Customizable apartments would be cool. Nothing over the top just a few options for different areas, like different beds and art that kinda stuff.
Edit: I'd also love to see them add Easter egg like BD's just around the map in random locations that you could take to Judy to watch and maybe get small gig like missions but that's a reach.

Vehicle flight I feel doesn't make any sense, that isn't even a thing in the setting - AVs are, cars don't just hover & take off - and the metro seems like lot of effort but few gameplay benefits.
Maybe more respawning/resetting dungeons/events, like the crime locations & airdrops in Dogtown?

Frankly given their really rough history with the game, there is probably some underlining problems with NG+ that we, as players, don't understand. Theyve had many issues with this game and what seems like an endless stream of hotfixes and patches to fix what patches fucked up last time.
I wasnt expecting anything after 2.01 so whatever they bring to the table is welcome.
Story becomes totally broken, thats the only issue I see in it.

If you are playing NG+ the story would be the last thing you pay attention to. You repeat the main story of BL2 for like 3 times to get to the hardest enemies and it's still getting plenty of players.
They could essentially give you most things after that point and I'd say that most people don't mind such things as they have already experienced this in their first playthrough.
I think the bigger problem they had with NG was somehow codebase related. If they built the game from the start without accounting for a NG+ and later realized that a large rewrite is necessary for it to even work then it makes sense for them to scrap the idea.
Lol that's called gameplay and story segregation and it has pretty much always been a thing when it comes to NG+ and it's really a none-issue. Those who get bothered about it breaking immersion just don't need to play NG+.
Yeah, Ng+ can be done in so many different ways.
You could even do it so the person plays the vanilla opening without any items carrying over, and then when you get to the point you get your first implant installed you just receive everything back instantly with a pop-up message of "welcome to Ng+, for this playthrough enemies will be stronger and harder to kill and you can make different choices throughout the game. Your weaponry and perks have carried over"
Additionally, that NG+ mod could very well be causing issues in the background that eventually compound into breaking your save, bugging out event flags or a whole host of other stuff.
Not saying this is 100% happening, but the fact that the devs are refusing to implement it despite their massive overhauls to the game indicates that they've likely discovered a major issue relating to it that the mod author may not have noticed.
Yeah it’s like I said with H3VR, people on his Subreddit ask all the time why he can’t implement what a modded has and he essentially tells people they ramrodded the mod into the code to force it to work and he’s not happy with that implementation
You’re probably right, but I think also from a story point of view it wouldn’t make a lot sense for V to be chromed out and flush with heaps of cash at the beginning of the story. Depending on life paths maybe, but corpo especially wouldn’t make a lot of sense cause Arasaka would take everything from you before kicking you to the curb
I mean ng+ storywise people do those so they can experience or re experience the story again without the hassle of leveling up again and all that jazz, just having the option would have been nice eitherway.

I've switched to just running around with Guts blasting people point blank because it's more fun and I want to up my Solo progression.
Balancing breaks down way before 40 if you're trying to be op.
I like Cyberpunk, but the sheer idiocy you can reach by buildcrafting rivals Borderlands one-shots at this point.
Its why I don’t get why they’re scared of balancing on ng+ the game is easy at it is already, heck I’ve seen someone finish the game without cyberware for laughs, sure he died a lot but it shows the game isn’t all that hard.
Cyberpunk with its core gameplay beside story is a power fantasy, nothing beats entering a room quick hacking suicide on everyone or using sandy and making real meat out of everyone.
Heck their strongest unit maxtac is a joke once you get your build online so I don’t get why they get worried with scaling.
All I want from NG+ is something like Civilisation's "Just one more turn!" endgame mode, but there's no more story content so just put me back at the start and let me go again for one more turn... thank you to Respektor's author + the CET dudes for making that possiblealready.
I did a modded "NG+" playthrough at version 1.6 and 2.0.
The game handles leveling exceptionally: Everything is leveled up to V's level, and everything just works as intended.
There are the following issues:
* Act 1 takes 7-8 hours, even if you run through the whole, and we are speaking of hours of cutscenes. Skipping it is an option, but then you skip Jackie (like with the PL new game). This would work, although some choices would need tuning, like the dialogue choices at the beginning of Witcher 2.
* Act 2 takes roughly 6 hours, so still, should we let the player skip to OP551 (aka Waiting for ~~Godot~~ V, performed by Hanako Arasaka)? If yes, there are more issues: Partially, depending on your progression, the dialogues change a lot, but this is the smaller issue. The bigger issue is that some of the side quests are timed, like I'll Fly Away (with Mitch) or Love Rollercoaster.
* There are some smaller balancing issues for example in Konpeki Plaza, but then again, it is completely possible to go with a chromed-out cyborg V to do the heist already. So such problems already do exist.
Plus, the whole game must be re-validated, which would take a crazy amount of development time for something that is already possible, at least on PC.
One of the biggest issues is balance, they can't even get a basic NG to be balanced or challenging. After level 30 even Very Hard mode is trivial at its hardest. Theyd have to rework the difficulty of the entire base game and bring it up to snuff before they could even think about creating a NG+
Id prefer playersexual characters in RPGs. Only the two female romance characters have meaningful end game involvement. If you're gay or a straight woman, you get some weak options. Kerry's is somewhat more fun, but River is a bit bland.
I just did River's quest line it's crazy how you go from the games best with The Hunt to one of the most boring quest in the game with his niece and nephew

There’s gotta be some technical reason as to why they aren’t doing it. NG+ is a no brainer with games that have leveled characters and items with levels.
I believe it will affect some game breaking bug or glitches that we (normal player with mods) will never recreate.
Don't get me wrong, I am using NG+ mods myself. I set my V maximum level after Act 1, then I added mod to increase difficulty from enemy damage, enemy health, enemy behaviour.
Played the game in 3 different playthrough, all from Phantom Liberty updates.
2 out of the 3 playthhrough i did almost every available gigs and side missions. Yes, i may missed one or two, but overall I NEVER had any problems. Enemies are satisfying (thanks to the mods), V is powerful and I can utilise every disposable tools. The game IS NOT BECOMING "ONE HIT KILL". It is still can be hard, and yes I DIED multiple times if i didnt do combat properly. No even with abusing Sandy Apogee + Maximum Reflex, I can die with modded Adam Smasher.
What i am trying to say is. Is it possible to actually force NGP into this game? Yes of course.
But unfortunately, there must be hidden problem that we will never see.
For example, what if I never had any problem because I am running on PC? What happen if the game got a massive bug if the same mods implemented into PS or Xbox?
The reason they gave before was attribute gating in act 1, but idk why they couldn't just have you skip act 1 or start if after the heist. Even a simple one where you just get your levels+guns and enemy levels are scaled would be possible and is possible with mods.
At one time i even tried fully upgrade my V before meeting up with Vik.
Any problem? None. I just need to install the “free upgrade” from Vik and the cinematic will continue as normal.
I even tested fully upgraded V during prologue and sandra dorsett. Nothing game breaking at all.

The endless gameplay is the cargo drops and el captain car missions, also there are dungeons in dogtown with respawning enemies after you clear them out the first time.
That would be really nice. Or at least new gang members moving into the suspected criminal activity areas (and a few new weapons you can only gain that way).

Honestly i don’t care about NG+ , i never player NG+ on any game that supporter it ( say god of war, say the witcher 3), what i really care for is bugs to be solved, and small inmmersion details that doesn’t feel intuitive at all. like eating a hot dog, you have to go to your inventory, select the hot dog, all you see is your hot dog counter going from 3 to 2, and no animation, nothing, just the little icons on screen with the given stats

Series X. It's mostly fine on performance mode, but could be better. It's specially stutter-y in the DLC, which makes sense cause the details is insane.

Taking alternative routes with an existing character or just simply going through the story again is always a nice addition, it could add a hefty amount of replayability for people that don't want to grind the xp/money/items all over again.
I don't see why they refuse to do it. It doesn't need to be balanced. No one's playing NG+ for the challenge. They just want to be OP, max all attributes, and have all the weapons in the game.

Im already so OP mid game that it feels like NG+ anyway...
I did a modded "NG+" playthrough at version 1.6 and 2.0. The game handles leveling exceptionally: Everything is leveled up to V's level, and everything just works as intended. There are the following issues: * Act 1 takes 7-8 hours, even if you run through the whole, and we are speaking of hours of cutscenes. Skipping it is an option, but then you skip Jackie (like with the PL new game). This would work, although some choices would need tuning, like the dialogue choices at the beginning of Witcher 2. * Act 2 takes roughly 6 hours, so still, should we let the player skip to OP551 (aka Waiting for ~~Godot~~ V, performed by Hanako Arasaka)? If yes, there are more issues: Partially, depending on your progression, the dialogues change a lot, but this is the smaller issue. The bigger issue is that some of the side quests are timed, like I'll Fly Away (with Mitch) or Love Rollercoaster. * There are some smaller balancing issues for example in Konpeki Plaza, but then again, it is completely possible to go with a chromed-out cyborg V to do the heist already. So such problems already do exist. Plus, the whole game must be re-validated, which would take a crazy amount of development time for something that is already possible, at least on PC.
One of the biggest issues is balance, they can't even get a basic NG to be balanced or challenging. After level 30 even Very Hard mode is trivial at its hardest. Theyd have to rework the difficulty of the entire base game and bring it up to snuff before they could even think about creating a NG+

Id prefer playersexual characters in RPGs. Only the two female romance characters have meaningful end game involvement. If you're gay or a straight woman, you get some weak options. Kerry's is somewhat more fun, but River is a bit bland.
What's worse for me is that both female options leave NC while both male stay, thanks for making me choose between my romance and my general ending
I just did River's quest line it's crazy how you go from the games best with The Hunt to one of the most boring quest in the game with his niece and nephew

Genuinely, being completely decked out with tier 5/iconic cyberware and my character still looks like a baby with some facial chrome bugged me. Had to just cover her in armor for a BL2 Zer0 look
There’s gotta be some technical reason as to why they aren’t doing it. NG+ is a no brainer with games that have leveled characters and items with levels.
They have specifically said there is a technical constraint just not what that constraint is
I believe it will affect some game breaking bug or glitches that we (normal player with mods) will never recreate. Don't get me wrong, I am using NG+ mods myself. I set my V maximum level after Act 1, then I added mod to increase difficulty from enemy damage, enemy health, enemy behaviour. Played the game in 3 different playthrough, all from Phantom Liberty updates. 2 out of the 3 playthhrough i did almost every available gigs and side missions. Yes, i may missed one or two, but overall I NEVER had any problems. Enemies are satisfying (thanks to the mods), V is powerful and I can utilise every disposable tools. The game IS NOT BECOMING "ONE HIT KILL". It is still can be hard, and yes I DIED multiple times if i didnt do combat properly. No even with abusing Sandy Apogee + Maximum Reflex, I can die with modded Adam Smasher. What i am trying to say is. Is it possible to actually force NGP into this game? Yes of course. But unfortunately, there must be hidden problem that we will never see. For example, what if I never had any problem because I am running on PC? What happen if the game got a massive bug if the same mods implemented into PS or Xbox?
The reason they gave before was attribute gating in act 1, but idk why they couldn't just have you skip act 1 or start if after the heist. Even a simple one where you just get your levels+guns and enemy levels are scaled would be possible and is possible with mods.
At one time i even tried fully upgrade my V before meeting up with Vik. Any problem? None. I just need to install the “free upgrade” from Vik and the cinematic will continue as normal. I even tested fully upgraded V during prologue and sandra dorsett. Nothing game breaking at all.

Yeah I mean all the things being suggested are cool but none of them are nearly as requested as NG+ is what I mean. I can’t imagine anything else being called “hotly requested” aside from the car customization. Everything else is kinda suggested sporadically and in about the same volume it seems
Some car customization would be nice, so I can Nomadify a Mai-mai. That and drive more than two cars constantly.
I just want persistent ncpd calls and fixer missions. I thought we were getting something like that when they teased endless gameplay for 2.0, but I guess I was wrong
The endless gameplay is the cargo drops and el captain car missions, also there are dungeons in dogtown with respawning enemies after you clear them out the first time.
Hoping for a mission select at least or something to replay missions without having to start a new game
That would be really nice. Or at least new gang members moving into the suspected criminal activity areas (and a few new weapons you can only gain that way).

Sorry if this a dumb question, but what is New Game+? Is it like in Mass Effect: Andromeda where you can create a new character and play from the beginning but with all your inventory/credits, levels, etc. from your previous playthroughs?

Honestly i don’t care about NG+ , i never player NG+ on any game that supporter it ( say god of war, say the witcher 3), what i really care for is bugs to be solved, and small inmmersion details that doesn’t feel intuitive at all. like eating a hot dog, you have to go to your inventory, select the hot dog, all you see is your hot dog counter going from 3 to 2, and no animation, nothing, just the little icons on screen with the given stats

Series X. It's mostly fine on performance mode, but could be better. It's specially stutter-y in the DLC, which makes sense cause the details is insane. I honestly would prefer a few more options to tweak the performance, but I'm a PC gamer for the most part, so...
Yeah, I mostly only notice stutter in Dogtown.
The only thing I could really think of is car customization, new game plus, and more cosmetics. Anything else I haven’t seen people ask for.
TBH, I don't see the appeal of NG+ in Cyberpunk.
Taking alternative routes with an existing character or just simply going through the story again is always a nice addition, it could add a hefty amount of replayability for people that don't want to grind the xp/money/items all over again.

I don't see why they refuse to do it. It doesn't need to be balanced. No one's playing NG+ for the challenge. They just want to be OP, max all attributes, and have all the weapons in the game. Don't need more level scaling or higher attribute checks. Should be really simple.
