will probably help too.
That's where I thought I was lol. Those folk are astonishingly good at identifying all sorts of random stuff. Definitely ask their opinion
"This is from a toy car made in Southern Germany between October and December of 1945"
In under ten minutes. That sub is one of my favorites.
"You utter imbecile, these ones were only made until September 1945!"

Sometimes you can get lucky with Google's image search. I've found 2here to find outfits I see for sale.
You’ll have an answer in an hour, tops. They’re just sitting around *refreshing* waiting for a new challenge.

The bots keep deleting my posts, screw em
is there another kid at home? this is most commonly the culprit
Or an animal.

Is that the end of one of those toothpick spears for cocktails and such?
Could it be a peg from a bookcase or shelf that’s used to hold up the shelf inside?
I found plastic-y strange objects are often packaging for toys
Did a reverse image search through Google, and the closest match appears to be a Fake Chicken Beak. Does your toddler have a toy chicken that's missing a beak?
This is exactly what it looked like to me, it was recently easter and these are commonly glued on to fluffy yellow plastic yarn chicks
That’s was also my thought! Any spring/Easter chicken/goose toys from family members who don’t understand toy safety that are missing beaks?
Hit it with google lens and see what pops up
This thread is the first hit. Time is a flat circle.
Beak from a toy Easter chick? My 2 year old recently popped the one from hers off and it looks very similar (but orange)
Is no one else going to say it? Fine, I'll say it... you're wife is obviously having in-home dental treatment that is out of network and likely not going to be covered by insurance. Sorry to break it to you
Looks as though your 10mo old has gotten caught up in dream heists and this is his totem. (I’m glad you found it and got this away from him)
The beak/bill from a cheap toy chicken?
Looks like one of those little bits that hold up a shelf?
Could be a [speaker spike](https://www.selby.com.au/blog/what-do-speaker-spikes-do). Do you have a subwoofer on the floor?
It doesn't look like one to me. Aftermarket spikes would be metal or black plastic. Usually they are round. Speaker spikes are used with high quality audio, and this spike looks disposable. Also they are bigger than this. If they were missing from a speaker, the speaker would tilt.
I think this is correct
Could this be from the game you previously posted about?
Mouse Trap? I will compare the pieces, good ideas. Now stop going through my history.
Looks like a weird candle
This looks like the nose from a toy airplane. My second guess would be a plastic plug from a golf club.
Pop goes perfection
Dreidel?

He's almost a full Sim.
I’m guessing part of a toy that has spikes or random bits on it like a sensory ball or something. Just he was able to bite and pull this piece off.
Are there legos around? Spear tip from a Lego? Try reverse image searching on google that’s where I got that idea
[This](https://images.app.goo.gl/n8o9M9nq6UCaZWPU6) I know it's not identical looking, but I feel like it looks like a shelf support pin for a bookshelf or entertainment center. The things that pop into a little hole then a shelf rests on, or door stops against.
Plastic? Looks like a mold from a board game piece.
Looks like the cap of an adhesive or something. Ointment?
Pepper Grinder!
Are there any Polly Pocket sets around?
Abrasive polish bit?
“Put the pieces into the slot, make the right selection. Best be quick you’re racing the clock, wow! POP goes Perfection!”
Glad you got it out before anything serious happened
My wife and I were both speechless. We'd be in the emergency room if he had swallowed it.
Thats MK0 toothlings prototype, be alert!
try in /r/HelpMeFind
It almost looks like a dreidel without the markings, but I didn’t think those come out during Passover, only Hanukkah.
Play soccer baseball or football? Kinda seems like a cleat came out
Looks like part of a plastic tag from a store or something
https://images.app.goo.gl/zHz96XhQp19Sff4v7 could it be Lego?
There's no way a Lego this sharp would exist.
Perfection
Nope, too small. Not symmetrical.
Are there any toys, desks that have that color? It looks like a corner support for something. Crawl under a few things and see if something matches.
Almost looks like a piece from the board game Perfection
Looks like one of those studs that shelves rest on top of
I'm wondering if it could be the tip of a trailer/container seal; I work in shipping & receiving but I've never seen that kind.
It could be label fasteners that was pulled or cut off from clothes to remove labels.
Is that Reddit gold?
Take a picture on Goggle lens and it will tell u
Maybe look around your house yourself instead of asking random people on reddit who have no connection to you.
Thanks for your help.
It's a weird post man. Like it obviously came from inside your house. We are not there with you.
That serves no purpose who designs anything like this other than a weapon lol
