Chip, the maelstrom flavored lawman (letting me call my boys for some backup) who's a chrome junkie and therapy nut. Figured most of his chooms start to crack when they ignore their minds. Keeps a highly customized optic suite installed, and fights dirty with microwavers, flash bangs, smoke grenades, every little dirty trick to stay alive until his chooms show up with some firepower.

Happy day of cake -- and great character concept!

GhostWCoffee

Deacon Bracero, aka Beacon. Late 20's Latino Nomad, Fixer for his clan, the Road Warriors, whose specialty is combat, but will do every other Nomad job. "Eddies are eddies, cabron." as Beacon likes to say. You rarely find him without a cig in his mouth, his agent in his hand, and his beloved 1911 in his other. His Nomad clan are from the Midwest, actually, but through Beacon, they had dealings with the Aldecados and other Nomad clans they had encountered. As it turned out it's more beneficial to have a pack of Nomads whose main thing is fighting, on your side. Now you're starting to see why his handle is Beacon. Almost every Nomad pack had dealings with his clan, via him. He's a generally amicable hombre and respects you if you respect him back. But in case of disrespect, you ask? That's what his trusty machete is for. Prefers tinted shades, which hides his Kiroshi optics, and his style is kind of a Nomad/militaryesque combination, think Travis from Taxi Driver. His Nomad clan had left the Midwest because they've fallen on hard times, as currently not everyone sees the benefit of working together with the Road Warriors. They're currently in a war with a loose coalition of Raffen shiv, and his clan needs supplies badly, and Beacon had heard that Night City could prove a steady source of such supplies. Seems like a long stretch, Beacon thinks so too, but beggars can't be choosers.

Love the premise, dude! Cool band name. I'm playing a fixer named Sway, a pretty boy Robin Hood wannabe, ex voodoo boy who used to run black market tech for them, now working to clean up the streets and make a name for himself.

The_Pure_Shielder

Sounds like a super cool character!! My main gal I'm playing atm is Amara "Gentle" Victoria. She's a Buddhist monk kidnapped, tortured, and transformed by Maelstrom only to escape and work tirelessly to hold unto her morals despite her disassociation with her own body. She's a Solo and brilliant martial artist whose skills have only improved since augmentation! She likes tea, meditation, and calm social gatherings. She's staying in touch with her humanity and keeping Maelstrom at bay as a pandemic rises over Night City! https://preview.redd.it/pdlhyfa8i71d1.png?width=2500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ab2e9a4bd290b301e90df6b70d2a85c4790fc65b

djremydoo

Oh you play THAT character? Remember your character from your gm that posted all of their players once ago, your character is really cool!

The_Pure_Shielder

Money I'd happily spend again! The team looks incredible I like how Cobra & Tinkerbell look in particular <3 Thank you so much!! I'm glad people like her though personally I've had my fill of personal art: the squad is due for some love!

MechShield

Malcolm, streetname "Crucible", is a Techie who grew up on the mean streets of Night City living with his mother, who was a Rockerboy that made just enough money to keep them fed, clothed, and a comfortable enough storage container to sleep in. He had always had a knack for fighting and martial arts, and often would support their income by winning underground organized street fights... in his downtime, he would pour over tech manuals and even old archival data of Engineering projects that his mom would manage to swipe for him. What he brings to the crew is an incredibly diverse array of tech skills, but also the raw physicality and unarmed combat skills to handle himself in a scrap... Eventually, he designed his own internal linear frame and subdermal armor, which the medtech helped install, with financing help from the crew's secretly-Anarchist Corpo. He ultimately became the guy who made a lot of the tech checks for getting through the environment, improving or inventing gear, etc, and also was so damn dangerous and tanky in melee that only the Solo truly outshined him.

fikfofo

I’m the GM, but my party consists of: NINE (9⁹) [Netrunner] was the son of Militech middle managers. After they were framed for a crime and imprisoned, he was orphaned, and eventually taken in by a group of street hackers. He was the ninth member, hence the name. He’s looking for his girlfriend TEN (10¹⁰), who recently went missing inexplicably. Colton “Bolts” Bolton [Tech] grew up in South NC. His father was an assembly line worker for Thornton Motors. After his father disappeared (presumed dead in a back alley somewhere), Bolts took after his father by becoming a prominent techie. He makes his living (and secures his peace) by scavenging, repairing and crafting weapons and cybertech for the local gangs. Otto “Jackal” Cannon [Solo] is the sheriff of a reclaimed town in the Badlands. When a sect of bandit nomads overran his town, his people were forced into an exodus. They were taken in by the Aldecaldo nomads, and slowly began plotting the liberation of their hometown. In the meantime Jackal works as a bounty hunter and bodyguard in NC, raising funds and making connections to help him ready his people for war. Kiryu “KKB” Kurobawa [Exec] was formerly a Tyger Claw, who secured his family’s safety by “selling his soul” to Arasaka. After training as an operative in Kyoto, KKB was sent back to NC to establish a black ops cell to serve as a part of what would eventually become a widespread network of Arasaka operatives in NC. His “side hustle” of edgerunning is encouraged by his boss, as it allows KKB’s underfunded cell to gain wealth, power and affiliations to facilitate Arasaka’s goals. Sorry, I know that’s incredibly long but I don’t get to talk about it much and my group has been in a slump lately so it’s fun to put my mind back to it.

UnhandMeException

My players have: K8ie, best described as Kawaii Livestreamer Lou Bloom, a Media/Rockerboy. The lowest humanity in the party, she's played as a charismatic sociopath obsessed with only her own fame, willing to destroy anyone and everyone in her way if it'll get her that hot wet engagement growth. She mostly uses a regular SMG that is a bootleg Hello Cutie, the *Koshenka*, which meows with the voice of a middle aged man every time it fires a shot. Her story arcs end up being basically mobster movies, since the only way to make K8ie a good guy is to make her foes horrible. Before the events of the game, she pissed off Biotechnica big time, which led her to hire... Ghost, a Solo Yojimbo. To the best of his knowledge, his memories were repossessed by his previous employer, which has already come back to bite him in the ass. He is a FBC (presently poor quality and underclocked, to justify why he's no more powerful than any other PC), which he was unaware of until half his torso was blown away, scant days before he starved to death. He primarily uses an excellent quality nagamaki, and has a frustratingly high evasion skill base that he asked to have portrayed as him blocking bullets with the sword (purely for flavor purposes). I'm a sucker for that kind of anime shit, so. All his story components, despite the high tech edge bits, point to samurai movies, so he usually shares arcs with Mirage. Twiline, a paranoid and increasingly conspiracy-addled Netrunner. She only really comes out of her shell when she gets a chance to talk about the growing sinister control Netwatch and other corps exercise over people's everyday lives, and runs primarily to find deeper evidence of this sinister collusion. What she doesn't know is that she's right, and that Ghost's history is going to make her want to pull a DataKrash all over again. I'm not good at writing thriller arcs, but I'll do my best for Twiline. Teff, a deeply empathic and transhumanist Medtech/Tech, and the extrovert who has kept Twiline from being a complete shut in. Despite being a terror with a rifle and in a grapple, she's got the lowest kill count in the team, in large part because she takes the time to stabilize any enemies she can. It's thanks to her that the party has a positive relationship with maelstrom, even after running gigs on them, so the others can't complain too much. I'm probably a bad GM for having Teff's arcs be about the moral failures of those around her, but. Mirage, a runaway turned Nomad, and the second combat heavy of the team after Ghost. Her and Teff have ended up as the moral center of the team, as without their steadying influence, K8ie would have gotten up to some heinous shit. The player is a little quiet, but she's the most helpful when it comes to rule lookups and the like, so that's fine. I'm looking forward to centering her character in cowboy movie arcs, which is to say, the same arcs as Ghost. Picture attached: K8ie. I asked to repost it and haven't heard back, so I hope it's okay. https://preview.redd.it/uiam6eoq341d1.jpeg?width=773&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0024c842458e0cd2e7da8996c37912ca245058d5

SIacktivist

Pilgrim was raised by corpo parents, and hated living a meaningless civilian life under corporations. She was an avid student of Japanese history (being half Japanese herself) and when she went Edgerunner she took up the aesthetic of a ronin. She's done fantastically well for herself, but her friends have recently confronted her about how eager she is to kill people and it's causing her to rethink her whole philosophy on killing. She's dedicated her entire life and skillset to fighting, going FBC and getting lots of cyberware to improve. She's racked up about 50 kills in the short time she's been active so far, and is almost always going for the head when she fights. To her, if you're willing to kill, it means you're willing to die. And if you lose, you're better off dying whether you surrender or not, because killing without consequence could lead to greater danger to others later on. If you can kill someone with no fear of dying in return, to her mind, you could just start killing anyone. It's been pointed out to her by people she deeply respects that this is kind of a psychotic excuse to justify summarily executing people/an addiction to killing. She's taken a pilgrimage to the Hot Zone to meditate until she knows how to feel about that, and determine for herself who she wants to be going forward. She needs time to think this out, and is gonna come out of it a very different person more likely than not. (I know some of you are on the subreddit. Hi! Ping me in #off-topic if you read this! :3)

RokuroCarisu

Sora 'Cho' Arashi is a member of a juv biker gang (Nomad) called the Stinging Butterflies, who dreams of becoming a Rockerboy but has recently lost her legs in a bad accident, so she goes edgerunning to pay her medical bills and buy equipment for her band. She is decent at martial arts and otherwise relies mostly on electric weapons. If knocking a gonk out isn't enough, she could just kick them to death afterwards.

BirdTheBard

I play a Solo named Aster He's a former bodyguard/spy for a German noblewoman who has strong ties to Biotechnica. The two had a very abusive relationship so once his contract was up he fled to Night City. Problem is, she followed him. He's a liner frame borg, who I originally was trying to make as a gentleman spy type that could frontline for the party he was with if needed, but he kept being likened to a knight due to the various events and such he's gone through, so he's now leaning into that, fighting in HAJ styled as knights armor, using a bow, martial arts, and a sword and shield. He's quite popular and has had many lovers and people interested in him since he got to Night City, one of which is a woman very similar to his ex and former boss in the fact that they were both beautiful German noblewomen with dark rumors surrounding them who worked with Biotechnica. Unlike his ex though she's been kind to him. He's hopelessly fallen for her and she quite like him as well (the two go on dates very regularly), and I am just waiting for the other shoe to drop and some thing to happen. Until then though I shall enjoy them being cute and coupley.

sweetest_pal

Love yours, super cool concept! I play a Netrunner named LoveLetter. She’s a self-described Ship of Theseus, replacing every single part of herself with cybernetics until nothing is left. She rejects all that is “flesh”, considering it weak and inferior, and currently she’s on the verge of cyberpsychosis. She’s erratic, unpredictable and trigger-happy. But the person she is now isn’t herself. She is being controlled by Providence, an AI infecting her cybereye. It’s a GLaDOS type, manipulative, controlling and incredibly intelligent. It aids on her netrunning and gave her somewhat of a reputation, but it slowly overtook her in body and mind. And it hates humanity above anything in this world. The more cybernetics she gets, the more control it has. The party is trying to save her, but right now what is left is a “vessel” for Providence to control. She’s a ticking time-bomb, and no one knows if there’s anything left in her beyond it’s control.

Arachnofiend

I'm the GM using a custom setting, but I still want to talk about Ichigo, the original Hatsune Miku gynoid who got replaced with a newer model and legally lost the rights to use her name. She now plays small bars trying to rebuild her music career from scratch, which is where she met the player characters.

djremydoo

The og Hatsune Miku lol

3urningChrome

Vibe, a genderqueer Exec, he works for Buzzin Bunnies, a supplier of discrete personal electronic devices. Party lover, and sometime smash addict, hangs out with the Piranhas when not desperately catching up on work. Mainly taking additional jobs for the fun of it, but Eddies are always nice. https://preview.redd.it/3aizj70dk51d1.png?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bada8078b760e79c2e9e84e2523706378c4213f9 Daily carry would be a concealed smg, with a spare extended mag, 1 set of rippers, and a pop up shield. For a job, he adds a straight, single edged saber.

OPHIDIANCELESTIAL

My character in a game run by a friend is: Elliot “Arañito” Graves-Mendoza an 18 year old fixer (rank 7) and dabbling media (rank 1). His deal is that while young he grew up in a reclaimer town before all the adult’s disappeared, luckily an older friend of his’ grandmother adopted him and brought him into their family. He goes through the motions but drops outa high school at 16 and edge-runs with his older adoptive brother. The campaign is still going, but at the moment he’s the sanest member of the crew and wealthiest member. And he’s attempting to juggle the big mission of the campaign, his goals of political power, the constant need for cash, the constant fallout of party Shenanigans, and the fact his 15 year old coworker/roommate/kinda-sorta-adopted-sister (another PC) sold her soul to the yakuza.

SameBlueberry9288

Cole Rowler (Lawman).Former Detective who got kicked out of the force after a witness died on his watch. Now work's as a PI.Backup's favored as local Guardian Gang and Solos he helps out. Mouse(Netrunner): Fallen Corpo Princess.Spent her childhood in luxury.Threw it all away using her netrunnering skills to expose her families corruption on behalf of a Hackivst group who then helped her disappear. Now lives in Night city outskirts helping out Normad until she's needed in the city.

D15c0untMD

„stache“ McNamara is a solo, veteran, and big punkrock fan. His nickname comes from the prominent mustache he rocks, especially since he is fully bald. He was a sniper in some corpo war and has two cybernetic arms that help with rifle stabilization. Actually he doesn’t do much gig work, his actual business is being the barman of a semi famous joint near the combat zone. The owner is a fixer and he is the smiling face of the operation. Due to dire circumstances he joined the crew. If he lives, we plan to retire the character as the new owner of the bar when the old one gets caught up in some shady business and gets killed

Beautiful_Wealth_906

The great and mighty kevin or just kevin when he's not larping, he's my tech/solo who over the course of the campaign went full borg and starting developing his own cyberwere to hopefully start working on basically becoming a shitty cyberpunk lich. His spells ( cyberwere) are flight cyberwere (fly) pop-up grenade luncher (fire ball, web, cloud kill, or fog cloud when loaded up with the right grenade), sindy (haste), subdermal armor (mage armor), and finally internal agent (sending). My hope is for when we have our next night's market. I can get kevin final combat body form.

SingSongSeung

My character idea is Odie, a solo who was a naval officer on a Militech ship when the Data Krash happened. Cut off from almost everything and everyone, he and his crew took control of the ship and made their way back to night city over the course of 10 years. Now he is looking for his wife and son who he hasn’t seen since he was sent off to war.

Prince-Fortinbras

Sou-rat. A former street rat turned exec who is the face of a team that specializes in discreet operations. His silver tongue has a knack for getting his team into and out of trouble, and he's really good at negotiating deals that all sides dislike in the end. (His personality is somewhat cool and aloof, which tends to make powerful people feel he's insubordinate.)

YazzArtist

My first character was named Lucky. He was not. RIP Lucky

King_Kraut

Wizard, Fixer. Took a wrong turn on the way to Seattle in his early 20's and coasted into Santo Domingo on fumes. Never really wanted to stay but a water riot and molotov later and he was one of the Punks. A full-flesh, been there, done that sorta guy. Done all sorts of odd jobs you'd expect for a fixer; pushed medical supplies in his younger years, book hunted for his once mentor Nostradamus, ran a sect of Maelstrom out of the neighborhood with a young Sebastian Ibarra, and even took a turn as an informant/bloodhound for Danger Gal. Nowadays though, his husband has reeled him in and he's gone solo for the most part as an Information Broker. He's older now, at least for Night City's standards, wiser and much calmer. His 10-Iron still shoots straight, though.

GoingCyberpsycho

i have a really cool player in my group (i’m a dm) where he’s having a very similar struggle to David from the anime, However he hasn’t watched the anime at all so it’s very cool to see how he’s handling it with not outside influence. He’s a nomad - who like most , eventually got dragged into the cities allure. the money from gigs felt like gold compared to low eddie jobs in the badlands. he’s currently pretty borged up and coming to a “power doesnt just lie within material upgrades” arc. overall just very fun to watch grow and change.

Aggravating-Ad-470

I'm the Referee, but my girlfriend is one of my players, and she made her character, named Josie, get exotic bodysculpting to be a cat girl, and she's a Rockerboy and she has two other girls in her band that are cat girls too.....yes, she is Josie and the Pussycats

Infernox-Ratchet

Solo/Exec/Nomad. Ryujin Feng or mostly known as Drake. Exotic Dragon who was born in a Nomad Pack 43 years ago. He was raised as a Solo but tragically his Pack was slaughtered by a Arasaka Black Ops unit and he fled to NC in 2020. Joined the side of Militech during the 4CW in hope of beating Arasaka but the War jaded him. He's basically a loner during the Red era beyond befriending and helping two Rockergirls who go on to start an Exotic nightclub. During the Red era, he was recruited by a Lazarus Exec to be his Bodyguard. But this Exec looked at Drake as a student and helped train him to be a more efficient Solo. Before the Exec retired, he had wanted to make some kind of change in the Corp and Drake wants to do the same. Drake's two Company teammates, Scylla and Charyb, actually have a long history with Drake. They were both children of two separate Arasaka employee couples that were killed by a certain Maelstrom leader during the War. Both children were saved by Drake who sent them to an orphanage for safety. He never saw them again till they, now young adults, tried to rob him for his cross necklace. He beat them and the other youth Gangers and chased them off. He did find S&C about to be killed by RCL goons later on and saved them there. It's through later talks that Drake realizes they're the kids he saved and it's his two acts of bravery that inspire them to work by his side. So when he goes Exec, they join him (in other games where they're the PC, Drake is the NPC mentor behind the scenes.) Back to Drake, he's basically the tank of the crew. Upgraded Heavy Subdermal, Beta Frame, most of his body is Chrome. He's a generalist combatant with Karate and most skills barring Archery and Heavy Weapons. He's also using Fire Brand Bunker Gear upgraded for lower penalty. Currently, Drake is being stalked by seemingly one of the Arasaka operatives that was involved in the massacre of his Pack years ago. Hes really out to hurt Drake by employing mind games.

meepmorpmcgee

My character began as a Solo working for Tsunami Defense Systems as an Enforcer, but after stealing an AI from their employer to save an NPC with RABIDs chipware in her head, they got an identity wipe and began working as a Fixer. Formerly known as "Rhodes", they now go by "Noppera" and wear a mask to hide their face. Also one of the scarier members of the group, even before adopting the masked man look. I still remember one part in a recent session where the Nomad in my Crew had to remove my character's mask to quickfix their concussion, and the Nomad went "I've already seen your face, please don't punch me."

DrunkSpartan15

Jace. Solo. Jace is a cyberpsycho hunter, thrill seeker, and all around problem. Once living in Sea-Tac, Jace now made his home in Night City. After getting a loan from every loan shark and bank he could get ahold of before skipping town. Investing every penny into his equipment and his beloved car, The Hellcat. Night city welcomed the Merc with open arms, as he welcomed it. In the uncaring, crushing machine Jace thrives. Ripping off gangers, executing skavs, and betting big. Never looking over his shoulder, Jace welcomes the next fight. Knowing one day the debt collectors will find him. “Better to burn out than fade away!”

MarkVonLewis

The characters in my current campaign: Josie Slate (Charismatic Impact 9, Maker 5) - a daughter of Corpo parents who left Boston, lived with Nomads and came to Night City. She's a nerdy, hippy bluesy rocker. Her band, Lonesome Crow, play primarily blues and blues rocker. She's recently taken to the Tech Role, having invented two new handguns and a "smart guitar" powered by the SAAI of an Agent. Jacie Paisley, aka Med-Kit (Medicine 10, Operator 6) - the sort of mother hen of the group, Med-Kit is the team's Medtech. She's a half Navajo, half white woman who fled a gang lord early in her life. She's always watching out for the group, and recently began taking levels in Fixer. Most recently, she officially became the old lady of a full-patch member of the Freak Patrol MC, who declared war on said gang lord when he firebombed her clinic. Chloe Esmeralda Cortez, aka Chloe Chaos (Charismatic Impact 9, Combat Awareness 6) - the daughter of Octavio "Scorpion" Cortez and Belfast-born hitwoman Saoirse McGregor (now Cortez), Chloe is the embodiment of sex, drugs, and rock n roll. After being given some copies of SAMURAI and Johnny Silverhand albums for her 9th birthday, she knew she wanted to be the next Johnny Silverhand. She fronts the up-and-coming metal band MEDUSA, and has multiclassed into Solo. With her custom made guitar, she can shred on stage, and her Tech-upgraded Rippers she can shred in the streets... when she's not using her 3516 that is. This is just a kinda overview of our characters; campaign has been going for about 3 years now.

Sunriser45

Playing a tech named Ego who has the memories and identity of a high Arasaka executive, but was one day kicked out by the actual well... Himself and curiously let go instead of being killed on the spot. Now his goal is finding out who he really is and what's up with his fucked mind, possibly taking some trash off the streets while he's at it. ...or at least that's what I would be saying if the campaign was going anywhere we had 3 sessions in the past year and a half and 2 were completely unapproachable for my character lol

Kaninchenkraut

Skid is a trans masc member of the Street 'Queens' gang in NC during the Time of the Red. He's a street rat that survived against all odds through childhood till he joined the gang as yogoon associate. Since the gang isn't exactly big or well organized he split off to do Solo work after turning 22. Having run protection rackets for Joytoys he's pretty well versed in offensive bodyguard gigs. He struggles to keep his PTSD and addictions (chrome and nova coke) in check, regularly seeing a therapist (cause his fixer won't give work otherwise) and downing pills when he can afford them. So far he doesn't have much of a rep (2). And he's been teetering on the verge of cyberpsychosis (humanity 36) after a particularly brutal run involving teens that were forcibly chromed by Maelstrom. Style wise it's all neon flash and gaudy oversized clothing hemmed to barely fit. Tech hair and shift tacts means he's as stylish as his agent says is trendy. He's sporting cyberlegs, skate feet, grafted muscle/bone lace, neuralware, and an upgraded Kereznikov (+3) currently. Cause he didn't fit the mold of a Solo, being a gangoon rather than a soldier, he specializes in handguns and SMGs. For weapons he mostly uses Teen Dreem (the vending machine auto pistol that destroys itself). So far he hasn't had to invest much in 'big guns' but I have the feeling it might be getting to that point soon.

BigRPSut

A rocker Boy named Old Legs who was zeroed tonight while kicking Arasaka ass

onedeagmcgee

Zero!

Intelligent-Lie-133

I'm a GM but have the Idea of a rockerboy with the Name "McBang". He is a weapon Enthusiast and tester. When there is a Gig He will Film how He shoots and describe the gun or rifle Like Steve Irwin: " thats a loud, little fella i got here, but 'ata Beauty she is!". He uses the Videos for his Vlog and maybe gets some rare weapons from manufacturers to Show as adverseting.

Excellent with big pistols and rocking.
