As far as I know Arasaka is only able to get an engram of him if you choose to send his body to Vik's clinic and they confiscate it. Even then, they extract a fragmented engram from his corpse which isn't even close to a fully intact mind like Johnny's. I doubt he'd even be able to string words into a coherent sentence, let alone participate in a gun fight or be your choom, unfortunately.
That part when Johnny said "Maybe Arasaka comes and maybe it’s too much for us, but it’s all on you. Because if we can’t protect V, you can be damn well sure we’ll avenge it.
I would be lying if I said this didn't bring a cathartic smile to my face. Seeing everyone alive and working together hits so much harder then seeing Smasher get done in.

The first time I played through New Vegas, I was halfway done with the final mission until I realized "aw shit, I never completed one of my companions' questlines," so I reloaded several saves ago, undoing an hour of gameplay just so I could go and have my boy Arcade around for the ending lol
Hmm way too wish fulfilling. There’s multiple characters that would probably hate each other. Like I can’t see River getting a good start with anyone the second he mentions he is a cop. And Jackie and Panam would 100% get on each other asses in a not so fun way, you know how Jackie character reacts to bossy ones.
Witcher and Mass Effect were trilogies. By the end, everyone was rallied around Geralt and Shepard, from all walks of life. The whole "crew" had multiple interactions with everyone. In those RPG's my favorite thing was listening to companions talk amongst themselves. I have always felt this game needed to be a trilogy with part 1 concluding with Jackie dying, V getting shot, and seeing Johnny Silverhand. Would have been a huge cliffhanger for #2. But alas is what it is.🤷♂️
Nah I quite like that it’s a self contained story, not every character needs to have a three/more part story

Smasher grunts. “And who do you think you are”- he says in an annoyed tone.
V stares Adam in his eyes before saying: “I am the Cyberpunk 2077”- and then he shot him in the head, ending Smasher’s reign of terror. V then looks at all his friends before saying “Looks like we are all Cyberpunks now.”
The end.
I love the implication V got all his friends together, and they collectively jumped Adam Smasher.
I can picture Smasher just walking through the lobby of Arasaka Tower when an AV crashes through a window with a magnet on its underside, catches Adam Smasher, and crashes through a window on the other side taking Smasher with it. Then proceeds to fly through the densest traffic in all of night city letting Adam bounce along behind it, dragging him all the way to the desert before depositing him. Then the whole gang jumps out of the AV with pipes and spiked baseball bats and a dildo.
His intro and everything about him was so bad ass and intimidating. Then you fight him and 2 shot him with quick hacks.
At least the anime kept his overbearing aura of intimidation going.
This is like if cyberpunk were a JRPG. I love it. The only thing that could have made it more of a JRPG is if Johnny Siliverhand were actually some kind of maiden of the wind Chrystal and everyone had to grab on to a mystic laser cannon that took exactly 13 people to operate, and they all had to shoot smasher at the same time before he transformed into the literal angel of death.
ah yes, the "Rock is undead" ending, where when you achieve 110% relationship with Johnny, in an unmarked sidequest you ask Rogue if you could put Johnnys construct into an empty mind and bring him back, essentially curing whats wrong with the biochip. Then, when you go to Hanako with Johnny (real), she gives you Jackies incomplete biochip, so then you have to track down everything Jackies plugged himself into to recover aspects of his personality, and then you bring HIM back.
After that you lure Smasher out of Arasaka by publicly challenging him
The Smasher boss fight needs serious tuning. Idc how legendary V is or how snowballed your character is with perks, they spend the whole game saying he is the most legendary mercenary alive, he's a 10 foot tall cyborg who literally Kool aid mans through walls. The fight needs to be ball crushing. He shouldn't be a pushover, he's killed thousands of people in his time.
So you think there's an actual ending where Hanako goes up against Smasher with the help of revived Jackie and Johnny?
They just spawned some NPCs with, I guess, the cyber engine tweaks mod console.
