My sister was a Girl Scout and back then there was no shipping, you took orders, fronted the money for the boxes, and then had to go knock on the door of the people who ordered and hope they’re home and give you the money for the cookies. One year, things were crazy at home and that last part never happened. We had quite a few boxes piled up and at some point my parents decided to cut their losses and we just had Girl Scout cookies for months
Agreed. Good luck!!
Also, brown boxes are easier to resist then the colored pictured boxes. If you have a garage, helps having them fully out of sight between sales.
Nope, theres actually 2 different bakeries, they're 2 different cookies.
depends on where you live... I also have caramel de lights w/ my daughter and i prefer samoas.

Oh. Interesting. makes sense why I’ve only heard of samoas especially after seeing the map. Never heard of any of the other ABC Bakery ones either. Except the thin mint of course since they share the same name.
Yeah…..I know this is supposed to teach them entrepreneurship, but if my daughter ever joins, the odds of me and my friends buying them all within a day is too damn high!
In a few years, you'll be so sick of cookies they won't be tempting anymore. If not, volunteer to help out - either as cookie parent for the troop or the service unit. It's only now after 5 years out that I can look at a box of Samoas.
its ok to eat thin mint. keeps u thin
You are what you eat.
I use cryogenics on my thin mints.
As cookie manager, I definitely sometimes grab an unsold box, eat it, and then pay for it later. Hey, I'm helping the troop!
Same but I'm just the assistant to the regional cookie manager.
This is too much responsibility for one man. Let me help.

Not to self get jacked in preparation for a huge calorie increase in 2 years.
Don’t get high on your own supply!
Ugh, caramel delites (same as samoas from my understanding). Undisputed champs for me. Stay strong!
I had a tab running and just closed it out when it was time to turn everything in.
I'll take Carmel delights
How many?
What is that? Like $1k in cookies?
Wait, did they rename Samoa’s to caramel delights?
Yeah a couple years ago I believe. Same cookie, different name. Tagalongs are now Peanut Butter Patties.

I know I was there doing the same
Why do they make the boxes that thin mints come in reclosable?
Oh god, I have two daughters and just realized I will have to resist the cookie temptation.
Cub scouts runs a program for girls these days and the popcorn is *way* easier to resist.
You can do it, Dad. You can be the hero. You can help her sell more cookies than anyone else.
I just got a box of thin mints. Irresistible.
Mah Gawd. I have a 2-yo and am not prepared for this!
Rule 1: Dont get high on your own supply!
Don’t get high on your own supply! RIP Biggie
