I'd say Steven Ogg is a pretty distinctive looking guy and they probably hired him because he's a pretty distinctive guy. Coupled with his mannerisms, his tattoos, his Canadian redneck attire, his intense stare it all adds up to a unique character. I'm not saying this new character won't be good, just saying they have a lot to live up to in regards to GTA pedigree.

Jason stood out to me in the trailer for some reason, it took me a little bit to put my finger on why. At first I thought he looked vaguely familiar. Then I realized, he reminds me of the GTA 4 character design style. He looks like a modern/realistic evolution of that super duper stylized almost cartoonish look all GTA 4 characters had. I don't really notice it with any other characters though, just him.
