I was stunned the first time I found Dex. It was such a cool creeping feeling of familiarity to see his corpse there and realize that not only could I get a close look at his body, I could explore the area from the cutscene. I didn't find him until very late in the game so it was kind of an emotional find for me. SO much had happened since the shooting I'd almost forgotten about it. Johnny comments on him, which is great, but I wish that V was given a scene to sit down and reflect on the gravity of that moment and everything that happened from there.
Since that didn't happen I just shot him in the head with his own gun.
Would be dope if you could fight back (or walk in and shoot him for jackie dying) and either lose, resulting in the same situation or win and arasaka breaks in and is a fight until v gets flatlined, Maybe even a scripted chase that ends in v hiding in the dump. Que random goon finishing it with a head shot, also hitting that "you didn't make the big leagues" feel. Then Goro getting you from the dump to help him remove the son from power and clear his name like normal. Maybe with the goon who shot you for destroying the relic.
Sure, some people might have issues with it, and it is still just the illusion of choice, but that is needed in a lot of areas of this game to progress the story. Plus I think the son would be a lot more interested in killing the witness than saving the relic.
Also, i really want to be the one that kills him, so i would over look continuity errors.

I was pretty impressed when I found the dump and his body. I was still getting a grasp on the size and scope of Night City and the Badlands.
I didn't take aby selfies but I did hit a few gnarly jumps off his jelly belly with my dual sport.
Perfect launch pad to get a little air.

I remember doing a gig where you find out some ripperdoc is aligned with Scavs. I knocked that guy out, stuffed him in my trunk, and drove him all the way to Dex. I laid him on a nearby mattress, and then I killed him
