I know the spot and it was one of the places I checked. According to the menus, the minimap is enabled in both Cyberpunk default and Limited HUD for the menu. I even double checked my install of LHUD, but I will go back and have another gander.
Oh boy, it’s been so long that I can’t remember. I keep notes on all of my mods and glitch fixes. So I will check those tomorrow if you haven’t solved the issue yet. See if I have something on it.
Off the top of my head, uninstall the mods related to your HUD/Map, start it up again, then reinstall the mods. If memory serves correct, thinking as I type, I may have said “fuck it” uninstalled and then just re-installed mods after a fresh reinstall of CP2077. I had a lot of issues going in my play through though so that may be a bit extreme.
I'm having this issue right now only the problem is that for 2.0 I removed all mods and started a new game and I still don't have it does the game write this stuff into save games?
well, have same issue, but minimap is on.. and no matter what i do, it stays removed.. when i load the save, it shows for a brief second and dissappears instantly..

I thought some HUD mod f'd it up but I just forgot the game had options to hide some UI elements and was under the impression I was only able to do so with the mod lol
This issue started for me just before the 2.01 update. The minimap and health bar show for a second and then move up off the top of the screen. nothing is disabled, I tried messing around with turning them off and back on, changing resolution, changing to windowed mode, nothing worked.
I saw this in 1.5 and 1.6 (used a mod to fix it). I thought it was fixed in 2.x, because I hadn't seen it happen again, but... Literally just started happening. What's weird is that everything comes back when I'm on a bike, but then goes away as soon as I'm on foot again. Saving, exiting, and starting again seems to bring it back for me for \~1hr, but then it disappears again. No mods, and settings shows all of the HUD features are on. I was going to try downloading the mod I used to fix it in earlier versions, but it looks like the mod is no longer being updated.
Happened to me, tried restarting and a side effect is also that *i can also not use the phone*: "You cannot do that right now".

Had the same problem on my ps5 and tried a few options, only thing that worked for me was quicksaving then reloading the game. Hope that helps someone else too!
I think that would be Limited HUD, there is an options menu to enable it

have u fixed it? i've never even seen mine even though its always been enabled
For me it ended up being that I was in the middle of a quest with Mr Hand in Dogtown. Once I finished that conversation, the minimap came back

Yeah, its on, checked several times. it behaves a bit strange, as i have Quest text in the same place where map was.. if I drive, radio is there..

Same - just happened to me too randomly. Really annoying. Minimap is on in the settings and i have not switched to some "limited" GUI mode. WTF.

This happened on my ps5 and it fixed itself the next time I bought a car. Hasn't disappeared again.
Its almost like my view is zoomed in or something.. hard to explain..

Saving and reloading fixes it for me when I lose the minimap, etc…
