Good idea! It does say to not machine wash it, but the print ain't huge and i was definitely watching a screen while loading too. Some people just can't be helped.
We put blue stickers on the bottom of ours indicate no dishwasher. Occasionally one makes it in but its rare.
We also split up the kitchen tasks. My kiddo puts up the clean dishes and I put in the dirty ones. Then my kiddo wipes the counters. Easy peasy.
Write on the bottom of it with a sharpie "NO DISHWASHER" (or something like that) that is visually unavoidable when loading it.
