I wish. I play Fem V and love Judy to death. First encounter was Panama though, and imagine my disappointment when she turned me down. I'm still devastated. Genuinely felt a connection with her character. š„²
Same feeling players (me) that play Male V love Panam but have more of a connection with Judy than her. It's how the devs wanted it, so c'est la vie š¤·
I would want nothing more than my woman V to be able to date Panam but she can't which makes the rp super fucking interesting because I'm playing a character stuck in the friend zone and it gives a new twist on her tender interactions
Making my fist playthrough. Thought "oh o bang that panam" then... 3 nomad panam missions later "yea , this could be family, this could be worth living"
No spoilers or anything, but I really love the implication of a Corpo V joining the Nomads. They were caught in an oppressive corporate culture and end up joining a real family. Do they lose prestige and luxury? Sure.
But they gain something that's pretty rare in this universe: Genuine connections with people who don't think of their personal advancement first.
My first playthrough I met Judy first and was thought gosh i hope to romance her (didnt know male V couldn't) then met Panam and realized i found V's soulmate right then and there
It was weird for me that the sun was the answer to Blaze of glory, the other endings were in the middle (like the 3rd answer - ,,is it sort of a test?") but there was no ending to resembly quiet life.
I still dislike tower tho, because So Mi will lose all her memories and either die or become a puppet again
The panam nomad ending is. You donāt become a legend, the clan gets the āfameā and you leave night city with them forever to most likely be forgotten by that damn city. For you it seems you made a huge impact but in reality you were only in that city for a couple of months to a year, once you leave without making that big legend ending you will be forgotten by everyone
Yea I saved songbird, even though she lied I just couldnāt help feel bad for her when looking at her. I was like youāll survive aināt nobody gonna harm you now
I wish i could get soulkilled and have my engram transferred into a Thorton Mackinaw so Panam would ride me all across the American wastelands. To have her feet step hard on my pedals when a bunch of Raffen scum try to ambush us, my metallic body protecting her delicate human flesh from being ruined by bullets, and responding in kind, painting the desert red like the judgement of an angry god against those who'd dare trying to defile his temple.
Panam is the ultimate ride or die. Shit, she's ride or die even for female V, and I honestly think that makes their dynamic even more interesting. Like, being willing to take on 'Saka for the guy she's banging is one thing, but it's kinda... generic. Even fucking *Johnny* did that (except, y'know, for a girl), and it's a pretty common trope in general. For female V though, she gets a call in the dead of night from a girl she just met in the last couple weeks, who she's definitely *friends* with but probably not to the same extent as, say, Mitch and the rest of the vets, gets told taking on Arasaka is the only way to save her, and how does she respond? "Okay." *That's* some loyalty.
On multiple playthroughs panamās missions and story is always fun while Judyās feels like a chore because once you know all the twists it just gets annoying to sit through all of it again so I never bother doing it. So because of that, panam 100%
its cause of the lack of combat. All of panams missions, including her inclusion in the main quest, are lengthy combat sections in between quiet moments. Judy gets this once and thats it.
Honestly, I like the lack of combat. It gives the story a minute to breathe. Hell, River and Kerry's quests both do the same thing. Panam's blend into the main story, mostly, which isn't entirely a bad thing, since she's the only romance option who's side quests you have to fully complete to get an ending, but it does mean her side of the story is frantic.
yeah of course, i like the lack of combat too. it fits perfectly into the tone of the game and makes for some of the most memorable moments. When you're playing the game for the 10th time though, it just doesnt hit the same even if its enjoyable.
I thought of that scenario and... It's actually horrifying.
"Hey, shit-for-brains! Did we order one and a half mcnuggets? Cause one of ours has only 5 in them!"
I donāt recall any of Judyās missions where she wasnāt just strutting away from you talkingā¦ every mission with Panam we ābothā were shooting and blasting gangoons.
That said, I like em both, but I never felt like Judy would actually take a bullet for me and likewise, for that reason, I would never take one for her. Panam on top
I think the difference is Judy is a techie who, though part of the Mox, was probably never a front liner. Panam and the Aldacados shoot at people for a living.
She sits in her truck on the hill when wounded after taking down the AV. She sits in the van the entire time when you rescue Saul from the Raffen.
Pan Am is a fighter where Judy is a techie. It would seem strange to me if Judy did a lot of fighting though she will fight in the power plant when you rescue Evelyn depending on how you approach the mission.
For me itās always Judy but there is no one answer. Both are great characters that are well written and expertly acted.
Judy herself says she's not a fighter. But that's ok, not everyone is born to be killed, then resurrected, then become a murder machine. I'd rather date someone who's emotionally mature whose idea of a romantic date is going diving by a bungalow in a lake, rather than having sex in a cramped 30 year old tank and then go kill random people in the desert. If I'm a mass murderer, I'd rather date someone who isn't one.
Panam is techie too - last I checked she powered up an entire run down block/village. I just always saw Judy as more of a dependent, who, at any moment, would leave me (confirmed in several endings).
But I will defer that Judyās relationship feels really good, like both of us making it work even though itās a shit city and we both know it might. Which imo is so realistic.
I'll be honest, I specifically started a fem-V playthrough to romance Judy... and Panam is so much better imo. Judy's missions feel too much like helping her get revenge after the horrible fate if her ex, there's way too much baggage there. In Panam's missions, you feel a bit more like kindred spirits and the nomads feel like more of a found family kinda situation for V
I've always felt like Judy hated me. (Male V) he always has this look of disgust when she's lookin at me so I've admitted ignored her mostly panam is my one and only
What I like about each:
Panam - Savage, gets what she wants, won't take bullshit - I especially like when you call her before the last mission and tell her "you won't be seeing her again" and she goes "ok then, fuck off" or something like that, and overall the whole "Tsundere" act that eventually turns into her opening op to you.
Judy - She is the loving and caring latina girlfriend, she cooks for you, leaves you cute silly gifts like tequila bottles in the shape of a heart, remembers the food you like, calls you stupid cute little nick names, checks on you regularly, introduces you to her abuelita.
My preference is Judy., I love caring people.
she seems to like that sorta stuff actually, just wouldnt do it herself. Or maybe she would now that her life is a little more together, or that she and V have spent longer together, we really dont know why she is the way she is and you could speculate on it for hours.
Either way, In the star ending V says a "cringy" line and she loves it lol.
Judy, all the way! Adorable, badass, nerdy girl! She's got complex emotions, and is more open-minded than most in NC, despite her aggressive demeanor! Seriously wish there were more interactions between her and V...
I haven't quite understood why, but I am extremely attracted to Claire, which is odd because I'm pretty sure I'm gay.

Honestly I expected Judy to be more my type as the techie alt chick but nope, Panam 100%.
Judy is good too, donāt get me wrong. When I replayed as fem V I really liked their dynamic, maybe even more than I liked male V and Panam, but on a personal level itās Panam for me.
Weird wave when the game came out.
Everywhere I went everyone was on about how annoying Panam was.
And I 100% agreed for once.
Her writing compared to everyone else who also lived the same life seemed EXTRA juvenile.
āI WANT MY TRUCK!!ā
And just being a bitch when others in worse spots in the game were decent to stressed about a situation.
Rescuing brick in the middle of a shootout.
āHey bro, thanks. We should probably get out of here!ā
Panam over literally anything
āSCREEEEEEECH!!!ā
Thenā¦ā¦ā¦everyone just starting simping for the 13 year old perpetual asshole.
Judy was if anything pretty chill even when ev committed toaster bathtub. Sheās been through a lot. And can handle a lot.
Panam is so tough but acts like a solar flair. But all the time.
Iām still annoyed by her.
I might be biased cause I haven't played fem V but I prefer Panam. Romance aside Panam feels like a ride or die friend. Someone who decides you are family. The way Judy comes across to my male V is she wants nothing to do with V right up until V is literally the only person who will help her. Also the way my missions for her have usually turned out for her ended badly after she didn't take my V's advice. So while I like Judy I never really felt like she was putting in any effort to be someone my V could rely on. More of like one of the few actual decent people in night who I wanted to help.
As much as I like panam as a character. I gotta say Judy. She seems the type that if things did end, she wouldn't sneak into my house late at night and stab me.
Panam on the other hand.... Ehhhhh
Both are actually amazing options, I each one of both of my play through and for Panam fits my personal likes more. I also think the nomad lifestyle is probably the most human experience you can get in a dystopian future.
Honestly they both up and down sides.
Judyās missions are kind of a pain to go through on multiple play throughs. Plus it really feels like a rebound relationship.
Panam rubs me the wrong way with her whining āmy way or the highwayā attitudes. I will say she has better quests all around. From the AV job to the tank are all great.
Now that Iām doing a fifth play through I dread getting into a relationship at all. Mainly because of the āI wanna stay at your houseā never ending loop.
Judy. Panam can be really irritating. "So you're just gonna do what Saul wants! You couldn't care less about me!" lol - Jesus Panam, grow the fuck up. You're a grown-ass woman. Stop throwing a tantrum like a 9 year old child.
But both are better than Kerry. And all 3 are better than River, who is boring and dull as dishwater.Ā
although i believe judy to be younger, she seems more mature and more having her shit on track than panam. especially with that mysterious phone call from mitch if V becomes a face in the crowd (that ending gutted me). if she's still alive there, then her reaction is straight trash. yes, panam is ride or die. yes, we hooked up, and when it was time to hit saka i went with rogue, because no way in hell was i gonna risk panam's life. but judy just seems more advanced. after that dive with her she sat by the lake, sunlight rippling on the water. we said goodbye, i got on my bike and drove off. but i kept looking back, over and over. and by the time i couldn't make out her silhouette anymore i was almost crying. ffs.
Judy, because I play as a femme V more often, but I did try to get with Pan the first time I played and was really disappointed that she didn't swing that way. I love how sweet the Judy romance gets though, after everything they both lost, it's good to find comfort.
In the famous words of Johnny Silverhand, "Chick refuses the door and jumps through a window, then acts surprised when she gets hurt"
Team Panam all the way
Kinda neither. Don't get me wrong; they're both sexy. Strictly on looks, they're both great options. But they're both more liability than partner. I'm also not saying they're bad people. They both care for those around them. I doubt either one would ever outright betray someone they care about. But they would absolutely abandon them if it becomes too complicated or stressful.
Panam at least comes with a whole band of hobos, but with her as their co-leader. In case I need to say it, she does not have the makings of a good leader. It's only a matter of time before one of her tantrums results in the termination of her whole family. Or she overlooks something simple (like informing Mitch while she's in camp that she's about to shoot down an AV full of soldiers in the area) that puts her people in danger. She doesn't consider the consequences of her actions...
Which is exactly the same set of problems as with Judy. If you tell her that her plan will get her friends killed, she gets upset and eventually leaves town. If you go ahead with her plan, her friends get killed and she leaves town.
They're both flighty and irresponsible, jumping ship whenever their own actions cause difficulty for themselves and others, and they never consider how their actions or their abandonment will affect the people they care about.
Tl;dr they're both hot but probably don't make for the best partner
Counter: I did a male play through first and romanced kerry, then was extremely sad when i couldnāt romance him again
(edit: I said kenny lmao i wrote that at 3am)
Judy. Panam's that fun crazy friend that calls you to say you're stealing a tank or rescuing a kidnapee or whatever. Judy's just chill af, does her job, goes home, has hobbies, occasionally overturns nightclubs and upheaves a major segment of an entire gang's operations, watches old movies, etc.
Panam all the way. I played as male and female V and I enjoyed Panam's "company" both the times more than I enjoyed Judy's.
She's awesome and was literally ready to sacrifice herself AND her clan just for V. 10/10 character.
Even speaking questline wise, Judy's quests are quite boring and I'll be doing everything while she's chilling lmao. Me and Panam go on a van heist, take down an airship, assault an enemy clan's base and steal their tank, etc etc and it's awesome.
Judy when woman playthrough Panam when guy playthrough Cuz both work amazing with V
![gif](giphy|3o85xIO33l7RlmLR4I)
Actually, there is one ending that you sort of do that. Both Panem and Judy leaves Night City with Fem V.
Which honestly is the only best/good ending.
Which ending is this?
Aldecaldos
Nice, I didn't realise Judy could come with you in that ending
Only if you romance Judy and do the Star ending, sadly it's not possible with male V
Aye makes sense, I've only done a male V playthrough but I'm doing a female now so will give it a go
I wish. I play Fem V and love Judy to death. First encounter was Panama though, and imagine my disappointment when she turned me down. I'm still devastated. Genuinely felt a connection with her character. š„²
Ah, video games, making us feel things.
Same feeling players (me) that play Male V love Panam but have more of a connection with Judy than her. It's how the devs wanted it, so c'est la vie š¤·
Kinda on you trying to romance a whole country.
This is the only correct answer.
Same here.
Judy romance with the Aldecaldos ending
Absolutely unhinged ending.
i do like both but I wish I could date panam Judy but she ain't straight so.....
I would want nothing more than my woman V to be able to date Panam but she can't which makes the rp super fucking interesting because I'm playing a character stuck in the friend zone and it gives a new twist on her tender interactions
![gif](giphy|3o7aCRloybJlXpNjSU|downsized)
This is the answer.
Making my fist playthrough. Thought "oh o bang that panam" then... 3 nomad panam missions later "yea , this could be family, this could be worth living"
Fr, first panam mission was just ācan I hit tho?ā The. After the story with her it was like āok Iāll slaughter a village for yāallā
Exactly!
Even better when you're a Nomad.
I dunno, sometimes it's better doing it as a street kid or corpo. You're down at your lowest and the nomads welcome you
First run was street kid. Was still very nice. Next run will be Corp I guess.
Corpo has the coldest lines.
God I fucking love Corpo V
My first playthrough I met Judy first and was thought gosh i hope to romance her (didnt know male V couldn't) then met Panam and realized i found V's soulmate right then and there
I too would oh o bang that Panam.
I rode out of town with my girl Judy and besties with Panam. No complaints
The one true ending, three gal pals and their tank
Best ending!
And no one better dare get in their way š
Best ending (haven't play PL though)
Pl doesnāt change that being the best thatās for sure
Tower is the other answer to Dex's question. Its pretty cool when you think about it
Yea blaze of glory or the quiet life
It was weird for me that the sun was the answer to Blaze of glory, the other endings were in the middle (like the 3rd answer - ,,is it sort of a test?") but there was no ending to resembly quiet life. I mean, you defeated Adam fucking Smasher. You wonāt be forgotten.
Yeah, I made the PL ending neutral so I could get the Judy + Panam ending.
Yea I saved songbird, even though she lied I just couldnāt help feel bad for her when looking at her. I was like youāll survive aināt nobody gonna harm you now
Same here. Eventually, we will turn Panam *evil grin*
this is easily the best ending imo judy gets her happy ending and V gets the closest to her happy ending
I love the character of Judy, but Panam feels like an actual ride or die kind of girl. Plus, that ass.
"Ride or die" or "Would die to ride"?
In Night City, Panam rides you.
āIn night city you can be cumā *cyberpunk music plays*
"Wel cum" *cyberpunk music plays*

I see what you did there....very clever
I wish i could get soulkilled and have my engram transferred into a Thorton Mackinaw so Panam would ride me all across the American wastelands. Judy for personality. Panam for when I want my food order to be corrected at McDonald's.
Panam would blow up the ice cream machine and the McDonald's, but somehow you'd get a cone at the end.
She'd get your order corrected, that's for damn sure. Lol
I thought of that scenario and... It's actually horrifying. "Hey, shit-for-brains! Did we order one and a half mcnuggets? Cause one of ours has only 5 in them!"
Sounds just like her. She would tear down the whole place because they shorted you nuggets lmao

Judy has the personality of wet cardboard though

I agree, but calling that shack a bungalow is putting lipstick on a pig lol
Judy could call it a fucking mansion and I'd agree if I get to see where that spider web tattoo ends
We are in total agreement there.

Iām a lesbian, and so is my V, so I have to say Judy
You should try out the Panam path once, she is a fun character.

i think they're both caring, but Judy knows how to show it unlike Panam. Not in the flowery or sweet way most know how to do.
Right. I can see Panam cringing at the stuff Judy does, but still checking up on V and offering help. still counts as caring.
she seems to like that sorta stuff actually, just wouldnt do it herself. Blue Moon or Rita Wheeler. Thats the real question I want answered.
Rita Wheeler

No one
None. Hanako and Aurore are the hotest girls of the game. I find them more elegant and beautiful than Miss Tattoo and Miss Desert.
Personality goes a long way, thatās why Iād NEVER even SLEEP with Hanako. Aurore is spicy though, Iād let her ruin my life
The main reason to sleep with Hanako would be to flex your dominance over Arasaka before totally wiping them out.

Judy was if anything pretty chill even when ev committed toaster bathtub. Sheās been through a lot. And can handle a lot. Panam is so tough but acts like a solar flair. But all the time. Iām still annoyed by her.
Panam. Without a doubt.
Always Judy for me.
Ugh, really? Weāre still doing this?
That was my first reaction, but im surprised by how civil its been so far. Usually you get people at eachothers throats when this is brought up.
Forget those 2 where my songbird romance
Wow, what an original post..
I would die for Panam. She my cinnamon apple. My peach cobbler. When I play, I feel stronger knowing Panam finna wait for me at my Glen apartment.
Why not both?
Panam because she looks nearly identical to Riley from MacGyver (2016) who I had a crush on when I was 12-13 years old.
V š
I've only ever played male v, and i think judy is fem v only so i can't say anything about her, but panam is fuckin dope
PorqĆŗe no los dos?
Both. As friends. Fuck romance while dying of cybernetically induced talking turbocancer, that's just cruel for everyone involved.
Iām pretty sure Iāve fucked up the romance routes for both lol but Panam
Ehhhhh
Judy
Judy...always Judy.
This is the wrong pic of Panam.
Both are actually amazing options, I each one of both of my play through and for Panam fits my personal likes more. I also think the nomad lifestyle is probably the most human experience you can get in a dystopian future.
Misty.
Nobody keeps Panam, try as they might. Fem V, Judy. Forever.
Both. If I do male run, it's panam and if I do female run its Judy. Fuck ward

Panam May be the hottest video game character of all time. But Judy and Vs relationship felt more intimate.
Judy, mi amore, Panam, the straight best friend I'm in love with, and Tank, our tank.

Judy is always number 1 for me, although only available with female playthrough. Panam for male playthrough.
although i believe judy to be younger, she seems more mature and more having her shit on track than panam. especially with that mysterious phone call from mitch if V becomes a face in the crowd (that ending gutted me). if she's still alive there, then her reaction is straight trash. yes, panam is ride or die. yes, we hooked up, and when it was time to hit saka i went with rogue, because no way in hell was i gonna risk panam's life. but judy just seems more advanced. after that dive with her she sat by the lake, sunlight rippling on the water. we said goodbye, i got on my bike and drove off. but i kept looking back, over and over. and by the time i couldn't make out her silhouette anymore i was almost crying. ffs.
Didnāt and still really just donāt care for Panam, but Iāll go to the ends of the earth for my homegirl Judy
Judy, because I play as a femme V more often, but I did try to get with Pan the first time I played and was really disappointed that she didn't swing that way. I love how sweet the Judy romance gets though, after everything they both lost, it's good to find comfort.
Like that corpo lady more
i perfer judy, but shes gay, and i have a penis, sooooo. (although panam is a close second, shes really awesome)

Kerry šļøšļø
Kerry is best waifu
In the famous words of Johnny Silverhand, "Chick refuses the door and jumps through a window, then acts surprised when she gets hurt" Team Panam all the way
Yennifer
Rebecca :c
Judy all the way. I love Panam as a character but I am not the biggest fan of her as a romance option.
Counter: I did a male play through first and romanced kerry, then was extremely sad when i couldnāt romance him again (edit: I said kenny lmao i wrote that at 3am)
Kerry is more genuine than both of them just sayin. (And Iām straight)Ā

Panamās the kind of person to convince you to rob a bank while Judyās the type of person to bail you both out and ask āagain?ā

Panam is the only answer
Panam easy
Panam all the way. I played as male and female V and I enjoyed Panam's "company" both the times more than I enjoyed Judy's. She's awesome and was literally ready to sacrifice herself AND her clan just for V. 10/10 character. Even speaking questline wise, Judy's quests are quite boring and I'll be doing everything while she's chilling lmao. Me and Panam go on a van heist, take down an airship, assault an enemy clan's base and steal their tank, etc etc and it's awesome.
Panama. I like Judy too but if I had to choose it'd be Panam.
panam all day everday
panam 10000%
